Cool little beach house, park your car in the garage if it’s not too big, which is a big plus in Newport. Property management was super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and proximity to tbe beach.

We booked for two nights, but my girls had so much fun at the beach (their first time seeing the ocean) that we decided to stay an extra night. And Rollo was awesome; very friendly and helpful!

Lovely rental for our 2 nights in Newport; only wish we had the option to check in a bit earlier. Most VRBO type places I’ve stayed in allow the guests more independence when arriving, but Happitravels uses a “helper” whom we had to text/call 45 min before arrival, and he was a friendly guy, but more chatty than we needed, having previously lived in the area and not having questions. The 2 bikes offered for use were a great perk!! The lock keypad was very convenient and worked fine. Walking to the 20th Street pier was 1.2 miles, so about 20 minutes. The AC was much appreciated! A+ stay, overall. Just didn’t need a check-in helper, IMO.

The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. The property manager was there upon our arrival, was super friendly and helpful. The parking here is very tight and took one person outside guiding the driver. That is typical for this area and cannot be helped. Just be prepared for that. I enjoyed the privacy of being on the second floor. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, utensils, dish soap and sponge, etc and had everything we needed. Pots and pans, dishes, etc were all in very good shape. The stove is gas. The property managers thought of everything - there was a blanket to cuddle up in on the coach, bikes to ride (although they are not in super fantastic shape, they were free and worked), beach toys, beach chairs, towels, etc. We liked it so much we extended our stay. This is a great area, very close to the beach, safe, everything close by. People are friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

HappiTravels and Sheryl and Rollo were very accommodating, very personalized in their communication and availability for assisting us with late check-in. Everything was perfect for our stay! We loved the proximity to the beach and the included beach toys (bikes, chairs and boogie boards.). It was perfect for our family of 6! They even took the time to find items we left behind and shipped them to us! Highly recommend. Would love to say we’ll be back!

We had the most fun! This little home is located in the best location, the beds were so comfortable! We could walk everywhere, piers, beach, food places etc

Very nice property. Everyone was extremely helpful. Personalized check in. We enjoyed beings so close to the beach and having everything provided to enjoy it.

First thing's first, we had a great time, and Sheryl, her husband, and Rollo were fabulous at communication, very friendly. I will say that we did not realize we had rented the upper unit until probably the week before we stayed there. I think the picture with the red door threw us off and we assumed we had gotten a lower unit. The description does say upper unit but just make sure you READ! Kitchen is very small but the unit does have access to the front porch and its own bbq, I just wouldn't plan to do any extensive kitchen cooking. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure was really nice, and there enough towels and other things you might need. Walking distance to the sand, and also across the street from a small center that has food, a liquor store, and some sit down places. Parking is horrible but that's to be expected in Newport Beach. This unit does offer one garage parking spot but make sure the car is compact to midsize (I drive a Yukon so that didn't really work). There is a public beach parking lot nearby though so we made it work. And lastly, they had plenty of bikes, boogie boards, sand toys, and chairs. You do not need to bring your own! That part was great and had I realized that, I wouldn't have towed all my kids sand toys with us. Overall, a fun weekend!

Overall we had a good experience. Being within walking distance to the beach was our main goal and this house accomplished that. Tight quarters, nowhere to really sit and eat except the couch. The tiny table barely had space for 2 children, much less adults. Parking in Newport is rough, but that is just the area in general. Rollo, who let us into the house, was very helpful and friendly.

Quiet upstairs lot. Perfect for a small family. We loved everything about the location and amenities. Very clean. We literally went to the beach every day. My toddler was on cloud nine. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Close drive to other nearby OC beaches. Relaxed family oriented location.

The property managers were very accessible; on our first night there, when getting the coffee ready for the next day, we realized the basket was missing. I e-mailed the managers, as it was 9:30 at night and I was worried about disturbing them, and they came right over with a new coffee maker!

Check in was easy, Rollo met us promptly and explained property details-management followed up-overall a good experience

Cute little place, close to the beach

The location to the beach and convenience of also being so close to restaurants and shopping was ideal. The rental was perfect for our small family, and we loved the beach theme in the house. The house was stocked with everything we needed, and we were pleasantly surprised with all the beach chairs and boogie boards provided. Our boys has a great time. It was fabulous getaway full of fun memories! The only frustrating thing was we did get blocked in by neighbors who parked in the alley a few times. We would stay again!
