This was the best location for our annual friends weekend getaway! The house was beautiful, in a stunning location and very well appointed. Though we didn’t use all the toys I could see that it would be great for a young family. We took advantage of the decks and beach and just enjoyed the beautiful view! We had most meals at home and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Thanks so much for a memorable weekend!

We have stayed at various beach houses in Oxnard for the last 20+ years and this was the most beautiful, well-appointed home. The layout is very comfortable and all the amenities were impressive. We never needed to contact the owner but I was confident that she would be responsive. We are still planning next year’s vacation and I hope we can return to this property.

As a senior citizen I really appreciate the elevator. On the beach with beautiful sunsets. House has enough bedrooms and baths to handle a family of 10. Had everything we needed for a happy visit.

I can’t say enough about this home. This was our third year coming and we plan on coming again next year. It is the very best vacation rental available in the area. The beach is perfect. The house is clean, stocked, and you immediately feel like home when you walk in. The view takes my breath away every morning. Worth every dollar.

Home is exceptionally equipped like a four star hotel. It is clean, near to the ocean and a fun location. The host Ellen is wonderful and responsive. Will stay again.

This is our 5th year staying at Ellen’s. The house is perfectly situated on the beach with a lifeguard station nearby. The view is spectacular and Ellen’s attention to detail never ceases to amaze us. The house is simply perfect. This year the Grandsons learned to surf so will be booking again if space is available.

Had two families there. Plenty of room to feel comfortable no matter where you were at in the house. Plenty of toys, bikes, etc. to keep your party busy. Kids enjoyed the surround sound to play music. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of places to golf within 30 minutes of house. Owner of the house responds quickly if anything is needed.

I can honestly say that we just concluded the best family vacation we’ve ever had, and it was all because of Ellen and her incredible beach house. To start, Ellen is one of the most gracious and accommodating hosts I have ever interacted with on VRBO. She was responsive, willing to accommodate our requests whenever they were made, and was just so kind in all her communication. Her home is spectacular in every way—the house is literally on the most beautiful beach, decorated to perfection, with the most comfortable rooms, and an endless supply of entertainment. The wetsuits, boogie boards, kayaks, bikes, beach games and toys, multiple large screen TVs, and whole home stereo system was enjoyed by every member of my family. The view from the dining room table is spectacular! Ellen’s home and her amazing hosting gave us a slice of heaven for 3 days, and we are all so grateful to her! We hope to make it an annual family trip! Thank you Ellen!!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home. Ellen, your place is so very special. It has an aura about it that you feel the moment you walk in. Besides being gorgeous and filled with conscientious thoughtful amenities, it is warm and welcoming in the most lovely way. We can’t wait to come back. This was my 2nd stay at this gorgeous property and already I can't wait to return. The house is clean, beautifully decorated, and so much thought has been put into providing all the little amenities that might be needed. Communication with the property manager is prompt and professional. She's kind and thorough. It's a giant house on a small strip of private paradise and truly my dream home! I can't recommend it enough!

Vacations don’t get any better! The house is fabulous, the beach is just steps away and the host helpful and kind.

Snowed every day except Thursday. Conditions were exceptional. Condo was roomy and suited my wife and I and a friend to a tee!

The house in beautiful and the beach was perfect. We saw porpoises from the dining room window.... Good food is a short drive around the marina. This was a gathering of my adult children and we had a wonderful time.

We completely enjoyed our long weekend at the beach. The house was lovely....very nicely decorated, good location and well stocked. Communication with owner was prompt and very helpful. We will look forward to returning to this house in the future.

This home is fabulous! Great location and it has everything you need.

Very nice place. Friends and I were very comfortable there. Would suggest this quiet, clean home to friends and family. Had a hard time contacting Ellen to update her on few things she may want to address, minor stuff. All in all, hope to have the chance to return around the same time next year.

We have stayed here a few times and have always found the owner to be responsive and the house to be immaculate. This house has become my family's happy place, where we've made many memories. I'm grateful when we're able to rent it!

This was our second time renting this house. It’s such a great home for a group. And very clean. Ellen is responsive and easy to communicate with. Watch out for rip tides on the beach, but it’s a great spot!

We are two families who get together every year pre-holiday and Ellen's home has become our home away from home. Amenities as always are plentiful and thoughtfully supplied. Ellen could not be a more gracious host. As our families have grown in number with grandkids we have had to also rent a second house nearby but nothing compares to this wonderful home. We love everything about this beautiful beach home on the sand! It’s our second time staying and we were thrilled just like last year. Ellen is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. If you love the ocean and quiet pristine beaches, this house is all you could ever want. The kitchen is awesome! We cooked every night and had such a great time enjoying the amazing view while doing so. The master suite is heaven on Earth and has the most stunning ocean views. The elevator allows our mom to enjoy every floor with ease and really makes this home accessible to everyone. I’m thankful to have found such a wonderful space and hope to enjoy family time every year. This community and the gorgeous beaches are really a hidden gem. Sea lions are a short walk up the strand and we were there during the annual holiday lights boat parade. I can’t recommend this property enough! We can’t wait to come back:)

This property is well kept and provides beautiful views of the beach. Our family loves staying here. If we need to ask the owner any questions, she always replies quickly. I would highly recommend staying here.

This house is the best there is. The views are fantastic. The house is furnished so beautifully & there are many Beach toys to enjoy. Never need to leave when you are there. And management is extremely easy to deal with. Will stay there again.

You are immediately struck with the beauty of the location. Located directly on the beach. The pictures do not do justice to how amazing this property is. Everything listed is as good in person if not better. Easily fit 10 of us. Super clean. Everything you could want for a beach getaway, the house provided. Ellen was super communicative and it was all made easy for us. So grateful for this house, opportunity, and space. Could not recommend it enough!!!

This amazing property checked all the boxes for our family weekend! The location and view are awesome! Perfect size home, so much space for everyone, perfectly stocked with towels, spices, fridge space, garage full of fun activities! Not too far of a drive for our nephews wedding and lovely views for our 25th wedding anniversary! Hope we can make a return trip sometime! XOXO

This was our second year at this house, and it did not disappoint. We really enjoy the space, although we’re disappointed with the dismissed view from the dredging pipe that went across the beach. Other than that, great weekend!
