This is overall a nice property. It feels very clean and modern, a welcome change from some other units. That said, there are things that create issues. The blinds are not fully attached to the walls and are old. It makes it impossible to fully close the blinds and blackout a room. That was OK for me, but our 2 year old had a hard time falling asleep because it was still very bright in the room at his bed time. If you need/want darkness in the bedrooms it won’t happen here until the shades are repaired. Otherwise a very nice unit.

Condo was everything we expected and then some. Really enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at the Las Palomas resort on several occasions and have always had a wonderful time. We decided to bring my sister and her husband who were visiting from the UK. We arrived at Las Palomas and they couldn't find out reservation. We spent over an hour trying to check in and the resort finally got a hold of the owner. He said he never got our reservation through VRBO even though we had booked and paid in full 2 months earlier. He apparently had double booked. We were told that we could stay for 2 nights but not the other two. My young children were in tears. The owner then offered us his other property which was downtown and nowhere near the beach- not even comparable! We were refunded 2 nights but this did not include the taxes we had paid. The condo was missing the lounge chairs on the patio which my sister was looking forward to relaxing on. The kitchen was very sparsely stocked compared to other VRBOs we have used. The air conditioner was not working in one of the rooms and we wasted another 2 hours of our vacation waiting for them to come and repair it. They were doing repairs at the pool the whole time as well. All in all this was the worst trip to Rocky Point I have ever had. I would never book through this owner again.

Communication was great. Check in process was delayed over an hour. The room had some details that had to be tended too. Safe wasn’t working, missing kitchen chair being repaired, sleeper sofa broke, blinds broke, sink faucet about to break off. We did get the sleeper sofa fixed the next day and safe. The owner and staff helped to get these two fixed.

This property was OK for the 1 night that we stayed. The photos need to be updated. There was no blue coach upon our arrival as depicted in the pictures.

Great location, plenty of room for 9 people as listed. Although at check in they said only 8 people allowed and they’d have to charge for the 9th person.

Had a great experience with Steven. His condo is very nice and well maintained. Exactly what it says in his description beds are very comfortable. Only complaint I have is with Las Palomas was not able to check in until 7:30 PM I think with spring break they were a little backlogged with cleaning the room. They also try to charge me for a ninth person which I had already paid for so I contacted Steven and he took care of it immediately which was very nice. I would highly recommend renting from Steven and we really enjoyed our stay thank you!

The place was great. We did expect more sleeping areas as it says sleeps 9 but really only about 7. We brought a blowup mattress so it worked fine but the couch does not pull out to a bed. View was amazing and we all had a great time. Nice having 3 bathrooms. Owner for very responsive.

It was just for a weekend but the room was spacious, clean and well organized. The view was incredible water front. Thank you for allowing us in such short notice. It was a dream come true.

EVERYTHING WENT WELL

Initially at check-in the the lobby employee/receptionist tried to charge me extra $ for my 9th guest which was already included in my total price and was already paid when I made the reservation. I showed him my confirmation # and the total of guest that were included in the price I paid. He said that it was not enough and that he never got a text from the property owner saying he did not haveto charge me for the extra guest. I immediately called Steve the owner/manager so that he could provide clarification. After a second attempt contact was made, I explained the situation and before Steve could find my reservation the receptionist all of a sudden said that it was ok and for me not to worry about it. (He tried to rip me off by saying my confirmation email was not enough even though it included the number of guests that were staying and tried to charge me extra for the 9th bracelet/guest) so be careful at check in. Aside from the negative experience at check-in which the owner has no control over the resort was beautiful and the condo was elegant. The ocean view was perfect as well as the view to all the pool area. I would definitely recommend people stay here. Thank you.
