We rented all three cabins for 16 family members all in town for an ash burial ceremony and everything was exceptional.

We had an amazing time! It was so great to have a place to unwind and unplug from everything. Having access to the canoes and kayaks were such a great bonus. Got to mark some stuff off my bucket list with my family this weekend.

Perfect little get away! Located on Merrill brook where it meets the Penobscot river. Great Ice fishing just a few steps away. Really enjoyable. Cabins have everything for in cabin meals. Saw deer, Eagles and friendly people!

The owners do such a wonderful job making this a charming, quiet getaway. Was a peaceful trip to recharge at as usual. We have now stayed here 3 times. Love it.

Clean cabins, great hosts and great location!

Perfect location to fish the Penobscot River or hit the ATV trails right from the cabin. Plenty of room to park truck and trailer. The sound of the peepers in the evening was greatly satisfying along with horseshoes and fire pit.

We spent the week fishing the river and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Great location and great hosts.

The cabin was a little small for our tastes but the location next to the beautiful river and Brook can't be beat! Diane and John were welcoming. We enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities- kayak, canoe, fishing, fire pit, horseshoes, and basketball. We would consider returning.

Great place to stay. My family really had a great time here.. My kids enjoyed getting to fish. They had plenty of yard to run and play in. Will look at staying here again.

The cabins are in a great situation on both Merrill Brook and Panobscott River. We did a fishing vacation with my nephew and his son and he had a wonderful time.

This has been were we have stayed for every Millinocket Marathon since 2017. Love this place! Close enough to Millinocket but just far away enough to relax after our race. It has become a tradition to stay here.

My husband and I stayed a few days to celebrate our anniversary because it's so beautiful, peaceful and cozy there. The cabins are always clean and the hosts are available if you need them,, but they leave you be.. This is definitely our favorite place to be. Thank you to our gracious hosts!! ❤

Words cannot express how much we appreciated the peace and comfort staying here meant to us. The genuine love and hospitality we received from Diane was so appreciated. The property was a welcome place for our family to gather far from home to be near our father during his last days. We wouldn’t have been able to be together to laugh, cry, share memories comfort and support the way we did had it not been for this sweet little cabin. We are eternally grateful for the time we had together and for the peace we were able to find here. Thank you so much, Diane! You are truly an angel on earth!

Great location

We had a great weekend the cabin was perfect for our family. Looking forward to returning next summer.

Host was extremely helpful. Cabin was clean and had a full kitchen for cooking in as well as a charcoal grill outside. The A/C unit easily kept the whole cabin cool. Great fishing in the brook as well as the river. Wonderful swimming opportunities at both places as well, which were both a step away from the cabin. The property was well kept and allowed plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood but still close to amenities. The views from the covered porch was amazing. We spent most of time outside and on that porch. Our family enjoyed our stay very much.

Definitely not a resort area. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is for you. Would not want to stay here with more than two people. Cabin is small.

The cabin is clean and comfortable. It is directly across from a boat ramp for the Penobscot River which is perfect for us. Nice fire pit with seating and nice charcoal grills with elevating grill. The front porch is a little small but overall we had everything we needed. We had a great time fishing and caught lots of smallmouth

This place is amazing, convenient, comfortable, and peaceful. Even with a neighbor on either side (we were #2 in the middle) we only ever saw them in the morning and at night. We always felt like the whole place was ours. There are so many fun and exciting things to do around the area and more than enough to do just staying put! Can't wait to go back, soon!!

This is a great place for our group to stay for a week of fishing. Scenery is gorgeous, right on the river. Host was very good to work with, clean and everything was in good working order. My 3rd stay and we will come back again.

Spent Valentine’s Day weekend with my husband and two boys (3 and 8). It was the perfecttttt weekend, everything about it. We will definitely be coming back next year, if not this summer!

My family and I enjoyed our mini vacation very much! Nice and cozy cabin. Clean and has everything needed. The outside is gorgeous. You can see the river right from your door steps and its a specially beautiful during sunset or sunrise. Diane was a great host, gave us our privacy yet was quick to respond to any questions. Would love to stay there again!

We stayed with my family and I don't think the place could be any better. It is such a peaceful location -at the intersection of a brook and a lake. We were able to swim in the lake and the water was very clean. We used the kayaks and it was a great experience (provided free by the owners). I cannot even describe the kindness of the hosts -Diane and John. They take care of the property very well. I generally don't write reviews but this one was extraordinary. We spent a day in Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park - each an hour away. I already told all my friends about this place and if you have the opportunity don't miss out! ps: My husband lost his sunglasses in the brook and Diane &John were so kind to find it later and ship it to us (a huge suprise for my husband :) ). Many thanks Diane & John, we would love to come back again and again.

This was an excellent stay! We really enjoyed the fishing, catching a combined 50+ smallmouth in Merrell Brook! What a surprise to find A/C available especially during the recent heatwave. The cabin had everything we needed and appreciated the use of canoes and kayaks was awesome! We highly recommend and will be back for sure!
