The only black mark was that we had serious trouble entering the property for the first day and a half due a malfunction in the coded system. I think maybe the battery was going low. However, the owner took care of it in a very prompt manner. That is the only thing that prevented this from being a five star

I highly recommend this condo for a great beachside vacation. It was a well-equipped condo, very comfortable with plenty of seating and a balcony view of the pool and Gulf. We had plenty of time for relaxation and swimming. It was great! Mercedes is a wonderful host and very helpful with very quick response. Thank you, Mercedes!

Very pretty and spacious No problems.

Loved everything about this condo. Had everything we needed plus some! Beautifully furnished. Comfortable beds. Weather was wonderful.

Everything was great and as expected,

Condo was a little aged but very clean. Everything was working except the internet. If I remember correctly the modem needed to be replaced. Once we contacted the manager they arranged for someone to replace it. Unfortunately it couldn’t happen before our departure. Also, a few slats were missing from the window covering in the master bedroom. Condo is in a nice location and has convenient parking, is maintained nicely and has great beach access.

Red tide was a bummer but other than that, we enjoyed iur stay

Check in was at 4 and at 430, the room was very dirty and had not been cleaned prior to the last renter. We called the owner who said she would clean it. We were not able to check in until after 8pm. She advised we could put our items in the condo. We saw the dirty condition of the condo and did not want to leave our items it. The host told us she would buy dinner saying it "was the least she could do" We were exhausted. We wanted to check in and have the groceries picked up while two of us rested. We did not want a big dinner out without resting and showering. When we checked in after 8 we were advised the A/C wasn't working, but that it felt "comfortable" It was not comfortable. It was hot and miserable after a long day of traveling. The entire next morning there was a stranger in our condo working on the air until after noon. We lost a day and a half of our trip. The room was not clean when we got into it. The floors were greasy. There was mold growing on the ceiling above the bar. The toilet did not flush well. I bought bleach to clean the bathroom because it smelled. I asked the host to comp one night and was told offering dinner was sufficient. It was apparent she was relying on the fact that I was out of state and it would cost me significantly if I intended to hold her legally to the contract. The dinner out, she did not pay for, but the cost was not close to equivalent. The area was perfect and I will go back to the area but NOT this Owner.

We were very happy with the property. The beach location and surrounding area make for a fun and relaxing vacation. The condo was very clean and nice. We spent 3 weeks there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful condo, pool and beach. The condo is everything you could ask for. Lots of room and beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of Guest parking. Mercedes is wonderful! Responds to any issue. Best of all she let us do a late check out as our flight wasn't until 6 pm.

The owner was very easy to work with. View was amazing. Beautiful pool area and beach. We felt very secure. The condo was spacious and had most essentials. Our only concern or complaint was it wasn’t very clean or well cared for.

Great spot in Indian Shores. Property is pretty much turn key with everything for the beach including blanket, towels, chairs, and toys. The location is great to watch the sunset from your balcony or a short walk down to the beach. Pool and hot tub were perfect and this unit it nicely located with just a single flight of stairs down to the pool level. Mercedes was a great host. She was quick to respond to questions and flexible.

This condo was perfect. It had everything we needed, beach toys, boogie boards, umbrella, beach chairs. View from the balcony was amazing. Very clean condo. Having owned condos in NC, so I was very picky on Location and size and furniture of the condo. We enjoyed the beach, pool and hot tub, the grills on the pool deck. Will definitely be back. The owner is very easy to reach. She suggested great places for us to visit. Much appreciated.

Mercedes allowed early check in which was a tremendous help in managing airport arrivals. Facilities were very clean and Rock Star Reserved Parking! Beach side amenities provided were a nice added touch. I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Breathtaking views and classy condo. Just about anything you need is there. Pans and utensils need replacing. The patio door does not lock and we did not have internet all week. With a 10 year old that was difficult. We saw roaches behind the stove the first night while cooking. We got bait the next day and didn’t see anymore. I was horrified after that. I did text the owner but she has nothing to say about that. It really surprised me because the unit was really clean! Overall good stay.

Excellent until someone 💩in the pool & it needed to be closed to be sanitized. 😂

Great time and place

The rental is in an ideal location to access the beach and pool easily from the second floor. The condo itself needed some extra cleaning. The plastic shower curtain was dirty and needed replaced, dishes re-washed, cabinets wiped out, and couch cleaned. All in all it was still a nice place to say, just could have been cleaner.

