This was our second year in a row staying in KCB and our first time staying at Dee's place. The place was just as described .It was roomy and clean. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. We rented a boat for a few days and it was great to be able to dock right on the canal. It was great to have the bikes to use and I also used the golf clubs one day. We did not use the paddleboard or kayak since we rented the boat. We definetley will next time. We enjoy the Cabana Club and also went to Inch Beach one day. Also enjoyed the Key Colony Inn for dinner and drinks a couple times. We hope to return next year.

Our family of four loved your water front home! It was a perfect layout both inside and out. We easily moored our boat right out back and relaxed in the comfortable Adirondack chairs by the water's edge. The separate bait freezer worked great for our daily fishing trips and my daughter loved exploring the canals on your paddle board and kayaks. The living area was extremely comfortable and the beds were great after a long day of exploring the keys. We look forward to returning again soon! Thank you!

Key Colony is wonderful in the winter months for weather when we have visited. The property has many nice touches. Close to some great restaurants and Sombrero Beach, Turtle Hospital, a Publix! The membership to Cabana Club and Inch Beach make it very special. Some of nicest beaches (not rocky) to get into in the Keys. Place is not fancy, but comfy and has space for a family. Nice large island in the kitchen and bigger than I thought from the photos. Patio very nice and calming. Getting kayaks into the water is not super easy. Kayaks were water logged and heavy. Hard to lift up out of canal. Bikes could use updates like handles (some only have tape) and new seats on a couple. But a nice extra that comes with this spot. Bikes hard to get in and out of shed. Shed area was a bit crowded and could use organizing for someone that might bother, we were fine with it. We are an active family so we used bikes daily to get to beach and club. Having chair and umbrellas a coolers provided and super nice bonus. Sadly my husband broke an umbrella but we ordered a replacement- the wind just took it way one day at beach. Watch out for gusts of air. 3 dolphins swam by us first day around 8:30am in the canal. Lots of birds and fish in canals. Great views and sunsets on patio. Owner extremely nice and helpful. This is my 11th trip to the Keys. Would we return 1 yes. Tons of space and extras for a very reasonable price. Kids board games also. Suggestions just because I felt some of my clean obsessed friends would appreciate this reviewed and suggested.. Kitchen has lots of items. I would clean it up a bit and minimize hard to remember where things go. I would also organize and clean the shed and leave more laundry soap and more toilet paper for guests. No one wants to spend extra $ for that on vacation and buy 4 rolls when you might need one. Closet in 2nd bedroom is musty with the golf clubs and needs deep cleaning. The house is a duplex and you can definitely hear through the walls. We could hear the boys next door coughing and talking in the morning through the wall. We didn’t mind but if you are a light sleeper or total quiet is your goal know you share the backyard pretty much and can hear through the walls and hear your neighbors. Dee responds quickly and you can tell she cares about her guests having a great time. Overall great spot! Enjoy!

We had a fabulous time at the home. It’s quiet, clean and so close to restaurants, the beach and pool. Everyone encountered within the community was very friendly. We would absolutely come back again!!

The home was beautiful, clean and filled with everything you needed. Every room had its own air-conditioning, fan, TV for comfort. Even the bathrooms were beautiful!! The outside was amazing. Lots of chairs to sit and watch the boats, wildlife and fish. People at the cabana club were very nice and we enjoyed the food and pool while there... Dee was great in helping me with all my questions. 100% satisfied with everything.

Everything about this rental was perfect! Key Colony Beach is such a nice area to stay in, and this rental did not disappoint. We enjoyed Inch Beach, the pool at the Cabana Club, kayaking, biking, snorkeling, fishing off the dock, sunsets at the park. And the list goes on! We can’t wait to come back again. A week was not long enough!

Dee is a great owner to work with and has a great property! We have rented VRBO’s up and down the keys, and KCB is our favorite area. Friendly, quiet and with all the amenities. The Cabana Club is a must do on days that are too windy to dive.

This was our first time visiting the Keys and it did not disappoint! Dee was very responsive and an excellent host. The house had everything we could've possibly needed. It was well maintained, clean, and had great water pressure in the showers (lol- those of you with lots of hair know how important this is :)). Spent our days kayaking and fishing in the canal, riding bikes to Sunset Beach and Inch Beach, swimming at the pool and beach at Cabana Club (and enjoyed their frozen drinks!), chartering with Two Conchs Fishing, renting a private boat 3 days from Tropical Boat Rentals, snorkeling twice at Sombrero Reef, sandbars, visited the Sea Turtle Hospital, and spent a day in Key West. We had a wonderful time and have so many memories with our boys, ages 10 and 13. We'll definitely rent from Dee again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Key Colony. What a beautiful area! Dee was a joy to work with. So fun to use the back patio by the canal. We saw sharks, manatees, stingray and jellyfish. So nice to have bikes, beach chairs and umbrella to use. Inch Beach and the Cabana Club were a bonus!! Can't wait to come back!

House is in great location to enjoy all the Keys. It’s waterfront canal is excellent for wildlife viewing! Owner provided kayaks added to the adventure! House/Duplex is equipped with everything you should need to enjoy the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was clean, it had a lot of essential extras like beach chairs and a cooler and a nice picnic basket. The kayaks were also a nice feature. The bikes are also a nice feature but several of them need the tires replaced. Overall it was good

Everything you need and want right here! Canal is like an aquarium, close to shopping, area attractions, numerous restaurants, beach and cabana club. Bikes, kayaks, grill, tons of outdoor and indoor seating, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and VERY clean! Keys Escape is a slice of heaven.

Excelente overall

We stayed at Dee’s place for 3 weeks. We had family and friends come at different times during our stay. We loved having the boat right outside our door and the easy access to both the Atlantic and Gulf. The house was great and just as described. Although they provided a lot of things to enjoy the outdoors such canoe, hammocks, corn hole and bikes, we didn’t get to enjoy them because it was so hot. But in a cooler month, those items would have been fun. We spent most of our time on the boat fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and lobstering , as we were there during mini lobster season. So much fun. We did enjoy sitting on the patio with the fan that was provided. The shades provided also helped to shade the patio. My husband loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the early morning and evening watching the boats go by. We spent a lot of time at the Cabana club when our 3 year old grandson was there. Plenty of options for food and drinks and has a beach right there to enjoy. Our grandson loved the pool and beach. Thank you Dee for being responsive to some of my silly questions. We had a blast.

The house is pretty clean, it has all the amenities you need, including your 'wants', lol! The patio furniture are one of our favorites! Having 2 fridge and a bait freezer was awesome! Dee was very accommodating! She is a great host! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent experience. The property was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family to relax in the living room together and to eat together. We loved being right on the water and spent a lot of time outside. The Cabana Club and Inch Beach were wonderful as well. When we return to the keys, we would rent this place again. We would highly recommend to friends as well.

We had the best week in Marathon this week. Saw 3 manatees at our dock and they stayed for over an our interacting with us. Caught lots of fish off the reef including Maui Maui, Snapper and Yellow tail Snapper. The house is very comfortable and the dock has plenty of beautiful water and plenty of lounge chairs! Perfect spot to enjoy the breezy evenings after a day on the water. Dee, the home owner, is very friendly and kept us informed before and during our stay . Thank you Dee for your hospitality and for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Very nice home, location was great. Dock space for the boat was perfect. We loved having the kayak and bicycles provided. Inch beach access was really nice too. Dee was awesome for information and staying in contact. Would definitely recommend this rental to others.
