This was a very nice property. Just note that you must bring your own linens which may be an issue if your traveling by air. We did find the mattress very hard and uncomfortable. The location was great and property was well stocked. We had an enjoyable stay.

We have been visiting the Cape with our children for almost 20 years, this was our first time renting this home. The house was very clean, roomy, comfortable and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed using the ping pong table and the quiet deck out back. Great owners, who were very responsive. The location is close to the beach, and easy proximity to both Chatham and Harwichport.

We had a great stay, the host was very responsive and helpful. Wonderful, private and quiet location. Lots of space in the house and very well-equipped. Will definitely rent again the next time we stay down the Cape.

Just a great house in an awesome location. Very private, and short drives to downtown Chatham and Harwichport. Pleasant St beach was a little to far a walk for our young children (5 and 3) but we drove the the beach multiple times on weekday afternoons (in August) and able to park every time. House was clean, well cared for and more than enough space for our family of 4. Gerry was excellent host. When we embarrassing my locked ourselves out with the keys on the kitchen counter, he was understanding and got the house unlocked within minutes. Will definitely try to stay here again at future Cape Cod trips.

We enjoyed our week in Chatham on Melody Lane! The quiet and peaceful property enabled us to relax and unwind while enjoying all that Chatham had to offer with beaches, shopping and golf all in close proximity! The home was lovely with plenty of space to spread out or spend quality time together! Highly recommend this lovely property!

Great place! Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Close to beach, and bike trails. Did not spend too much time outside due to 6-7 large turkeys who spent the week with us on the front lawn and back deck.

We just got back from our week away - this was the third summer we stayed at this house! It’s super clean, great location and the owner is great to work with. We are already looking forward to our return trip next year at this house!

After 40+ years of vacationing in Chatham we found the PERFECT place to call Home away from Home. We are both retired and our two daughters and 1 grandchild visited for one week apiece. We all agreed that it is the BEST. No changes necessary. We will be back.

This house was perfect for our family of 4 vacation in Chatham! It is beautiful and well maintained! It was super clean when we arrived and offers so many wonderful amenities (central A/C, washer & dryer, a grill and the kitchen has everything)! It is located in a quiet neighborhood, which is wonderful. We enjoyed dinners out on the deck. The owners, Gerry and Cindy, are great to work with and are super responsive to any questions we had. The house is a short drive to Ridgevale Beach (which is perfect for our young daughters) and close to downtown Chatham. We are looking forward to our return trip next summer!

My family just returned from a fantastic week at this wonderful house. As lovely as it is in pictures, the house is even more charming and homey in person. As a rental, it is very accommodating: attractive, organized, and well equipped (having on hand everything from wine glasses to a beach cart). It was extremely comfortable for this family with a small child. The owner was very accessible by email and text and, though this was a rental situation, I felt as if we were being hosted by a very gracious host. We rented a wagon and took our toddler on the 4/10-mile walk through beautiful, shady residential neighborhoods to Pleasant Street Beach, a small public beach that actually felt quite private. The house is only a six minute drive to the highly family friendly Ridgevale Beach, with tide pools and kayak and canoe rentals. It's a 13-minute drive into Chatham's gorgeous town center, and another 4 minutes to Chatham Lighthouse Beach. We just returned and can't wait to go back.

We had a fantastic week in Chatham and this home exceeded our expectations. Served as the perfect base for our Cape adventures. Great size for our family, very clean & comfortable, and well appointed. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood just outside the town of Chatham, yet just a few minutes from downtown and numerous beaches. Owner Gerry was extremely attentive and helpful - thank you! We have VRBO'd over a dozen properties the last 10 years and he is the best owner I have experienced. Highly recommend catching a Chatham Anglers baseball game - town ballpark is 5 minutes from the house. Drinks on the porch @ Chatham Bars Inn - a must. We also enjoyed a day trip to Nantucket - ferry departs from Harwich Port, just a few minutes west of the house (look for Groupon Summer 2014). I believe that Chatham is the perfect spot for a Cape Cod vacation, and this home is exceptional.

This was a really lovely home which was clean and well maintained. Our family of 5 found the home spacious, and very well suited to us. It is on a quiet street and located conveniently close to the beach. The central ac was great on the hot days. The home was as advertised, all the descriptions in the ad were accurate. The owner was wonderful and was very accommodating to our circumstances. We would certainly rent this house again, and would highly recommend this property.
