We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was equipped with all of the basic needs and more. Location is unbeatable, 2-3 minute walk to a public beach. The host was very nice, greate communication. Definetely recommend!

We had a great week!
The property was well equipped w everything needed to cook. Our family of 6 plus two littles were very comfortable, several gathering spaces. The amenities for the beach were great, a cart, wagon , umbrella and chairs for all of us. Everything listed was available . The location was perfect , to the beach! Would love to stay here again!

Our family has stayed at Cedar Grove Cottage for four years now. We come back because CGC accommodates our party well and is close to the beach. There is plenty of room for us all, and makes it easy for us to cook when we want, while good restaurants and markets are not far away.

This property was wonderful! The screened in porch was the perfect spot to have a glass of wine and catch up with friends. So close to beach and easy walk to breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent home for a friends get away for a 50th birthday gathering. The place was perfect for cozy winter nights with the hot tub and fireplace. The home has everything you need to cook anything, keep entertained and stay relaxed. It was nice to be so close to the lake for a winter wonderland walk, and noticed that had it been summer .....every beach amenity you could possibly need is available to guests.

This is our second year in a row staying at this house and it’s perfect. We love that there are so many setting areas and the layout of the whole space. We look forward to staying again next year.

Loved my stay! The house was comfy & cozy with lots of space to sleep, eat & hang out. There were several outdoor areas to enjoy — cute screened porch, covered open patio with grill & well-furnished backyard, including the hot tub (really clean!). I got lucky and had a few days of warm fall weather… the beach was just steps away from the house and all the beach gear needed was there. The kitchen has everything you need if you like to cook. The neighborhood was peaceful with several dining options and shops nearby in walking distance. I had a few questions during my stay and Jennifer was a responsive and gracious host.

We have been coming to Union Pier for many many years and have found Jennifer's cottage to be the perfect one for our growing family now! It has everything you could possibly need, so less to bring from home.We have actually bought a book and a game we discovered there that we and the kids really enjoyed. The location is great for our days on the beach and our walks to dinner! My only complaint is the week went by way too fast! Hope to be back!

This was the 4th season that we spent at the Cedar Hollow house and enjoyed every square inch of it. We cooked together in the kitchen, loved the outdoor porch where we had our dinners, soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed the walk to the beach everyday! Truly a relaxing time!

Cedar Hollow Cottage is a great beach house. The location is a short walk to the beach and there are fewer stairs than other beach entrances. The house has generous space with several areas inside and out to gather with family or friends. It is well-supplied with beach gear, kitchen equipment and dishware, games for adults and toys for kids. The loft bedroom has a low, sloping ceiling so it may not be a good fit for tall people, but children will love it. The beds were super comfy and the house is delightfully decorated.

Our group of 6 adults enjoyed Jen’s lovey home. So many nice places in & out to relax. The beach so close and never crowded was a big plus. A storm before we arrived had caused the outside patio to need attention and Jen was on it and had someone come out to clean up. Loved the hot tub.
Great area to shop for antiques and find places to eat. We really loved shopping in Sawyer at the home & garden store. Great produce, gifts and food selection.
Barney’s in New Buffalo was a very nice grocery store also. We hope to return to Union Pier again.
Time went too fast and we wished we could have stayed longer.

CHC is elegantly finished, with two large common areas and a generous dining room. The kitchen is well furnished, but a little cramped if you are cooking in. The downstairs bedrooms sleep six comfortably; the upstairs is best for 2 or 3 children.

This place was perfect for our annual girls trip. So many great outdoor seating areas and spacious inside. Can’t wait to go back.

My family and extended family (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby in total) all thoroughly enjoyed our week at CHC! House was well decorated, stocked with toys and games and kitchen supplies, beds were comfortable, house space and yard space was great and the location was perfect. We loved being so close to the beach (so we could go for the day and then go back at sunset) and very close walking distance to restaurants and shops. We love going to Union Pier every year. This house is beautiful. It was spacious enough for our family of 10 to celebrate Mother’s Day. We loved the neighborhood, short walk to the beach, and the large beautiful backyard. We also loved the screened in porch. The hot tub was an extra bonus. The house was stocked very well and was clean. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, spacious, and charming. 5 sisters met here from different cities and had a wonderful weekend relaxing at this lovely home. Plenty of amenities to be comfortable and taken care of. Plenty of cooking and serving ware to make a couple stay-in meals. The screened in front porch was so pleasant to sit and chat over a charcuterie board and some local wine. Highly recommend this property.

What a great property situated perfectly near the beach, town and local attractions. One of the most well stocked kitchens off any property I've ever rented. The hot tub was awesome too. We will be back!

This was a great location and house for our girls weekend. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious. We had a great time and the location was perfect. Even though we were there during the cold off-season, there was so much to do and the house was located near the beach, restaurant and shopping. The hosts were very responsive and the amenities were exactly as described. We highly recommend this property.

Location is great with an easy walk to the beach, and the whole yard and outdoor space was perfect for spending time together. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We've been going to Union Pier for over two decades now and CHC is right up there with our favorites! Everything you need is provided - well stocked kitchen, beach towels and chairs, and great games and books! Good location to beach too which is a big plus with little ones!
