Our stay at buena onda was one of the best on our travels, the view over the bay is amazing, the rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and the price for value is great! Charlie is an absolute lovely host!! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and helped us with any problems we had with our travel plans.

Sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Hostel mit einem netten und unkomplizierten jungen Eigentümer, der aufgrund seiner Herkunft (Kanada) englisch und französisch (aber auch spanisch) spricht. Großer Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Küche, Sitzecken über 3 Terrassen sowie Billardtisch. Von dort hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Bucht. Daher muss man etwas den Berg hoch laufen (in 5 bis 10 min ist man in der Stadt und am Strand). Der Weg ist auch nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit sicher. Guter Wäscheservice! Kühlschrank mit Bier und Softdrinks (Strichliste). Die Zimmer sind großzügig gestaltet, überhaupt gibt es viel Platz, so dass das Hostal nur 7 Zimmer hat und daher schnell ausgebucht ist. Bestes Frühstück ever!!! 😋 Es ist vegetarisch. Es wird auf aber auf Ernährungsweisen eingegangen. Es ist ruhig gelegen.

Es fehlt in den Zimmern eine Möglichkeit nasse Handtücher und Badekleidung aufzuhängen. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind barfuß Bereiche. Die Idee ist grundsätzlich schön. Aufgrund der offenen Bauweise und des Windes kommt trotz täglicher Reinigung Staub und Dreck rein, so dass die Füße anschließend dreckig sind und man den Schmutz ins Zimmer trägt. Meine Schuhe waren jedenfalls sauberer als meine Füße danach.

Guesthouse située à 5 mn à pied du centre dans une petite rue légèrement en pente. Vraiment pas difficile à atteindre. Elle est tenue par des nouveaux propriétaires Canadiens charmants. J'ai été reçu par le fils Charlie, très gentil. Ma chambre était déjà prête à 13:00 et j'ai donc pu y accéder tout de suite . Cette chambre est large avec un grand lit, ventilateur, moustiquaires aux fenêtres et une vue magnifique. Tout est en bois, murs et sol. Salle de bains grande, eau chaude. Espaces communs très agréables avec sofas, hamacs, cuisine à disposition. Tout est très propre. Rapport qualité prix excellent. Vraiment cette guesthouse est à recommander. J 'y serais volontiers resté plusieurs jours s'il y avait eu des chambres disponibles. Petit déjeuner inclus qui change tous les jours. Charlie peut donner des conseils et aussi trouver rapidement un taxi à prix raisonnable.

We loved our stay at Buena Onda! We stayed for a week and appreciated that it was relatively quiet at night, had a great view in the morning, had new and interesting breakfast every day, and had a full kitchen that we used to cook a couple meals at the hostel. The new managers were so helpful with all of our needs, gave us great recommendations (food, surf instructor, etc.) and we met several other interesting travelers there too. It was also great having breakfast with other guests in the common area and allowed for everyone to get to know each other. We also instantly adored their two sweet dogs Bonnie and Max. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Magic place with a beautiful seaview. The common área is really relaxed and beautiful with hammocks and Nice chairs. Breakfast is different everye day and really good! It is A 5 minute walk from the city centre.

We liked everything.

The host Baba was fantastic. The minute we checked in, he showed us a map and marked out lots nearby..He even organised our taxis to airport. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The view was stunning from the property. Close walk to town. Would highly recommend!

Lots of cute cats at the hostel but unfortunately this meant cat hair everywhere :( including in my breakfast lol all over the kitchen counter tops, beds etc which gave it a bit of a grimy feel overall if you wanted to cook in the kitchen
