We booked this house for a bachelorette party and I have to say it’s by far been the best property rental experience I’ve ever had. For starters, Joel, the host was very communicative & went above and beyond to provide us with amazing customer service. I had lots of questions for him leading up to our stay in regards to COVID testing, a home chef, things to do around the area and he went out of his way to help organize everything. It made this trip and experience so incredible and allowed us to fully enjoy our time. The house is so beautiful and spacious and beyond clean. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms a lot a lot of natural light. The views were amazing and overlooked the whole city. We felt extremely safe having security check us in an out of the community. Joel was also super helpful and answered each of my questions within a matter of minutes in regards to how to get a taxi service and never seemed annoyed with all the obvious questions. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Can't find much to improve with this house. What makes the experience well worth it is working with Joel on our stay. Traveling with covid can be stressful and changes are always happening, however for us Joel was super flexible and understanding of our situation. Super cool host which making coming back an easy decision.

Great pad, perfect location at a perfect destination. The property owner and manager were super responsive to our questions and requests. Very appreciative of the opportunity to stay here.

House and grounds were very nice. Services by private chef Lupita and her staff were outstanding. Had a couple of issues. Had trouble reaching the security gate from the house phone. Had a neighbor who was less then pleasant and difficult. Complained if transportation parked for more then 2 minutes and had construction workers jack hammering rock at 7 am over 2 days. Hopefully, that is a temporary issue.

Los Geckos worked out great for our group of 8 (2 families—four adults and four teenagers). The property is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The Pedregal community is quiet and safe. We enjoyed the easy walk into town. We walked to dinner every night and jumped in a cab for the return trip. Joel was very helpful and always responded quickly. The information packet he provided about the villa and surrounding area was very thorough and helpful. We used several of the services he recommended and we were very pleased. The property manager was also very responsive when we had a question during our stay. I would definitely stay at Los Geckos again.

We loved the house and hope to stay here again. Be sure to hire the Chef services, Chef Lupita prepared an amazing dinner and wonderful breakfast for our group.

Had a good stay at Villa Los Geckos. The house is as advertised -- plenty of room, good spaces inside and out, great views from the house and up above at the pool. Pool is very small (about 12 feet x 12 feet) so not exactly for laps, but fit our needs and has a nice deck around it and is as pictured in the listing. Good location, 10 minute walk downhill to the edge of town and another 5-10 minutes to the main part of town and marina. That uphill walk home is a tough one though! All in all, glad we chose it.

The place was great! With all of the positive reviews we knew we were getting a great place, but after all of the excellent recommendations (chef and boat cruise) by Joel, we definitely want give Joel’s place a 5 star review. Plenty of space for all of the girls who stayed for our friend’s Bachelorette party and everyone was highly impressed.

The whole experience was amazing! Joel was super helpful in setting up the welcome package with the chef! The whole house was beautiful and had everything we needed! Joel was always very responsive and helpful with everything. I would love to come back and stay at this house again! Perfect for a bachelorette party or any other large group!

Everything about our stay at Villa Los Geckos exceeded expectations! The communication with Joel and his team prior to our arrival was more than adequate, making it very easy to relax and enjoy the gorgeous property! Location was perfect with stunning views from the hill and a fairly easy walk into town. Ammenties and added recommendations were nothing short of plentiful. Highly recommend this Villa!

This was a beautiful property with plenty of space to spread out to. Well cared for and clean. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful ... Joel is great and the transportation people at Victors Cabo were equally as nice and efficient. We had 4 couples there for 10-days. If I had to push myself to bring out negatives, I'd say the pool was way too small and 1 bedroom had no closet which made it a bit awkward. Thank you for a great time Joel!

The villa is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. We stayed here for my sister's bach and loved every moment of our trip. The villa has everything you could ask for in a vacation accommodation and we took advantage of the airport transfer, grocery delivery and snorkel recommendations Joel made! We walked to town during the day and utilized a cab during the evening. Joel was also super responsive and attentive prior to our arrival. Would come back here and stay in this beautiful home again!!

The home is the perfect location. Quiet evenings on the 2 terraces but just a quick walk to the action and fun of Cabo! Joel was a great host and His recommendations for a chef and transportation service was also great! My family stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a wonderful time!

Five friends and I stayed at Joel's house for a 40th birthday weekend. It was the perfect size house because we each had a bed. The house is very well appointed with everything you need in the kitchens and bathrooms. The AC and the wifi worked perfectly. It had a great view of downtown and the water, especially from the upstairs master balcony. The pool area was a great spot to cool off. You could easily walk into town, but walking back was a bit much, especially in the hot, humid weather we were experiencing. Overall, I thought Villa Los Geckos was a great house, and look forward to staying there again!

The house was perfect. It was spacious and all the rooms were very clean. Plenty of towels and the pool was great. We didn’t have any issues at all during our stay. One bit of advise I can provide is don’t get a taxi at the entrance of Pedregal or in front of the Marina as the green taxis have essentially formed a union and all will quote you very expensive prices just to drive you up the hill to your villa because they know it’s Pedregal and the hill is fairly steep(USD $15-$20 for a 2 min ride). If you are an active person then you will probably enjoy the climb as I did but if you don’t want to be taken advantage of walk into town after going to the Marina and get a cab their as it will be much more affordable. Also we employed the services are Chef Charly and he is a great chef. Everything was top notch. We chose to have him prepare lunch and dinner for us on the day that we arrived. The meals were great and even for 6 people it was too much food so if I was to do it again I would select breakfast and then dinner to give us a chance to get hungry again. But the food was simply amazing. Their is also a small little restaurant in town called th crazy lobster. We came up on it by chance and the food was inexpensive but good and the drinks were really cheap as well. $3 tequila shots and all the house drinks are 2 for 1. I ordered the lobster tacos and added a lobster tail and it was only $17. The lobster tail was huge and perfectly prepared. I would definitely go there again. Lastly, make a quick run to Walmart or La Comer when you arrive. We were there for 5 days and we went to La Comer purchased lots of stuff and thought we would never eat it all and then we ended up back at Walmart after a few days. The stores are really close and the prices are much cheaper than in the states. Final note: the ceviche at La Comer is awesome so get more than you think you will eat because one everyone’s tastes it they will make it disappear.

We really enjoyed our stay at villa de los geckos! House was in a great neighborhood and perfect location to downtown/harbor. Property Management was extremely responsive with an incident we had upon arrival. Pool is smaller in real life than appears in picture. Highly recommend this property.

We had a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party. It's about a 10 min walk downtown from the house, a little longer back since it's a steep hill. The house is awesome and super accommodating. The owner is super responsive and the house has all the information you need for cabs, where to go, etc. Highly recommend staying at Los Geckos!

I stayed here with a group of guys for my Bachelor party. The house was a great location and had great views! We were all comfortable and enjoyed the house! The Gate security are nice and seem attentive so there were no security concerns at all. The house is really close and we walked to and from almost everywhere! we only took a taxi once due to being hungover :). I highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Our family of 6 and 2 friends had the best time in Cabo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Geckos. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We took Joel's advise and had a shopping service pre-stock the villa for our arrival. I can't speak highly enough about their service and professionalism. The villa was to close to the marina & tons of restaurants. We also enjoyed some fantastic meals in the villa and grilled our steaks on the new gas grill. We can't wait to return :)
