Great spot. Close to everything. Beautiful accommodations. Beach a little lacking if you have young kids, but easy enough to get to great public beaches within 5 minutes. Public boat launch literally across the street.

We had the best time in Michigan. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and the host was super nice would definitely come again.

The location for the cottage was excellent. The price was also a good value for the area. Betsy was great to work with. Only negative was there is no AC. Usually not a problem for norther MI but if you get some unlucky humidity or 90 degree days it gets a little uncomfortable at night.

Property was clean and well maintained. Two full bathrooms was very nice. Close to the water and access to dock/mooring. Would visit/utilize this property again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time! The hosts are so accommodating and very friendly. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable. I would love to stay there again!

Good experience overall with friendly management. The lake is hard to beat with crystal clear water. I wish there was more of a beach for little ones to be able to walk into water, but access from the dock is good for older kids and adults. Some nights got hot without AC but property had a network of fans to make it somewhat tolerable.

Great property and location. We rented a pontoon and were able to park on the mooring system that they have set up. The owners live right across the street and we’re very friendly and hospitable.

Betsy's home was the perfect location for us to explore the Frankfort/Elberta area! The home is super clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from beautiful downtown Frankfort. We loved the open layout of the house and having a second bathroom! We were looking for a beautiful and quiet Fall Break destination and that is exactly what we found. The foliage this time of year is breathtaking and Betsy's patio has a great view of the lake and the sun on the trees across the lake at the end of the day. The house is just a few yards from the lake access so we could hear the water lapping on the rocks in the morning and at night--so peaceful! I highly recommend exploring Lake Shore Dr. to look at all the beautiful homes on Crystal Lake. Frankfort/Elberta are just 5 minutes away, Manistee is just 15-20 minutes down the road and Traverse is a 40-minute drive heading north. Sleeping Bear Dunes are just up the road. We got coffee at Petals in Frankfort every day--great coffee. Frankfort beach is great for kids or just for sight-seeing. The waves on the piers are impressive this time of year--do not recommend trying to walk the pier, though. For a beautiful sunset, head across the water to Elberta Beach. This is one of the most beautiful Michigan sunsets I have ever seen. We were able to explore the whole area in a week. Lots of trails! Betsy was wonderful! Very helpful and great communication.`I highly recommend a stay here and we are looking forward to doing this again next year!

Very nice lake view property, close to Frankfort Mi. Owner/family close by for questions or concerns & were very friendly and helpful.

Nice layout, clean, we appreciated the nice twin/full bunkbed. The access to boat mooring was awesome. We enjoyed the proximity to Frankfort (downtown + beach). Beach access to Crystal Lake wasn't ideal for swimming, but still possible.

The cottage was very nice and in a great location close to town. While the beach across the street was not great for swimming with two boats parked at the dock, there is a nice public beach just down the road and a bigger beach in nearby Beulah, as well as the Lake Michigan Beach in Frankfort. The area is great with so much to see and do. We highly recommend the Point Betsy Lighthouse and Sleeping Bear Dunes (about 30-40minutes from the cottage). We had a great stay!

Comfortable sleeping accommodations. Good quality bedding and linens. Living spaces open and bright with glimpses of Crystal lake. Prime location too!

It was a great stay! We stayed for our wedding week and it was the perfect place. Really cute spot on the lake. The only thing is the fans needed some dusting so my allergies went a little crazy. Otherwise, super clean and perfect place to spend some time during the summer or fall! Had everything you need for a stay. The toilet was also clogged upon arrival and was pretty wonky but they were over to help right away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very updated. The location was convenient for Frankfort and Beulah access. Only downside is lack of beach. There is a dock to use, but only partial sun and the beach receives no sun. So, if you want lots of time in water and sun, not ideal. But, everything else about the place was fantastic and great communication with Betsy. Thanks for the two weeks!

Clean, comfortable and updated property. Wonderful location for accessing Crystal Lake, Frankfort and everything else the area has to offer. Owned by very nice folks too. Worked out really well for our family of five.

Once again Crystal Lake did not disappoint! This lake is truly more beautiful than the ocean! Thank you Steve for helping us with our boat and making our trip even more enjoyable!

These accommodations are comfortable and convenient to the many activities in the area, and the owner is very communicative and easy to work with. I would certainly stay here again. Here are a few issues to note, however: All living accommodations are on the second level which requires carrying luggage, etc. up a flight of stairs. Might be an issue for older adults. Great place if you have a boat, but location by public access means traffic and noise, primarily on the weekend. Kitchen reasonably well equipped, but pot and pan situation could use some additions.
