The home was beautiful, very clean, and conveniently located. The beach was a very short walk. Check in process was simple and meeting the owners was lovely.

We (myself, spouse and 17 and 14 year old teenagers) had a wonderful stay at Rick's house on the North Shore. The house has a great location for visiting all the iconic beaches on the North Shore and travelling over to the east coast to visit the Polynesian Cultural center as well as Kualoa Ranch. It is a 10 min walk to Sunset Beach and a 5 min walk to Ted's bakery. Ted's serves an informal breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are about a 10 min drive to an amazing Foodland that has great produce and very tasty Poke and Shushi. The house was very comfortable with split unit air conditioning in every room. My teenagers really liked having their own TVs in their rooms as well as a big screen TV in the living room. Rick provided everything you could possibly need, extra soap, shampoo, diving masks, beach towels and body boards. He was great at communicating and very responsive in providing information. We loved staying at Rick's house.

We loved everything about Rick’s house! Clean, comfortable beds, great location. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Rick met us at the house when we checked in and couldn’t have been nicer. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Amazing stay at Ricks place. Rick met us at the property and gave us loads of great tips about exploring the north shore. Property was fantastic for our family and in a perfect location, colour of minutes walk from the beach. Had a wonderful stay!

Spent 8 nights at this great North Shore house Rick greeted us and made checkin easy. House was very clean. Kitchen well appointed. Beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards to use. Location: 5 minute walk to a very quiet nice beach with hardly anyone on it. Just over a mile to Bonzai pipeline. 3 minute walk to Ted’s which has great breakfast and more. 2 minute walk to bike path which is 4 miles of great path for biking/walking/running. Residential neighborhood and house sits on main road of N Shore. Some noise, especially deck but bedrooms are toward back of the house. Wonderful house to stay. Couldn’t be more different than Honolulu/Waikiki.

We loved the proximity to the beach and Ted’s bakery. Every morning started with a pastry and surfer sighting. The owner was very gracious and greeted us upon arrival to ensure that we knew how to use all the facilities. Loved the personal touch. House was well stocked with supplies. Only downside was the noise: it is on a major street & one neighbor had a late night gathering one night. All in all, a great stay

Can't say enough about our stay at this lovely home on the north shore of Oahu. It was clean, spacious, inviting and very well stocked. The hosts were so wonderful they even provided fried chicken for our late arrival with three hungry little boys!

The six of us had a lovely stay at Rick's place. Check-in was super easy and everything was clean and ready for us. The house is within easy walking distance to the beach and is near wonderful places to explore like Haleiwa, Waimea Valley, and Turtle Bay.

This house is way bigger than the photos show, it was perfect for three adults and two children. Everyone had plenty of space and the house is darling. The host was easy to communicate with and you can tell has put love into the home. Close walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Fantastic vacation at a beautiful location. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. Steps away from Ted’s Bakery and Sunset Beach. Incredible and beautiful experience. Rick, the host, was quick to respond to emails and greeted us when we arrived showing us the property and answering any questions we may have had…warm and welcoming. Everything at the house was terrific. Check in was easy, the house is clean and well taken care of. Lots of extras like shampoo, soap & first aid kit provided. We loved the short walk to Ted's and the beach. We would stay here again. Thanks Rick

Everything was perfect! This was our second stay at the place, plenty of room for six adults. Rick is a wonderful host.

Property was renovated, well equipped and in a great location. Owner was very welcoming and friendly, offering assistance if needed.

House is like a 3 bedroom trailer home. Walls are thin, you can hear everything outside. Beach is a short walk through a neighborhood. Main road is right in front of the house. Over all house was good.

Great accommodations right by the beach and Ted’s Bakery. There were 7 of us so I thought we might be a little cramped but the house seems bigger than the photos depict. We all had plenty of space to ourselves. The extra futon was a great bonus and big enough for myself (short person) or my tween daughters to sleep.

Booked a last minute getaway to the North Shore seeking beach time and this house was perfect. Very comfortable, super clean, nicely furnished and supplied, and walking distance to fantastic beach. Owner very helpful and friendly. Ready to go back!