Our family had a great time and really enjoyed The Beach Cottages property. Our condo was the perfect size for 4 adults. Easy access to the private beach was a plus and it had everything we needed. The location is within a few min drive of so many restaurants and shopping. Can’t wait to come back.

Location was perfect, beautiful white sandy beach with clear water, kids loved the pool. Close to restaurants and Johns Pass. Condo was spacious, bathrooms were clean and updated, but other rooms could have used a good scrub and updates. The towels seemed new but never washed, the kitchen garbage can smelled so bad we had to put downy stoppable in the bottom to make it smell better. I felt like I needed to wash the dishes before using them. The futon leg was still broken even though other people mentioned it in their review and we had to unscrew the lights in the ceiling fan every night because the pull was broken. The owner was quick to communicate. Would stay in the area again but probably pick a different condo.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Condo is just as described. Steps from the beach, amazing beach/sunset views from the balcony and quick and easy access to the pool and hot tub. We saved so much money cooking our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Hit up Costco on our arrival day and we were set for the week. We only left the property once to go to the Florida Aquarium to give our Northern skin a break from the Florida sun. Otherwise, we literally spent every minute at the beautiful beach and pool. The unit has a closet with a couple of beach chairs, umbrella, and some toys for the kiddos. Lots of beach towels too! Beds were very comfy as well. Mercedes was always very quick to help answer any questions we had leading up to our trip. Check in was very smooth and the dedicated parking spot is right next to the main entry to the complex. There were luggage carts on site to helped minimize trips back and forth to the car. Would love to book this property again!!

The overall property is located nicely on the beach, has large pool deck and is maintained well. Mercedes, the owner, was nice to work with. Never did I have questions so everything is well communicated. The condo is what it appears. It's a little dated. The kitchen isn't dirty but I felt like I needed to clean things before using them. The bathrooms are clean. The air is cold. The furniture is mostly comfortable. The bedroom TV's aren't on the cable like the living room, I can't imagine it would cost that much more to have them on the same service. Instead they have Rokus to stream mostly reruns of obscure shows. It only created a conflict once. If your are staying here to sit in the condo then I can't help you. The beach is beautiful, the resteraunts are great and the weather is why you are there.

This condo was spacious, quiet with a beautiful view. Pool, hot tub and grilling area were very convenient. Steps to the beach! Owner was very easy to contact and quickly responded to any questions or needs. Would rent again for sure. Thank you!

Accommodations were very nice. Great location, access to the beach, pool, attractions and restaurants. Our only concern was the property manager didn’t respond to our phone calls or text messages.

The property owner was professional and easy to contact. The location is perfect right on the beach and close to everything. The property needs a handyman and a few new pieces of furniture. Upon arrival there were several paint cans left out right in the entryway. We read previous reviews that noted a broken futon bed from months ago and when we arrived it was still broken. Electrically shorted lights on the ceiling fan in the master that worked 25% of the time and neither bathroom vent fan worked without a loud squeaking noise so it was always damp particularly after showering. 2nd bedroom ceiling fan lights could not be turned off and have the fan operable so we removed the bulbs at night and reinstalled each morning. There were many other small items that if repaired would make this rental an absolute gem. We would stay here again if the property was fully refreshed and repaired.

The property is in a great location with easy beach access and we had a great time there! The property itself could use some updates. There was a broken couch in the master bedroom that wasn't taken out. There were wet towels and sheets in the dryer when we arrived, so it wasn't ready for prime time. The towels were threadbare. All in all it is a great place to stay for the location but the place itself could potentially be a five star property with some work and updates to the interiors and amenities.

The room was not what we are used to. The recliner had so much build up on the arms that we wouldnt use it. I had to clean the balcony furniture off before we could use it as well. The shower had mold in it. The coffee burner was rusted, the refrigerator had black "something" on the door so we cleaned it. All kitchen appliances are dated. The lighting on the balcony wouldnt work, the lamp had to be moved to a plug in that worked, the ceiling fan light in the bedroom worked about 1/2 the time. The pillows and linens must be from the 80's. The place simply needs updated. I contacted the owner upon arrival and told of some of the issues. No offer of a refund, assistance or anything. We enjoyed our trip but I believe there are cleaner, much more updated places to stay.
