Our family really enjoyed coming to Villa Aurora! There is plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do! Hito and Vicky are extremely welcoming. Vicky cooked a fabulous Belizean/American meal. Mike was also extremely responsive with any question and other needs(ie. booking 1/2 day charters, setting up golf carts, picking up from airport and bringing us back to the airport). Our family thoroughly enjoyed this trip and was able to relax! Thank You All for sharing Villa Aurora!

All arround a fantastic expirience, from the property administrator Mike to property care takers Jairo and Vicky. Made our family and friends feel that this was our home away from home.

The place, location and staff were all amazing. From the pickup with Mike to Jay and his wife, everything was amazing! Would definitely recommend this location if you have a large group.

We loved staying here!!! The house was very clean and had lots of activities, we didn’t even need to leave! The consierge helped us with anything we needed for food, etc. Such a lovely place and we hope to stay there again!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great 7-day stay at Villa Aurora. Jairo and Vicki (caretakers of the property) were absolutely amazing! They helped us with whatever needs we had, and Vicki is an amazing cook. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-16). We all had our own space and enjoyed the house. Would highly recommend this property when booking your stay in Ambergris Caye.

Home is very nice. Staff is outstanding. Cooked a great dinner for us one evening and were always available to answer questions, help with scheduling activities, etc.

Our group of 8 adults and teens had an incredible Spring Break at Villa Aurora. The home and the views are even better than pictured. We had perfect space to be together by the pool or in the house. Our own private beach was a magical place to enjoy a bonfire. Even with ALL this - the best part of this property are the team who help you every step of the way. Mike helps with airport transfers, golf carts, arranging everything from massages to dinners out. He’s very responsive and helpful! And dear Hairo lives on property with his wife and precious son. They are all WONDERFUL. Hairo built us bonfires, surprised us with fresh coconut water, went grocery shopping for us and even made a surprise TikTok of us we didn’t know he was making! He takes care of the chickens on-site and was quick to point out iguanas and everything else we could have missed. When we accidentally broke a golf cart windshield, he called around for us to price solutions. On our last night, he and his wife made us the most delicious meal of burritos with homemade sauce. They take such great care of the property and treated us like their family. I can’t say enough about them. Book this house!

We had a group of 8, ages 8 to 80, and we all had a wonderful stay here. Jeiro and Vicki are fantastic, and they went above and beyond on a daily basis making sure that we had an excellent stay here. Our first night here, I was exhausted, so Vicki had prepared the best Belizean meal for our family. The food was fantastic. Mike contacted me right away and set up our plane tickets to the Island from Belize City, our golf cart rentals, excursions and meals. I didn't have to worry about anything. The property does need some updates here and there, but overall, I was very happy with our stay and my family was comfortable. I'm so glad that we had the opportunity to stay there and have such a great experience.

We just returned from a week in Villa Aurora and as a frequent visitor to Ambergris Caye (16 trips) I can say this is the best accommodations and overall experience ever. The home is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped, grounds are beautiful and expansive, and the large pool is very nice. The caretaker and his family (Jairo and Vicki) attend to your every need PLUS offer great suggestions such as a bonfire, fishing on the dock, showing off the beautiful grounds, picking up items in town and more. They added so much unexpected joy to our visit. Mike the property manager took care of travel to and from the San Pedro airport, stopping for groceries, and he can set up golf carts, excursions, and many more extras. One day after being gone for 12 hours on a mainland excursion we took advantage of a wonderful meal prepared for us in the villa of grilled chicken, fish, conch ceviche, vegetables and more. It was a terrific way to end a long day with an authentic Belizean dinner ready for us when we returned. The entire week was just outstanding and I highly recommend Villa Aurora. Bob Adams

This place was perfect for our first time over sea vacation. Mike the manager helped us so much. There was no shampoo or conditioner when I thought there was but we survived. It was pretty far from town. A 20 minute golf cart ride. It was private. My family loved the dogs. Great place for large families

I cannot say enough good things about this trip. I couldn't even wait to get home - I'm writing this from my layover location. I had never been to Belize, and I had never really planned a trip for a large group (I traveled with my boyfriend, my own family, and his family - 8 people total of varying ages). Mike made the process very easy for me since the moment I booked the house, helping me understand what I might need once I got there and booking it for me. Once we got there, the property exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, scenic, remote, peaceful, and easy. Jairo, the groundskeeper, was one of the kindest persons I have ever worked with. He chatted with all our party members and attended to everything we needed with ease and a positive attitude. If you are scrolling through these reviews thinking about whether to do it, stop hesitating. Just do it. I am already heartbroken that the trip is over. As a side note, we snorkeled with a crew that Mike recommended, and that experience was also a dream come true. We were even treated to some visits by some very friendly house dogs. As you can see from other reviews on here, you cannot swim in the ocean from the house property, but the "secret beach" is quite close and is absolutely stunning. We'll definitely be back!