Perfect location for our surfing family. Walking distance to several surf spots and the N. Shore's infamous Ted's Bakery. Plenty of room for our group of 5 and everything you need to cook your own meals. Rick was very easy to communicate with and we had a great week.

The house is large enough for our family of 5. It does share a driveway with the home next door so you’ll need to enter slowly because they have several cars that they jockey in and out throughout the day.. The house was generally clean and there were plenty of leftover supplies from previous visitors. I love the split bedroom and I also like that each room had it’s own A/C unit so you can control the temperature in each room individually. TVs in every room including the kitchen/dining area . Walking distance to Sunset Beach as well as Ted’s bakery which is a must if you’re in the North Shore. Keyless entry was a plus as our group separated throughout our stay and no need to keep track of keys was great. The owner was responsive when we needed any information or had questions. Outside shower was great to rinse off after a day at the beach but the water is COLD. Washer and dryer are outside and that was a plus. Plenty of beach chairs/snorkeling/ umbrellas and water shoes. Overall great place to stay..

Rick is a wonderful host who personally greeted us at checkin at the property. He explained house rules. The house is clean and well equipped with everything. We did encountered problems with the refrigerator , loud noise and broken door shelves, which caused us to lose a gallon of oak milk. It was a minor inconvenience. Rick did acknowledge the problem and apologized. We stayed at the property with 6 adults for 6 nights.

The home was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The amenities would allow for an entire family to enjoy the area and beaches well. Rick was a great host and met us at the unit and gave us an overview. Check-in and out was very easy. The AC was great, especially after our bike rides. We enjoyed the beaches, food trucks, restaurants, sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the beach. In the home, there were also lots of other little stuff like sunscreen, lotion, etc. We were also welcomed with a box of Hawaiian macadamia chocolates. I ate the whole box during the week. I would stay here again. Aloha!

We enjoyed our stay. Rick was an excellent host. He was very engaging and provided great suggestions for enjoying the area. The house was a perfect place to relax. It had everything we needed.

Rick's place is the perfect home away from home, with everything you need for a small group stay. We had 6ppl, my two adult kids and their partners, and each couple had their own rooms. One room is quite small, but the living room and day bed area was very comfortable for the whole family to hang out in together. More importantly, the location is spectacular, a 5 min walk to the beach, and about 20 mins walk to Ekuhai/Pipeline. Plus, Ted's Bakery is practically next door! Mahalo, Rick :)

Rick was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions. House was well stocked with everything that you could need for a fun beach day! The house is located close to some great beaches and cute towns. Great food all around! We had an awesome time diving, snorkeling, hiking and soaking up the sun.

This house was perfect for our family of 5! We had plenty of room, it was exceptionally clean, the host was great and friendly, and it was so close to the beach and Ted’s bakery!!! The beach was so quiet, private, and beautiful! We had a lot of fun playing in the waves and visiting the friendly neighbors on the beach. We walked to Ted’s for breakfast and coffee-absolutely best place around! It was so close to all of the beaches we wanted to visit, close to our luau, and the grocery store is a short ride away. We divided our time between Wakiki and North Shore and believe me this is the place you want to stay! Thank you so much for offering your home!

Parking was tight. Neighbor was a little annoying. He had 4 vehicles. The neighbor at one time seemed like they were upset with us for not pulling in all the way in because they were washing there vehicles. I didn't like pulling in all the way because it was hard for everyone to get in and out of the vehicle. The stay was nice. Had a great time. The beach area Rick suggested was very nice.

The house was impressively clean, close to everything we wanted and needed. Will definitely be looking to book again.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Sunset Beach is a half mile walk away but there is beach access just across the road. The house is very comfortable. AC was a bonus. Bed comfy and water pressure is amazing. The front porch is a lovely place to get a break from the sun.

Rick was great, he met us when we arrived and gave us a tour and explained how everything worked and even gave us restaurant suggestions. It's an easy walk to the beach. Our group was 4 adults and 2 children.
