Our entire party (adults/teen) loved the house. Very nicely taken care of house. The kitchen accommodated a lot of cooking and baking. The common space was comfortable for lounging. We loved the combination of the covered and uncovered deck where we spend a lot of our time when not on the beach. Great location on the beach. Nice to have access to the pier, great walks (can reach Fort Macon State Park and even some restaurants by foot). Close to restaurants, Morehead city, aquarium, etc... Great to have access to chairs, bogie boards, bikes. (There is a kayak which we did not use.) We hope to return. The owner was very responsive.

Perfect location, close to restaurants and pier, great ocean view and access, and beautifully decorated. GREAT spot to spend our vacation!

The house is wonderful on all levels. Well equipped, beautifully decorated and offering amazing ocean views and access. Steps from the beach, and a short walk or drive from great restaurants and shopping, life is good and easy while holidaying at the Paxton Cottage. The oceanfront porch offers a comfy spot to wave watch, read a book or just relax and the spacious outdoor shower is such a great feature to start and end each day. The owners are responsive and helpful and the guide book at the house is full of great info-we're foodies and their recommendations were all spot on. We do look forward to our next visit to AB and Paxton Cottage!

Our family felt right at home in your beautiful home. So many details were taken care of! We also enjoyed the rocking chairs for reading and long talks on the deck. Loved the outdoor shower and use of beach chairs and umbrella! Thank you for helping our family have a memorable vacation!