Nice big 5 br/5 ba house that housed 5 couples. big ocean front yard with VB, cornhole, horse shoes, bonfire, long private dock, fishing off dock. Full time care takers on site, chef available @ $40/P. Groceries are expensive, so chef prepared meals are a good option. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Bring bug spray!! Buy liquor at Duty Free in Belize City. Pool a little deep to enjoy, but nice sun deck with lounge chairs. Mike the concierge, is very helpful with reservations and answering any questions. Also did massages at the house (roughly $75 to 90/p). Would go again to this place.

Mike, Teresa and Jose were terrific hosts. They checked in with us every day, responded promptly to questions, and the meals Teresa cooked for us were better than what we had at the restaurants. We had plenty of space to relax, play games and enjoy our week in the sun.

We rented Villa Aurora for a 40th birthday family reunion that consisted of 4 kids (1, 2, 4 and 7 year old) and 6 adults, for a total of 10 people. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, highlighted by the incredibly helpful staff who take care of this property. Pros: 1- the property is very spacious and did not feel cramped for our party of 10. There is even a guest room on the ground floor that could have accommodated 2 more people, but we had all members of our party stay in the main house. 2- the private beach area in front of the house is fantastic and superbly maintained. There are volleyball bets, an area for bond fires, and just tons of clean sandy beach for kids to play on (throw frisbees, footballs, etc.) 3- Jose and Theresa’s, the couple who take care of this property and live right behind it are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Given they live onsite, they are available immediately to resolve any issues and are ready/willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you have a great stay. We also had Theresa cook dinner for us on a few nights of our stay and were happy with the authentic island food she prepared. 4- Mike the property manager is super responsive and we appreciated his honesty when he highlighted a discrepancy in our final bill, one we wouldn’t have noticed in our own. 5- the private dock is actually a great spot to have a few beers and catch some fish! Cons: 1- aside from the master bathroom, the other bathrooms need a refresh, as you would expect more from a property at this price point. 2- the waters in front of the property have a ton of sea grass/algae, making it unusable for swimming. The waters do become clear once you get to the edge of the dock and to be fair the entire island is dealing with a problem of sea grass/algae taking over nearly all their beaches. We rented a boat to take us to tranquility beach, which is at the northern tip of the island and had some of the clearest beaches. 3- The pool at the property is very deep (10 feet), so kids have to be strong swimmers to use it. 4- the property is a ways out from downtown SanPiedro (about 30 mins), but we were actually just fine with that, as it made the environment feel much calmer and there still are some great restaurants nearby (Matachica, John’s Escape, Portofino) All in all, a great vacation spot!

The house, yard and private pier were perfect for a family vacation. Simon met us at the airport with our 2 golf carts and escorted us to the house and gave us a tour. The caretakers, Jose and Theresa, took wonderful care of us. We enjoyed our Belizean meals. We loved the large yard and played volleyball and corn hole. The pier is perfect for fishing and spotting sting rays. Highly recommend this property.

The house is exactly how it is pictured! Never need to leave the property if you don’t want to. There were 7 of us, all my adult children and their significant others. Chartered boat rentals picked us up at our dock, Mike helped us with the golf cart rentals and met us with them at the water taxi! Therese and Jose were terrific, from several home cooked meals, to anything we needed. Very sweet couple! I was looking for less hustle and lots of quality time with my family and that’s exactly what we had! Several great restaurants near the house and didn’t need to go into San Pedro if we didn’t want to. Highly recommend this property 😊

This is a beautiful home and the chef Teresa and her husband that takes care of the grounds are absolutely wonderful people! There are also two dogs that come with the house, and I must say, our group enjoyed this so much as well. They came with us to the dock or to dinner next door and somehow knew all of us after day one. They never barked at us, but barked at anyone else who came on the property or might be walking by. We definitely felt that this added an extra level of security to the place as well as a true homey feeling for our group of ten who all have dogs as our own back home. The pool is gorgeous and deep, we enjoyed sunsets on the roof and there was plenty of room for all of us.

Patrick is an incredible host. So communicative and kind. The house is great. The location is pretty far North - which we love - you only need to bring your clothes and a desire to enjoy. Teresa and Juan, the on-site house managers, are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our interactions with them. We will love to vacation here again

