We had a wonderful visit at "Latitude Adjustment". We didn't want to leave! Nice quiet neighborhood. Quick access to the beach! The house was well furnished with plenty of room to move around. The deck had amazing views with nice deck furniture. The Master Bedroom & Bath was very comfortable, plenty of room for storage, and updated. Great office space if you had to catch up on any work while out on vacation! Kitchen was spacious, well equipped & updated. Plenty of seating in the dining room. We had an incident with the Washing machine, but their response was quick, fix was quick, and the communication during and after was fantastic! We would 100% stay there again! It does not disappoint!

The house was perfect for us, just the right size of bedrooms and bathrooms and in a great location. We had a relaxing and comfortable time at the house and enjoyed the hot tub. We had a special family Thanksgiving and enjoyed every minute of our time there.

This home has a great location! Short walk to the beach and you can see the waves! Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Dianne is a great communicator and responds to questions quickly. Deck is wonderful with very comfy chairs.

Without being on the physical beach, you could not ask for a better property. You step out front door and your beach access is right there. House is beautifully decorated and location to town is great. Duck stood out as best OBX town. We did the Corolla Wild Horse tour, rock on fishing charters for kids, aquarium, and Catamaran sail via Norbanks Watersports. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie birds and beach accessories available. We also discovered the house could withstand Tropical storm Ophelia. Only recommendations would be to update some appliances in kitchen, and do a better job cleaning. Paddle fans in rooms and all counter tops could've used a better dusting/cleaning. Overall would definitely recommend this house and town to any travelers!

We had a wonderful time staying in Duck! Hurricane Lee kept us off the beach one day but the sun was shining and the wind on the top deck kept us comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck watching the ocean and the higher water surge enabled us to see the breaking waves from the deck. The furniture was comfortable and there weren’t too many steps. Our property manager was wonderful with a little hiccup with the sheets and towels our first night but everything was delivered the next day. We brought K cups for coffee but also brought regular coffee. We couldn’t get the Keriug to work so we were glad to have the regular coffee maker. The distance to the ocean was great- even for a 68 year old getting ready to have hip surgery. Thank you again for a wonderful week!

This house was in the best location, perfect size for our family, and was beautifully renovated. We love the location and house so much that we are going to book each time for the summer, as long as we can, to watch our son grow up in Duck. The master upstairs was amazing with the bathroom redone and the bed was very comfortable. The rest of family stated downstairs was perfect for them as well. The cleanliness was not up to my standard as i would have liked all toliets to have a deep clean and ensure no yellow stains could be seen at all. However, we can always do our wipe down but would prefer to not during vacation as we paid for a house. We loved using the kitchen to cook and had a great variety of things we needed. I could not find the blender and would like the toaster and toaster oven to be updated but hey.... going out to brunch is always a better choice too! Dianne was wonderful in communication and I appreciated the time and care she took to help us with the linen delivery. This was very much a family home and we hope that we are able to contine renting during our favorite time in summer.

What’s not to love??? We love a summer retreat at Duck and the location of this home was just perfect!!! There was plenty of room for all six adults and the kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to make some meals at home.

This was our second time staying at latitude adjustment, and we’ve loved it both times. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly. It was a great place for my kids to play basketball and ride bikes. It was also close enough to town to ride bikes to check out the shops. This is my favorite place to stay so far!

Great location! Overall property is beautiful. Kitchen appliances need updating (toaster over, toaster, fridge, stove). But other than that, it was great.

The house was very nice, large and fully equipped. The beds were comfortable. Definitely a plus that the linens and towels were included. Location was wonderful, short walk to the beach and nice views. Communication with the owner/agent was great. Would definitely book again.

The house was very clean, was close to the beach and had everything we needed.

