This home was the perfect size for our big family gathering. There was plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed eating and playing games together at the extra large dining table. We also loved the double wide deck with the option of open air or roofed and screened in. We took full advantage of the fire pit too! The one thing that would improve the stay would be to upgrade the mattresses, especially the beds downstairs. Overall, however, we loved the view of the lake and the close proximity to town for groceries and fun places to explore like Eureka Springs. We would certainly visit again!

We had a large family group that stayed during fall break. We took kayaks and utilized the boat ramp right by the house for fishing and taking pictures on the water. It was a quiet neighborhood and we absolutely loved the deck overlooking the lake and the screened in porch. The house was very clean and the owner was very nice and great to work with. The mattresses could use a little update and the TVs in some of the down stairs bedrooms didn’t really work but other than that it was a really great property and we would definitely come back. It was a great location because part of our group visited Branson about 50 minutes away and made several trips to roaring river that was only around 20 minutes away. This was a great vacation!!!!

Very nice place! The only thing that would be better is if there was a place to leave the boat at a dock there instead of having to take it out of the water everyday.

Large home on the lake with easy access to the water for boating. Our grandchildren enjoyed throwing rocks in the water and collecting driftwood for the fire pit. The house provided comfortable arrangements for our 4 adult couples and 10 children under 13yrs. Spacious and fairly childproof (some tchotchkes had to be put out of reach of the smaller ones) allowing children space for play with hurting themselves or damaging property. (We had lots of indoor time due to several rainy days). Access was easy from the provided parking; we were able to get four mini-vans./suvs in the driveway about 20 feet from the front door. The neighborhood was very quiet during our stay. The house was spotless with ample linen, clean sheets and comfortable beds. Large appliances (oven-cooktop, microwave, washer, dryer and 2 refrigerator/freezers) more than met our needs. A toaster and 2 coffee pots were also provided. Lots of TVs, but no instructions were found on using the systems; we didn't try very hard to make them work. That didn't matter for our group, but could be an issue for others. I suspect the host would have provided help if necessary; she was very responsive to our messaging through the VRBO system. Check-in and check out instructions were timely and simple. We would definitely consider this property for a return visit. While the cost might seem high, divided among five families (would we have wanted to do that) it's a good price. We highly recommend this property and host.

This property is spectacular! Eleven women ranging in age from 44-65 enjoyed our girl's weekend and all of us want to rent this property for family vacations. The view from the deck is beautiful and serene. Indoor and outdoor spaces have room for everyone to enjoy. Every aspect of the property was clean and well maintained. For boat owners, the boat ramp is in the backyard. Boat slips are on the West side of the house. For families who want to explore the area, it is centrally located for hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Shopping and entertainment in Branson, MO or Eureka Springs, AR is within a 30-minute drive. Exploring the incredible Dogwood Canyon is a 10-minute drive--tip is to purchase your general admission tickets and the Tram Tour ticket online and in advance because the tram tour sells out quickly. We also went horseback riding at Dogwood. The price is reasonable and the countryside is beautiful. The restaurant at Dogwood Canyon has indoor or outdoor seating with an incredible view of a waterfall--just one of the many. Lastly, if you don't want to leave the property, it is perfect for relaxing--especially in the screened in deck or on the outdoor deck. Roasting hot dogs and making smores around the fire pit is fun but it's also great for relaxing around, telling stories, and consuming beverages of your choice. I know I am gushing over this place but I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's from Colorado to Florida and I fell in love with this property and the places to visit in the area.

We had our early family Thanksgiving here. It was great, plenty of room for everyone. We hope to be back in the warmer seasons to be able to enjoy the water. Overall we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay!!

The rental process was easy and went smoothly.

We loved this house and the view! However, we saw several mice during our stay and found mice droppings and hair in some of the sheets upon arrival. Other than cleanliness, this property was great! We enjoyed being able to take our boat straight down to the boat ramp!

We loved our stay at this facility. Kitchen is surprisingly equipped with everything you need. Beautiful view of the Lake. Will definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful view of the lake from the large desk, great place to relax or socialize. Disappointed we had no dock for swimming, or place to dock the boat & wave runner. We had to use shell knob's public boat ramp dock to get my 80 yr old father into the boat. The boat ramp was just below the property which was convenient. The fishermen in the family enjoyed the lake and caught a few. The lake water was a perfect temperature for swimming, tubing, knee boarding, paddle board, kayak etc... The lake home was spacious and comfortable, cute nautical theme décor. My family made memories that will last a life time! Thank you for sharing your Lake home!

Beautiful home, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. 6 adults in our party, plenty of room. Outside area (screened in porch and large deck) was our go-to for ‘happy hour’ and conversations. Firepit was also very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Shell Knob! The layout of the house suited our group of 9 with space and bedding to spare! The view of the lake is amazing!!

The location is perfect in more than one way. Access to the lake with your boat right at backdoor. Distance to Branson or Eureka Springs makes either one an enjoyable day trip. Lastly, if you just want to sit on deck or screened porch you have an excellent view. Wendy was prompt to answer any questions we had and house was perfectly stocked with items listed. Nice, large house in great condition with roomy deck. Great views--just right for family vacation. Things owner needs to know about: house was cleaned well except infant booster seat, swing, etc had sticky stuff on them; 17 in our party but only had bed linens for 12--I paid a premium for my group size but felt nothing extra was provided for that fee.

This was a great property to use for our large family get together. Even with the deck right outside the back porch, it was a quiet get away. We had no issue with large amounts of traffic or any safety concerns for the children. Other than some tuffs of black hair rolling around the house and the basement walkout door being difficult for some to open, we enjoyed our stay and liked the property very much. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a large family getaway. We would come back here again if we do it again

We were looking for a place on the lake that was a bit less crowded than some parts of the lake. This was a perfect spot, in a quiet cove, just a short distance from the shell knob business area. The house was great and accommodated out whole group comfortably. I would definitely book again for a large group.

We had a lot of fun in this beautiful home! The weather didn’t cooperate, but the downstairs living area was a perfect escape for the kids while the adults played board games upstairs.

We had a great time. The views of the lake are great. Plenty of room for my entire family. There were 9 of us all together. Really a great place to stay.

We rented this house for our team celebration. We had 10 adults and there was plenty of room for socializing and eating for everyone. The bunk bed and twin beds are better suited for kids than adults but they work. The location on the lake is great! Secluded and peaceful! Highly recommend!

This place was great. Excellent view. Super clean and everything was updated. Tons of room and area to roam in the house. I highly recommend!!

Our stay at Wendy's house was great overall. It was much larger than expected and had the basic amenities (bath towels, linens) but no toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags so be sure to bring your own. Wendy was wonderful to communicate with!

The house was very clean, spacious and allowed plenty of space for the kids to play and adults to have their space. Location to the lake was great.

This house has an amazing location and is so peaceful. We enjoyed many meals and coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Wendy was very responsive with communications. We will definitely look to stay again.

This home was an excellent choice for our annual multi-family vacation to TRL! The location to easily putting boats and watercraft in and out of the water was convenient and the lake view from the house was exceptional and aided in our relaxation. We loved that the kitchen was so appropriately stocked to accommodate preparation of big family dinners! Thank you Wendy for sharing your family home with us to spend some much needed time with our family!!!!

Great location, easy to communicate with Wendy and spacious. Fireworks over the lake were outstanding. Definitely will return.

Had a group of 14. Great house for larger groups. Enough room for 3 families to spend time together and then have their own space when needed. The public boat ramp out back does get busy at times.
