The condo is large and spacious with 3 bedrooms that are nicely spaced out, roomy and each comes with it's own bathroom. My brother and his wife stayed with us for just over a week and it was nice for them and us to have our own space in the morning. The walk to the beach was easy and after a few days the walk back from the beach was easier. Beautiful view.

Zihua is a special placce for sure! The condo was spacious and well equipped. Housekeeping was thorough, clothes were washed if left out which was a fun surprise. We liked the location as it provided wonderful views of the bay. The walk to the beach is quick, down a steep hill and a large set of stairs. We did not mind the climb, it worked off a margarita or two. We stayed during Christmas break, so the price was inflated, probably would have given 5 stars, but for the price we payed, would expect next level appointments such as luxury linen and upgrades to the kitchen.

The place and awesome and close to town and the beach! The views were breathtaking from the condo and loved the cool breeze in the evenings. Will definitely return!

First time in Zihuatanejo. Had a wonderful vacation. The accommodation was good, the manager excellent. He answered our many questions promptly, arranged for our Covid tests in the condo and helped out whenever we needed him. Lots of hills in the area - good for our fitness. We will come back.

This property is everything that's described. Oscar, Jacqui, and Sylvia will take good care of you. We had the unfortunate timing to be there during hurricane Rick and lost electricity for two days but they were so good about making sure we were ok. We've stayed there a couple times and will definitely be back again.

The views from this condo are spectacular. We could see the entire Zihuat bay and mountain range. It was a joy to wake up to every morning. This condo was spacious, clean and provided all the amenities for a relaxing vacation including toiletries and 2x week housekeeping. We walked 5 min to Play La Ropa and stopped at La Perla most days to rent lounge chairs & enjoy the beach. Getting into centro was about a 40 mins walk along the beach or a very quick cab ride. Oscar was so helpful every step of the way. He arranged for airport transportation, responded quickly to all of our questions and helped us navigate COVID testing. We would not hesitate to book this condo again on a return visit.

This property was great for our party of 6. It was so great that each room had their own bathrooms and A/C units. The patio view is stunning! The walk down to the beach is about 7-10 depending on walking speed. It would have been nice if the property had a few folding beach chairs and an umbrella for when you venture to another beach. We also had Silvia prepare and cook dinner for us one night toward the end of our stay and regretted we didn’t do that sooner so we could have her return, her food was amazing and one of our favorites of the trip! If you stay here you need to hire her to cook at least 2-3x. Oscar did a great job of communicating and was able to have a response back to our party. I highly recommend renting this unit if you are looking for a place to enjoy Zijua!

The property was amazing! Stayed for 9 days and loved every minute! Clean, unbelievable views, comfortable beds, and Sylvia!! This whole experience was amazing because of Sylvia. She cooked for us several times and the food was amazing!! She took amazing care of us. Beach towels provided, taxis available and walking distance to the beach. All amenities provided. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc...Playa la Ropa is the best beach and just a 5 minute walk. Restaurants everywhere on the beach for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We did them all! They are all good. Even took advantage of the recommendations from Oscars book(must read) and ordered Sunday football pizza from Pizza Loca. Can’t wait to come back and thank you Sylvia and Oscar!!

Our group of 6 adults just returned from the perfect 10 day vacation! This condo is so much better than any of us could have imagined and we can’t wait to go back! It is large enough that we all felt like we had our own space. Oscar was so responsive to every question and need we had. Upon request, he very kindly arranged for transportation from the airport. It could not have been easier! He provides all the information needed to access the taxis and buses to easily get around the area. They are as close as the beach! The location provides for the most incredible views. We all gathered nightly to watch the sunsets! It is a steep walk to down to the beach, but not a difficult one. The sparkling pool is there waiting for you on the walk up, for a quick cool down before you get “home”. If you enjoy wildlife, be sure to bring binoculars to enjoy the bird watching in the nearby trees! We enjoyed watching them each morning while drinking coffee from the patios. Sylvia is delightful and took such good care of us. We arranged with Oscar for Sylvia to prepare dinner for us one night. It was extremely affordable and such a treat! That meal was one of the highlights of our trip. So good! We highly recommend this location for your next vacation! We cannot wait to go back!

We stayed a week at Oscar’s lovely condo with our 5-year old son, and it was perfect. The location is a short walk to the beautiful Playa La Ropa, and while the walk back up is a bit sweaty and dusty, you can jump in the pool as you pass by! We really appreciated Silvia’s visits to clean and the wonderful dinner she made us. The Punta Marina staff and neighbors were friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and we would love to return!

