We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots to do! We hiked the Royal Arch trail (approx 10-15 min away) and it was spectacular! Lucky's bakery & market are a few minutes away. The kitchen is well stocked, comfortable beds and a nice deck off the back for outside dining. There's also a nice walking loop around a lake that you can access at the end of the street. There were a few deer wandering around the neighborhood so that was fun to see. Great communication from Merrin the property owner as well!

My husband and I had a great stay at the Riverside House in North Boulder. The online description was spot on and the house and location did not disappoint. The house has a serene, restful ambiance and is well appointed. There were ample towels and linens available and the beds were great. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and condiments available for use. The kitchen and living area open onto a spacious deck and a beautiful wooded yard adjacent to a babbling stream that can lull you to relaxation or sleep. The Riverside House is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is easy walking distance to a market, coffee shop, liquor store and several small restaurants. The house is just minutes away from a trail that encircles beautiful Wonderland Lake and we loved our walks there each morning, ending with a delicious latte from Logans Coffee Shop. Merrin, was a wonderful, welcoming host who was readily available, if needed. We recommend this home and would definitely stay again when visiting North Boulder.

Excellent location, 5 minute drive to Pearl Street, hiking trail and bike paths steps away from front door, sit on the porch listening a burbling stream and watch deer graze. Owner is excellent with communication, kitchen is well equiped.

My family truly enjoyed this home, and it was a perfect home base for us to go on several college tours. The home is cozy and welcoming, and our host reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

This is a quiet treelined neighborhood. Babbling brook in the back that was wonderful to sleep to. Decks front and back. All amenities were thoughtful and appreciated. Short walk to terrific coffee and donuts.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and more. It is in a quiet neighborhood which we really appreciated. We took advantage of the 5 min walk to the lake, the corner grocery store and coffee/bakery shop. It’s also just a few minutes from Pearl Street Mall. Merrin was wondering to work with. She called us before our trip to make sure we didn’t need anything else before our arrival. She also called after to make sure we enjoyed our stay and to let me know I had forgotten my jacket in one of the closets and that she would be mailing it back to me. This was super sweet of her and something she didn’t have to do. We highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Boulder. You won’t be disappointed!

This experience was awesome from beginning to end. The owners of the property made us feel so welcome and were accommodating to our schedule. The condiments and other goodies that were left for us made things so easy. The bedding is really nice and cozy. The only thing that was an issue for us at all which has nothing to do with the owners is that my family is clearly not used to having only one bathroom at our disposal. That’s on us! Everything was awesome!

House is very clean and comfortable and in a great location for hiking and cafes and grocery store. The hosts are very kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Merrin's home is truly a home, not just some bare bones place to spend the night. The house is filled with plants, sunlight, comfy furniture and a well stocked pantry. We enjoyed relaxing on the inviting decks and front porch. The house is well located, and it's a short walk to a market, coffee shop, great bakery and a few restaurants. Merrin is a wonderful host and was very easy and pleasant to work with. We will stay with her again when we return to Boulder!

Roomy kitchen with lots of pots and pans, beautiful pottery dishes and amazing pantry. Washer and dryer was a big bonus. We used both the front porch for afternoon reading and the back deck for some great cookouts. Was surprised that shampoo and conditioner were not included; may have been an oversight. I would have liked to have a trash can in the north bedroom. Otherwise, it gets 4-stars.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house had all the comforts of home and then more. It’s location was great for morning walks with a lovely pastry place close by for a treat! We will be back!

House is very comfortable and relaxing with many decks looking out over quiet outdoor space. Inside is comfortable beds , many indoor plants and very nice decor. Our host was responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This cozy hideaway just north of town was well appointed and located in a gorgeous creekside setting with wonderful ambiance inside and out on decks. Local shops/cafes/market/restaurants a short easy walk and magical Wonderland Lake park access was right down the street. Merrin was a very responsive, welcoming host with lots of great recommendations. Will surely be back to this gem!

We loved the Riverside House. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. Plus a fantastic front porch and a lovely back deck where we could watch mama deer and her twin fawns walk down to the little creek every day. And the house is particularly well placed in a lovely neighborhood close to cafés, restaurants, groceries and a great little walk around a lake. Merrin was a great host. Everything was nice and easy.

My wife, myself and two adult children had a nice week in Boulder in the Riverside House. The two bedrooms are more suited to two couples than a family with adult children, but we brought an air bed so our “kids” wouldn’t have to sleep together. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood far enough from the center of Boulder to give a relaxed feel of nature, yet close enough to most of what we wanted to see around Boulder. It’s just a few minutes drive to the pedestrian mall and a few minutes walk to Lucky’s and a few neighborhood restaurants and coffee shop. A stream runs through a green space between the houses where a family of deer greeted us each morning while we were eating breakfast on the deck. The owner lives in the home with areas of the home locked off when renters are occupying. She leaves a lot of pantry supplies for use. Apparently, she leaves whenever someone books the house and travels or camps in her Airstream, so the home is occupied and maintained. I wouldn’t say it is pristine, but it is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and likely better than you would get if staying with family. The home is only a few blocks from a small lake with trails and a mountain view. Minutes to the Flatirons and to Boulder Canyon Trail with walking trails, park and stream with small rapids for tubing. The kitchen has a toaster oven, but no microwave, so leftovers were more challenging, but we made it work. Otherwise, it is well appointed. A bonus for hot days was that the water from the fridge is double filtered and made filling our bottles easy, several times per day to avoid buying bottled water. Hydration is a must in higher elevations. The small back yard bordering the green space and large deck are quiet and peaceful with the sound of the stream and a recirculating fountain. Merrin reached out prior to our arrival and was available by phone during the stay if we had questions. We enjoyed our stay at the Riverside House and we would not hesitate to stay again if returning to the area. Thanks for the hospitality, Merrin!

Merrin was an amazing host, the house itself is incredibly comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and the location could not be beat for access to everything, including walks in nature. Our stay was long, but we always felt at home, and the beauty of the setting enhanced everything.
