Broken washer and dryer, power outlets not working, very dusty/dirty, very outdated

This home is very well kept and had everything we needed. Each couple had their own bathroom and a comfortable bed. Swam off the dock and relaxed in the floats that were provided. Nice getaway.

kitchen was very small and dated oven would not hold a cookie sheet and did not seal correctly and took forever to cook our dinner, the stove top did not heat properly and the house is much smaller than picture make it appear, Electric fireplace did not help warm the house. It was clean and we enjoy ourselves no matter where we go. we will rent from VRBO again but not this house. Just did not like how the picture made it look much newer and larger than it was than it was.

Property was great. Had 6 adults and 6 kids, 3 total families. Fire pit wasn’t close to the house unfortunately. Hot tub was great, just need to be careful to not let the kids splash water outside on the concrete during the winter. One bedroom was much colder than the others.

We had a horrific stay at this property. We expect to have this stay escalated and to have someone contact me ASAP. I arrived at the property at the shortly before the check in time. There were so many leaves covering the ground it was dangerous to drive up the narrow driveway because I was unable to gauge the property vrs driveway. Upon entry into the home the horrendous smell of something dead was so bad we didn’t even want to enter the property. We did discover 1 dead mouse in one bedroom. We immediately removed from the home and opened doors to air the stench while we attempted to inspect the remainder of the property. Unfortunately we could not locate anything else, however we could not get the smell out of the property. I called and they sent Mainteance out which was useless. The man that showed up said he started his job 2 weeks ago and had not yet been to this property. He said this was a “cleaning” contractor issue. He did walk around and see if he could locate anything else dead since the smell was over bearing. He also did not find anything. He told me the best thing he could do is have the cleaner deliver air fresheners the next morning. A woman arrived Saturday morning at 930 am with dollar store air fresheners. The carpet in the bedroom should have been cleaned and they should have cleaned the property to relive the smell Why wasn’t the property inspected before our arrival? When was the last time the property was cleaned? This is absolutely unacceptable to have ruined a weekend stay smelling a dead animal for 2 days. Furthermore to do nothing to correct the problem. We are demanding a full refunded as we were all sick to our stomach and could not enjoy our stay. We arrived home to everything carrying that smell. I expect a response within 24 hrs

feels like the outdoor comes in. It's a peaceful space that can be transported into whatever yoi can imgaine. Thanks for the stay
