Loved our stay! Clean, comfortable and cozy.

We had a wonderful time in Austin. Kay was wonderful and helped us with some logistics for our stay. The property was in a great location too. We felt right at home and the property had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Everything was as described, clean and fully equipped. We arrived late but host was there to meet us. Location was great, bus stops 5mins walk. Would highly recommend for couples.

I totally enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book again - great host, accommodation on a quiet street but with access to all the wonderful trails, restaurants and things Austin has to offer.

My wife and I spent a long weekend here for our 10 year anniversary. The place immaculate and was walking distance to just about anything you'd want. Highly recommend!

There is so much to like about this property. The host is great and very helpful. The location to Barton and Zilker is excellent, yet it still in a quiet neighborhood. You can tell this property is well taken care of and has everything a couple would need.

La Serena is everything as advertised!! Kay is an amazing host and there for your every need. The neighborhood was amazing and quiet. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We will definitely stay at La Serena in the future.

The unit was amazing and exactly what I needed for my stay. The unit gets a great amount of sunlight and you can tell that a lot of thought was put in when the unit was built. The screened in balcony was amazing to sit and relax in when having morning coffee and the backyard it beautiful. There is a ton of privacy from the main house and plenty of curtains/blinds for privacy from neighbors. Kay was an amazing hostess. She was so helpful pointing out a ton of features that came in handy for us such as the cart and laundry/storage unit available to guests. This was so amazing as we were in town for a wedding and had boxes and boxes of decorations that we needed to store for the weekend. I also ended up forgetting an item after leaving and Kay texted me quickly so that I was able to retrieve it before leaving town.

This was my second time staying at Kay's place and it was just as delightful as the first time. It's a lovely space and I plan to book again next time I'm in town!

I travel a lot for work and this was literally one of the best properties and owners that I have ever encountered. The accommodations are just adorable and situated in an amazing neighborhood. Kay is absolutely wonderful and made sure everything went super smooth. We will definitely be back again!

Our stay at La Serena was fantastic. Kay is a superb host, and very communicative. She was very accommodating with check in/check out times, and made us feel safe and well cared for. The property is a gem and well appointed in a great setting. The property is walkable to Barton Springs pool and a couple restaurants. Overall, will look to stay at La Serena again next time I’m in town! Thank you Kay for a wonderful experience.

Such a great place, near downtown and great music and entertainment venues. The house, or apartment itself is very modern and clean. Very comfortable, and Kay, the owner, was great to deal with. For a couple looking to get away for a nice, easy, relaxing stay, this is the place!!

Kay’s home was amazing, brand new and beyond clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable and spacious for my fiancé and I. Kay was an amazing host with great communication and also very accommodating. The property was very quiet but also a very short walk or drive to local attractions which was amazing. We had an unbelievable time and stay while in Austin and hope to be back soon! Thank you Kay!!

This place was perfect. Great bright or hood, centrally located to lots of fun things to do and good restaurants. Kay was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful and accommodating. We will stay here again the next time we are in Austin!!

We stayed here for a few days while celebrating our wedding anniversary. Kay was a wonderful host, very communicative and welcoming. The unit is exactly like the pictures, if not even cuter. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee and/or night caps with very comfortable rocking chairs. The kitchen has everything you need, the bedroom is bright and comfortable. Great quiet neighborhood but just a short Uber to all the nightlife shenanigans. Ten out of ten would recommend!

Perfect place, incredible location, wonderful host, couldn’t have been better.

I can not say enough good things about this little apartment. It was perfect in every way. I wasn't sure going in since it is in the host backyard, BUT it couldn't have been better. We felt very secluded in our well-appointed treehouse. The decor was done in a way to make guests feel relaxed and welcomed. It was all updated, stylish and very clean. Our first night there, Kay answered our call when my husband had trouble getting the basketball game on the TV and she stayed on the line until it was resolved. She had pictures included on the instructions to the house and how to check in. I loved the neighborhood. We walked to Barton Springs Park, Zilker park and along the Colorado River. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to eat. The original Chuy's, Terry Black's BBQ, Baby As, Lou's just to name a few. It was so peaceful and comfortable I was able to get my writing done. When we go back to Austin we will stay there again. I highly recommend it for a place to saty for a solo trip or couple's stay.

Perfect location in a really cool neighborhood. Everything went smoothly and without issue. Amenities were nice and comfortable, and I slept like a rock every night. On top of all that, Kay is a very kind and helpful person, who has thought of everything. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful 9 days in Austin. This VRBO is in a great location. It is very well equipped and the owner was most helpful and willing to suggest local restaurants and sites to enhance our stay. If we return to Austin hopefully this special place will be available again.

Kay is the perfect host there when she is needed but never intrusive. Very happy to give local information. The apartment over the garage is very quiet (as is the AC) and perfect location for the parks , city and nearby hill country. Having stayed in many properties world wide this is one of the cleanest we have ever had the pleasure to stay in, It is well equipped, soft linens and perfect for a couple. There is nothing negative to say about it.