I recently stayed at this property with a friend and my two children (aged 5 and 7). It was absolutely ideal for us. The condo itself is incredibly spacious and well laid out with a lovely ocean breeze at night - we only used the AC once! Silvia cleans daily and replenishes towels, etc. which is a real luxury. Oscar quickly responded to every question and query and arranged for transportation for the airport. Although this isn't necessary and costs a little more than a taxi, I loved the convenience and safety for my kids as most cabs seem to lack seatbelts. There is a very quick and safe walk down to the beach from the condo and the water temperature was perfect. My kids had a ton of fun playing in the waves (which were very manageable in size). The condo pool was pretty much ours for the entire 9 days and the kids also had a ton of fun playing in this - the water is a little cooler and quite refreshing. From the base of the hill you can also catch a cab or a bus into Zihua. We loved the bus and it is super cheap and seems to leave every few minutes so we didn't ever have to wait. Zihua is fun to explore and we took in a cultural festival which happens every Sunday evening in town - entertainment, street food, ++! We thought the margaritas at Rossy's (right at the base of the hill) were the best on the beach :). We enjoyed the smoothies at Pati's (at the other end of the beach) + next door to Pati's they offered pottery painting for kids and adults - you buy a piece of pottery (very inexpensive) and then paint it yourself and they fire it and give you the completed piece the following day. The kids had a blast with this. I'm not sure if this happens every day but we did it on a Friday. A perfect vacation at a perfect property with a perfect host. We will be back!

Our family of 6 enjoyed Oscar’s condo for 3 weeks in January 2018. We had everything we needed to make our trip great! We also enjoyed our first nights meal immensely so perfectly prepared by Silvia!! We would highly recommend doing this!! As past reviews have stated, the climb back up to the condo from the beach is not for everyone so just be aware that it’s doable but steep! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it!!

… Where to start? We have been to Zihuatanejo a few times and we were traveling with my parents who have been there every year for a couple of decades, but this was our first time in Punta Marina. We were six people ranging in age from 9 to 70’s and stayed over Christmas week. Although the pictures online are beautiful they absolutely do not do it justice...the views from the porch and front door are probably some of the nicest views i’ve ever had while traveling. I was also Surprised at the size of the bedrooms as well as the over all living area. We loved spending lazy afternoons reading on the porch after a morning of beach time. Things we loved: -The view!! I miss it as I type! -Having breakfasts and some lunches in our condo. We went on the first day and got groceries. - having our own bathrooms for each bedroom . -Daily cleaning by Silvia -Concierge service by Oscar for any of our needs -the daily walk down to the beach -A beautiful lunch/swim at La Escollera right up the hill -Having water delivery in our kitchen -Christmas Eve dinner by Silvia -The clean pool set in the hillside -Breakfasts at Paty’s -All the water sports next to La Perla -The goodies for sale when leaving La Ropa to head back up-ice cream, popsicles, churros There are probably many more things but these come to mind. Some items to know: -For my parents in their 70’s (but in very good shape) the afternoon hike up the steep hill back from the beach was a lot some days. The good news is it’s very easy to catch a taxi at La Ropa back to the condo. -To get a taxi to leave your condo you need to call one. Once we found a few that spoke English, we got their numbers and would call them for rides -Silvia does not speak any English so it is helpful to use google translate to leave her notes or communicate with her. She is a lovely woman and a hard worker. Tip her well :-) -If you plan an excursion or day trip and need to leave early- line up your transportation ahead of time. There are not as many taxis available in the morning and we had to walk down to La Ropa and a nice woman at the corner stand that sells drinks and snacks called a taxi for us. -There is a DVD player so if you want to bring movies along for the evenings, there is a lot of space and also Netflix is available. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay! I hope to be back at Punta Marina and of my dozens of Mexico trips, this was probably one of my absolute favorites. Highly recommend.

El departamento está padrisimo, es un lugar donde te puedes relajar porque no hay nada de ruido y donde te sientes seguro. La vista que tiene al mar, desde las terrazas es hermosa. La alberca esta muy grande y muy a gusto. Hay varios restaurantes cercanos y Playa La Ropa está muy cerca, es una playa super tranquila, casi no hay olas lo que la hace ideal para los niños. El lugar se presta para un viaje tanto en familia como con amigos. El departamento está muy limpio y todo el condominio también (incluida la alberca).

Mi familia y yo quedamos invitados a volver y a recomendar. Hermoso lugar, muy bien equipado, una vista hermosa y todos los servicios. La alberca, las instalaciones, todo muy limpio y muy tranquilo. Solo me atrevo a hacer una observación, que para personas que cuenten con avanzada edad o alguna discapacidad, hay que subir y bajar escaleras. Pero para nosotros, estuvo de 10 de calificación.

We stayed for a week in mid-April. There were three adults and two children and there was ample room. The condo is modern and in excellent shape with an incredible view of the bay. Oscar was very responsive and helpful. We had Silvia prepare three meals. All of them were outstanding and the price was reasonable. It isn't a long walk to the beach, but there are a lot of stairs. We didn't mind it, but it would be a handful if you were in poor physical shape or had disabilities. We spent most of our time on the beach. Playa la Ropa is one our favorites. There is also a pool that is well-maintained and was never crowded. It is a great property and we would rent it again.

