Secluded and near to all the best hikes. What a great way to explore the Ozarks!

The cabin is so comfortable. It's close enough to town that we could run in for groceries but you are on such a large piece of land that you feel isolated. We had a blast playing in the game room and relaxing in the hot tub. It was so great and we will be back

Loved all the amenities, spacious rooms, well stocked kitchen- all the comforts of home with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities! The s’’mores supplies were a sweet treat!! Would definitely book again!!

We all loved this place and location! It is remote and Tmobile service was non existant, however wifi at the house made this not a burden. House is nicely laid out and we LOVED the hot tub and game room. No complaints about anything.

We had the most amazing, comfortable stay at Moorewood House. It was like our home away from home and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!

This is a great place for a couple's weekend or a large group. The house is easy to get to and a quick drive to Jasper and other sites. Beautiful views, fun game room, nice hot tub... We loved staying in the Morwood!

Amazing view from the deck, close-to-town conveniences, spacious rooms, kitchen tools and cookware, puzzles & games, towels for after the hot tub, extra blankets... everything our family needed for a wonderful stay!

We only stayed here for a few days. It was a side trip to a longer vacation. The house is fine. It was clean upon arrival. We haven’t vacationed here before and wanted to see what the area was like. I’m glad we only booked 3 nights because we couldn’t find much to do locally. The Buffalo River was quite low so we couldn’t kayak or canoe. Tried a close hike, Round Top Mountain loop and came back with quite a few ticks so check yourself if you hike in the area. We did a day trip to Branson, an hour drive and enjoyed that along with a trip to Table Rock Lake. Eureka Springs is about an hour away as well. The game room at the house was nice as well as the hot tub. The one negative I would mention is there is no dishwasher and the check out rule is you must hand wash and put away all dishes before leaving. I had to wash everything I took out of the cabinets before using them because all of the dishes and pans were not clean. Not the owner’s fault, I guess people just don’t care how they leave someone else’s property once they are done with it. Over all the house is fine. The wood in the house is beautiful!!! The TV channels available were great.

You place was the perfect place for my son-in-law and his groomsmen to stay! Great place!

We stayed 4 nights here. The property had gorgeous views and is right on Hwy 7 which is beautiful for motorcycle riding. We had a wonderful time here!

Owners are super nice, the house was clean and perfect for the older kids along with us and our teenage daughter. Property needs a little updating here and there but nothing that would stop us from going back to stay for another week. Thank y’all!!

My family needed a get away from our demanding jobs where people just kind of suck the life out of us. This was just what we needed, the adult children joined us for serious quiet time. I had fun showing off my dart playing skills that noone knew I had. I can't remember the last time we all fought to put in a puzzle piece. While some enjoyed the hot tub, others enjoyed nearby hikes. With no neighbors around, we were free to let our hair down and just enjoy ourselves.

Amazing views on the way to the home, including many overlook sites that have amazing scenery! Upon entry to the home, it felt very warm and inviting. (It even felt/looked way larger than I imagined!) Although I enjoyed all of the amenities, I feel as if I enjoyed the hot tub and game room the most. Very beautiful home & I hope to rent again in the future! Thank you!

Our family enjoyed the hiking, rafting and rock climbing in the area. The house was a good fit for our group with plenty of room to spread out. The pool and ping pong table, as well as the hot tub were nice extras.

We had an amazing stay at this property. My kids (6 and 4) and dog loved exploring the spacious lot and surrounding woods and the game room came in huge when we were rained out a couple of days. The hot tub hit and relaxing by the fire pit were a perfect way to end a day of hiking and canoeing. And it’s a perfect location to access multiple hikes, Jasper, surrounding restaurants, and of course the river. If I’m being picky, I would add a TV and a bit of lighting to the game room. Otherwise, it’s not the most updated house, but it has a ton of character and is ideal for families who like to explore.

Beautiful and well maintained property. The house had everything that we needed and kept 4 kids plenty busy when we weren’t hiking or kayaking on the Buffalo National. The pool table, ping pong table and hot tub got plenty of use. The owners notified us of a shelter below the house when there was a tornado warning, in case we needed it. No complaints Amd we would definitely return or recommend the Morewood House to anybody!

My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs, and had an amazing time. It was the perfect mix between away from it all and close to necessities. There were many amazing dog friendly hikes within an hour or so from the property, and the hot tub on the deck was the perfect way to relax after days of adventuring. The game room was so much fun! The house is comfortable, well used and well loved.

A great place to kick off our Christmas vacation.

House is wonderfully located , appointed and supplied. All was clean. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children under 2.

This house is in the prime place for a lot of nice hikes. Jasper is a nice little town with very pleasant people. There are several very good restaurants in the area. The house is off the road and quiet. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space. The deck was great to relax and watch the sunset.

Had a great time enjoying hikes and scenic drives around the area. The house is exactly as pictured. Looking forward to going back to float the Buffalo River.

A group of us for friends take a hiking trip each fall. We chose this property for its location to the Buffalo River State Forest and caves. It was perfect. The property manager was excellent. He responded to me quickly the few times I messaged him. And the house was more than we needed, we enjoyed the deck and looking at the beautiful stars at night. And the hot tub!