Overall a good property. Nice convenient location to the beach. I would consider renting again if I didn’t have adult friends and family having to share the one bath downstairs. The cleanliness of the house needed attention. Very dusty dirty floors. The kitchen sink had food left in the drain screen. Kerig coffee maker needs descaling. Some of the dishes were dirty. I ran all plates, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware through the wash before using. Space rugs were dirty and the comforter in the master was dirty. Extra pillows in the closets were yellows with age. Online stated there was a smaller washer and drying in the house. Which there was not. I washed comforter and bath rugs. I attempted to run the vacuum but it wasn’t working. Former guests left personal items behind so not sure if bath cabinets and drawers were cleaned out prior to our stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Latitude Adjustment. The home was perfect and the location could not have been better! We will definitely book this home again.

Highly recommend this property and a pleasure communicating with the lovely owner throughout the process, very responsive . Everything we needed was provided and more for a perfect week in Duck. The newly renovated property is top notch and you couldn't ask for a better location for beach access in a quiet well maintained neighborhood.

The location of this house is great ---just one house off beach and close to Duck activities. Loved that house and beach were dog friendly. House was spacious and 2 of three bathrooms and kitchen were very nicely renovated. One recommendation would be to update the kitchen countertop appliances. Would definitely consider staying again.

Can not say enough about this property. The kids are already asking to come back. Very clean, spacious, and quiet. Morning coffee on the deck is a must. The beach is beautiful. The street Did not have a life guard on duty the week we were there but there was a guard a few blocks down which worked for us. It was the perfect vacation! Great location. Quiet area. Ocean view from the deck was great. Village Tavern was a short walk away and a nice place to watch the sunset over the sound with a few drink.

A wonderful location and a very comfortable beach house for family members. The house had a coastal vibe and great setting. Great place for anyone who enjoys the ocean and beach.

The house was amazing, just like the pictures. Of course the beach was just as awesome. Owners were super friendly and communication was great!

We enjoyed the property and everyone in our group was comfortable. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The day after arrival, we swept the top level floors and gathered lots of black dog hair, among other things. The curtains were not clean, and the light fixtures were buggie. I did wash out the outside light bowls to assist with lighting and looks. The kitchen was not as well equipped as other properties, and organization was non-existent. We made some adjustments there, but perhaps that's a personal preference. There were several instances of family members stepping on sand burrs in the second floor carpet, too. No one was playing in the yard within our group to bring them in. I realize this is a difficult thing to control, but just offering what we encountered. Even with the above, a second visit to this property would be acceptable. Access to the beach was great! The sound of ocean waves was wonderful and peaceful, as was watching the pelicans fly along the shore. The neighborhood was nice and welcoming, clean and friendly. The hottub was nice, clean and comfortable. The lounge chairs were comfy and the access to the washer, dryer and beach equipment was much appreciated.

This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. Clean, open, and bright. The new master suite is lovely. Proximity to the beach and town is +++. Already looking forward to our next stay.

This is our third time in Duck, twice at another property and the first time at this one. This is the first time we weren't on the ocean, but the views did not disappoint! The decks are amazing and we spent so much time out on them! The hot tub is clean and so nice out on the deck. The house had lots of beach chairs and everything you would want to use in the kitchen. The outside shower, foot washe and hoses were very convenient. You can tell it has been renovated. The king suite is especially nice! The shower is so big and beautiful! While there is beach access literally steps from the house, there was an unusually long and more severe Noreaster that came through, so we were stuck inside for a week, but luckily stayed two weeks, so we could enjoy the beach. Unfortunately, there was no access to the beach for more than half of the time because the storm made it impossible to get down. Once there was access across the street, it was incredibly steep, but still so nice to have within steps from the house. We would recommend!

The house was as advertised. Very close to the beach with great water views. The house was updated and clean. The elevated hot tub was a nice touch and provided nice views as well. The house was within walking distance to a restaurant and short 5 min drive to downtown Duck.

We loved the house, and the views were better than expected! Truly the photos can't quite capture the feel of entering the great room with windows and ocean view all around. The neighborhood was friendly and the beach was 2-3 minutes away at most. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We'll definitely stay here again!

This house is in a wonderful location, just across the street from the beach. We had a great time walking the beach and visiting the extremly cute and friendly town of Duck. Overall it's a great spot and the layout of the house was perfect for a beach getaway.
