This property is beautiful! Plenty of rooms for our large family. It was nice that everyone had their own place is spread out and the house was very quiet. The large yard was perfect for the kids to play outside. We loved the location being able to walk to the restaurants and Main St. A bonus was being across the street from the rec center. Marlene was very responsive and communicated well. We would highly recommend this home for a future stay!

This was one of the best equipped homes we’ve ever stayed in……there was not one thing we lacked during our stay. The home and property are beautiful, well maintained and in a great location. We had family and friends visit during our stay and the house was perfect for great get togethers.

Had the best family vacation, the house is perfect, well stocked, and quiet. The grounds are manicured, and the pond is charming. Location is perfect for a short stroll into town with top-class restaurants and amazing shopping. The beds and furnishings are picture perfect and comfortable. The owner and manager are so friendly and helpful, it truly was a trip of a lifetime; would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lullwater House. It had everything we needed - and more!

4 generations of my family gathered for vacation and this home was the perfect place to enjoy our time together. It is a stunningly beautiful, and very comfortable family home and the pride of ownership shows in every detail. There are luxury furnishings and amenities throughout this special place and plenty of spaces to gather in. The outdoor fireplace, the well appointed kitchen, the incredibly comfortable bedrooms with luxurious bedding were wonderful. There were towels and sheets sets for days and upstairs/downstairs laundry rooms for convenience. The entertainment amenities are top shelf as well. The pictures are accurate and the communication with the owner was awesome. My faves: We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit, played countless games of ping pong and corn hole, made and ate meals in the beautiful kitchen and dining room, and watched the kids fish and play all over this gorgeous property. It’s also very walkable to the sweet town of Highlands where you will find great shopping and wonderful restaurants. My grandkids loved their cousin time in the bunk room playing games and chatting, and I just loved that they said “can we stay here forever?” We could not have asked for a better stay and we hope to return again soon!

The home, it's furnishing, layout, and location are pretty unbelievable...almost hard to believe someone would allow it to be rented. Highly recommended! It could use a little handyman work, but nothing that impedes on a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lullwater House. We spent Christmas here and it was the perfect place for our large family to all be together. The location could not have been more convenient to downtown and hiking. We had a wide range of ages and everyone felt comfortable coming and going into town at their leisure. The house has everything you could ever need! They had just completed an outdoor fireplace that we really enjoyed! Marlene was a wonderful host. Very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would recommend this house to anyone!

Exquisite house, extraordinary property, beautiful in every way. A perfect setting for family and / or friends. The downtown area has delicious restaurants and charming shops and is just a few blocks away. Beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls are in the nearby area. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed at Lullwater House 2 years ago and were so happy to return. The house is beautiful and very close to downtown. It was clean and well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the house is roomy but still feels very cozy. We will definitely return.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at this home. We stayed for a week and loved the house and the property surrounding it. It even has its own waterfall on a creek! The location was perfect to enjoy town or drive to local activities. We would happily stay again.

Lullwater House is a spectacular house. Not your average vacation rental even for Highlands. Proximity to Main Street is a bonus.

We were celebrating a 70th birthday (pandemic-delayed) and a retirement. Parents, two daughters and sons-in-law, and three toddler/infant grandsons. Our expectations for this property were exceeded extraordinarily. The house interior and accommodations are first class, as sophisticated as depicted in the photos. The grounds are stupendous – your own elegant park. Grandpa taught 3-year old how to fish (sorta kinda) on the property pond. S'mores around the fire. The house is the perfect distance from town; a short walk, while set quietly apart. A great juice bar literally around the corner. We've done a number of VRBOs, but this one sets the bar!

Family came together after a year apart to celebrate a beautiful wedding. Thursday night - 1st time together in a year. Friday - Reception. Saturday - Wedding. This house is magnificent! Your family will love you even more when you surprise them with such glamorous surroundings. Enjoy!

Lullwater House was everything and more we expected when we discovered it on VRBO. The home is comfortable and elegant, the environment of the Highlands is beautiful and engaging and the town is wonderfully low key but offers upscale amenities. A very special place.

The Lullwater House is lovely - beautifully decorated and conveniently located within walking distance to Highlands shops and restaurants. George was super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed meeting our host at the beautiful J. Elliot design storefront. Our kids loved playing outside on the property and we enjoyed walking to the Blue Bike Cafe for breakfast. Plenty of space for several families and this house has all the amenities you will need for a perfect fall vacation. We also went on an amazing Waterfall Tour called World Class Waterfalls with Captain Mark that we would highly recommend. We also went on a Gem Mining tour with Justin who owns Highland Excursions and that was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend both of these tours!
