We have been visiting "our cabin" for many years and are always very pleased. The owner/host is so great. If we have questions or needs, he responds immediately.
The cabin is situated on a quiet road close to town. We have the beauty of privacy and are minutes from restaurants and activities in both Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

We had a great trip staying in this cabin. It is private and quiet. But close to everything you could need including chimney rock. And our four legged baby was welcome and had a blast too!

Property is exactly as described. I stayed here with my son for the weekend and we were both very comfortable with all of the amenities that we could’ve wanted. The drive was an easy one, especially for being in the mountains, and it’s relatively close to several activities, grocery stores, and restaurants.

Beautiful home, it had everything we needed. I’m sure the picture windows that face the deck will be cleaned this spring and the sliding door to the deck will need to be looked at it don’t open very easy. Had a great stay

We had an event at Chimney Rock State Park. This house was the perfect location. Just minutes to the park entrance and had a great view. Enjoyed our stay

This was our second stay at the cabin and it did not disappoint. We love the privacy of the location, while offering quick access to the lake and meanderings around Chimney Rock. Bob is a great host and strives to ensure that guests have a good experience.

Cabin was private and very close to Chimney Rock. We enjoyed how quiet it was. Our only complaint is the mattress for each bed was uncomfortable. It’s important to rest well with the hiking involved when visiting the mountains and waterfalls… we struggled to sleep. New mattresses and this spot is sweet!

This beautiful cabin is close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, yet secluded from any noise or distractions. This property is perfect for a great get-away from it all.

Cute cabin but needs some TLC to be even better. Great location and pretty Mountain View. If windows had been clean it would have been great to see out from inside. Mattress and pillows downstairs were not comfortable and need to be replaced. A good cleaning overall is needed! We still enjoyed staying for one night along with our dog.

Property need to have a complete cleaning, meaning ceiling fans need major dusting and the beautiful window's need to be clened big time. Bed covers holds alot of dust also .

Enjoyed our stay so much! A sweet little cabin with everything we could need. Before our stay, I asked Bob if the tub had grab bars, and he said there would be by the time we arrived. True to his word, they were there. Thank you Bob!

We really liked the spacious cabin. It was clean and we had plenty of space. It was also nice that it was close to all the places we visit. We've stayed at a nearby cabin before and live the quiet location. We highly recommend this cabin and will be looking forward to next year's stay.

My daughter and I met for a visit at Chimney Rock. The cabin is beautiful and cozy, and we made ourselves right at home. We loved relaxing on the deck and having a glass of wine. We had such a fun visit and climbed the 500 steps to the top of Chimney Rock with our 2 dogs and walked the trail to the waterfall! There were so many wonderful restaurants along the riverfront and the stores were fun to pop into. So many memories were made. Thank you! I can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The couches were very low and soft which made it difficult to go from sitting to standing if you are older but all in all the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Would stay there again!!

We enjoyed our brief stay in this cute cabin. It was easily accessible, but located in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin was clean and communication was excellent: we received a notification ahead of time with the lock code, and a second update when the cabin was ready ahead of our scheduled check-in time. The list of check-out requests was conveniently posted right next to the door, and was very reasonable. The location was convenient to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Tryon, but still managed to feel like it was away from it all. Overall, it was a very good stay.

We had a great time at Lake Lure. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed to cook, nice rooms and a wonderful living room to play games/watch TV together.
One thing that always stands out is water pressure and water temperature. This cabin provided perfect showers! Couldn’t say enough about that.
Overall, it’s in a great location and was easy to find. Has a place for two parking spots, big front deck area, an upstairs room with an additional loft area. Will be coming back!