We stayed at punta marina for a week in late march- the condo was amazingly gorgeous, with plenty of room for two families. Oscar was extremely communicative, and got back to questions/ queries extremely fast. Sylvia was incredible- she cooked two incredible meals for us- definitely ask her to make you fish, and margaritas- both are to die for! The condo is on the top of a hill, split between two very different beaches- be sure to explore both of them- Los Gatos is on the left and accessible via a pathway along the rocks- when you get there- there is plenty of snorkeling, and fantastic palabras to camp out during the day- also no waves, so a great option with smaller kids. Playa ropa is on the right, and a fab beach for long walks, sandcastle building, etc... waves are no more than 3 feet high. All the palabras are also amazing, but I have to admit Los Gatos was my favorite, so make sure you don't miss it! At the bottom of the hill, you can get fresh ceviche and oysters in a makeshift area that gets set up daily- definitely worth it- you won't get fresher oysters, as they pick them that day. The stairs and walk was quite refreshing- it was really nice to get a bit more exercise than if you were on the beach and falling out of your room to the beach- I personally preferred it to the lazier beach resorts- and in the heat of the day, you can stop at the pool on the way up to your room and rinse off/cool down. Town is a long walk past the other end of playa ropa, a water taxi from Los Gatos, or a 50-70 peso cab ride from the taxi stop at the bottom of the hill. Definitely head there for a sat/Sunday night, as a festival seems to show up in the town square and is wonderful for all ages. You absolutely can't go wrong with this condo- it is really incredible. Thank you oscar and Sylvia for a wonderful vacation.

Condo was just as pictured, well-maintained with gorgeous views. Had everything we needed in the condo. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio of the condo and the pool area was lovely as well. Oscar was very responsive to questions both before and during the stay. It was an easy walk to the beach from the condo (we weren't convinced from the view that it was really a 4 minute walk, but it was!). The walk up is a little harder, especially with small children, as there are lots of stairs. You can also walk on a rocky path to Playa Los Gatos (about 15 min walk), which we hadn't realized initially and were quite pleased to find that out. Overall a great stay!

This was an excellent choice, the condo was spectacular, it has two decks where you can enjoy magnificent ocean views. On the living room you has plenty space to relax, read or watch tv. The beds aré confortables, the baths nice and all the condo very celan. At the kitchen you can find all items you need if you want to cook. For all these is why I highly recomend this option

The view of the bay is a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning! Everything was just as we hoped and we would recommend it to anyone. Since we are in our 70's the one thing we would mention is that the walk to the beach could be strenuous as mentioned but taxis were always available if you needed one. We also enjoyed a couple of great meals at El Vijia restaurant on our way to the beach.

STAY HERE! You will be blown away just how beautiful this La Ropa gem is. I feel like I won the AirBNB lottery when I arrived. The view is absolutely breath taking. Sitting on the balconies every morning while drinking coffee for sunrise is something I'll never forget. The home is so comfortable and huge. I'll admit there was only 2 of us, so we were spoiled with the space. A/C works great and so does the internet. Modern living. Slept excellent, a very quiet property! Felt very secure in the home, which had a safe as well as a security guard roaming the property at night time. (Great guy) Thee Host Oscar, communication was impeccable. Quick responses and excellent English. Always making sure we were taken care of. Any chance he could help or suggest local tips, he was ready. The amount of information he supplies you before you even arrive makes you feel like you know the city. Silvia, who greats you with the keys and also is the housekeeper daily is a wonderful lady. We arrived to Zihuat in the late evening so we arranged in advance through oscar for her to prepare us a meal at our arrival. WOW! I highly recommend this. The feast was fantastic, all fresh and delicious! We'll miss her! Prepare for lots of Stairs if you do not have a vehicle for the beach. We didn't mind as we are younger and felt the walk to La Ropa and back up to the Condo allowed us to really indulge on the beach! We hung out at la Perla every day, rented a canopy with chairs right on the beach for the day for 100pesos. Lots of cerveza & tequila. The Grilled Octopus was a daily occurrence. Look for waiters Jorge or Gregorrio, they really took care of us. Tell them Roberto & Andres sent you! The massage tent right next to Perla was our choice. 1 hour for 200pesos, wonderful masseuses. The definition of relaxation on the sand! Please do yourself a favor and walk up the road above the Punta Marina residence to La Escollera. They took care of us and have an infinity pool with the definition of a "Million dollar view" that you can dip into while eating and in between drinks/ food! EL Vigia is a great nearby restaurant as well! I really cannot say enough good things about our stay. Already planning next year to return and bring more family & friends. (Tip: Get a bag of Cafe Imperial organic local coffee beans to enjoy every morning, delicious!! Black coffee so tasty) Thanks again Oscar & Silvia!

Everything is flawless, from the roomservice to the remarkable view to the beach. The place was uncluttered, hygienic and graceful. The neighboors are pretty peaceful and the service people are very kind. Love the way the room is illuminate!
