We had perfect weather and was able to enjoy the beach during the day and walk to the restaurants at night. The house is great! Plenty of space. It needs some updating but other than that wonderful!

Since there are several common areas we never felt like we were crowded and could have a place to be alone if we wanted. Great location -- it's in a very quiet part of the front beach and even at high tide there was plenty of beach area. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware and serving pieces and there are two refrigerators. There was ample, comfortable seating in both the living areas and kitchen table. Seating outside was adequate for eight of us. There are several restaurants within walking distance which is great because parking in the area is limited. This is not a fancy, modern house, but from our standpoint we weren't looking for that -- it was comfortable, clean and offered everything we needed.

The house was clean, well stocked kitchen, and all the bedrooms met our needs. The bathrooms aren't recently updated (yes there is a green soaker tub), they are clean and well laid out with the bed room layouts. The staff at Island Realty was wonderful to work with in finding a house that met our needs after a VRBO rental fell through at the last minute.

From the layout and space of the home to its proximity nestled mere feet from the Atlantic, this home blessed our family with memories if a lifetime. This home literally checks every box if you are looking for an oceanfront getaway with a large family.

House is large and spacious and has wonderful oceanfront views from nearly every window. It is in need of some repairs and general maintenance and could use some upgrades as well, but this didn’t affect our stay at all. The house is just far enough up from the “town” section of the island to enjoy a quiet atmosphere, but be aware you do hear the music from The Windjammer in the evenings. All in all though a nice comfortable stay.