We had a great trip to Ambergris Caye this year. We've been there many times and stayed at a variety of rental houses & resorts, but this one takes the cake. This year we decided to share Belize with some friend who've never been. So we needed a big place. We had 10 on our trip, and this property was plenty big for that. There was room for us to be together for Meals & group times, but also enough room to have some solo time & privacy to contemplate the beauty of the view. Unlike some properties that look nice in the pictures, but when you get there you find a number of flaws & lack of general upkeep, this home was well cared for and almost everything worked -- A/C, dishwasher, hot water, wifi, laundry.... I'd say the pool at the main entrance & deck was the most popular asset & centerpiece of the home. It's positioned so you can lay out in the full sun if you want more sun, or can still sit in the shade of the deck and enjoy the breeze by the pool. We spent countless hours swimming & floating. It's a really deep pool. The house included almost anything you'd need to have fun. There were kayaks, snorkel gear, bbq grill, volleyball, horse shoes, bonfire pit, corn hole.... The home owner - Patrick was great in answering our preliminary questions & helping make our preliminary plans. From there, the house Manager - Michael was excellent in meeting our group at our arrival/ departure points & times. Some of us flew in, some on the ferry.... He organized our Golf Cart rentals, some outings (fishing / snorkling), and some home made Belizean style meals at the house. In addition to Pat & Mike's help, the house came with a young live-in couple who serve as housekeepers. A big 'hats off' to Jose & Theresa. They were lovely and attentive to anything we needed at any time. As you can imagine with 5 couples there were some who needed / wanted help & some who were more self-sufficient. They were accommodating to every style. For those who wanted their luggage carried to/from their room, needed something from the store, needed more towels... they were right there. For those who just wanted to kick back, they were invisible. They kept the property immaculate and kept the grounds well manicured. Theresa also served as a Belizean Chef who prepared several meals for our group. They were excellent dishes & authentic Belizean style. We will definitely come here again!

I came along with 9 friends for my bachelorette party. It was such a great time. The views and property are wonderful. The room on the main floor is on the smaller side. And there’s one room that’s a separate suite on the downstairs level of the house, which was very spacious. The ride into town is about 30 minutes and a golf cart is needed. Mike, an employee for the property is a little pushy to go with booking things through him over other vendors. Beware getting groceries through him. We ordered a few things from him on the first day and he waited until we were at the airport to collect money from us and couldn’t provide itemized receipts. The receipts he provided seemed like they were for someone else and he never produced the third receipt.. We ordered Orange juice, Cranberry juice, Hot Cheetos, Plain potato chips, water, Pineapple, Sparkling water and Ice. That somehow tallied to $200 US. We went to the store other days ourselves and nothing was that high of a cost. So something was off there, but we were literally about to board our flight and had no time to dispute. Even the airport employees said he was getting over on us. I would recommend shopping for yourself so you know the exact cost and don’t get taken advantage of. Other than that the other employees are very sweet and helpful.

A wonderful week in Belize at Villa Aurora! Mike was awesome, answering all of our questions prior to arrival, stocking the house with groceries, setting up snorkeling, fishing, moonlight cruise, and massages at the house. Theresa and Jose were very attentive as well! Theresa cooked some great meals for us and Jose checked in regularly to see what we needed. A great getaway!

Just left after a fabulous week at Villa Aurora! The house is even better in person than it looks in the photos. Mike, the property manager, did a great job communicating with me before we arrived and while we were there! Plus he was a great resource for golf car rentals, restaurant reservations, etc. But the highlight was Jose & Teresa! Jose helped with fishing and bonfires and Teresa is an amazing cook! Our breakfasts were perfect and our dinners at the house were better than the ones we had at restaurants! All in all a perfect week - thank you all!

The whole experience was incredible, from the communication, private chef, and onsite house keeping to Mike the house manager who ensured we were always taken care of. Hands down one of the best trips ever! Thanks again Mike at team!

We were blown away by the atmosphere of the property, the pictures really undersell how gorgeous the grounds are. Our family was staying there and hosting our wedding at Villa Aurora. The house staff were phenomenal and went beyond our expectations in helping get everything ready. They also made every non-wedding day special. Further, Mike was as patient as a saint in everything we threw at him. He helped with arranging many aspects of the trip and worked tirelessly with us as plans changed, and they changed a lot! Everything was incredible and we can't recommend Villa Aurora enough! We are overwhelmed with gratitude and can't wait to return.

Villa Aurora was a perfect place to get our family together to celebrate Christmas. The property is fabulous, spacious, private, clean and inviting. Jose and Therese were always available for anything we needed (including teaching us how to fish!), and they made us some delicious meals. Mike helped with all of our travel, grocery shopping, and excursion plans and did a fantastic job of it. He even saved us when we ran out of gas in the golf cart he rented for us. I hope that we get a chance to go back someday, it's definitely a slice of paradise.

The property was just as advertised and honestly exceeded our expectations. Michael, the property manager, was eager to help us with everything and more! Jose and his wife, who started the day before we came, were just awesome! He seemed to know the property already and catered to us willingly. They cooked for us two nights and the food was out of this world! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering it. We are not much on returning to places we have been but all 8 of our party concluded that this one could be an exception.

This place was a dream! The house was beautiful and the staff was really attentive. The cooks were our favorite! They made the best food and even helped serve everyone. The kids loved the horse shoes and Volleyball court.
