Easily the cleanest property we've ever stayed at. The location is perfect and you can't really hear the people at the unit above. Everything worked as expected and was well-maintained. We had a situation where we got locked out because a lock lost it's ability to take the code, and the owner was immediately responsive via text and drove three hours that very day to install a new one. Would definitely recommend.

This home was perfect for us. We rented the top and bottom units and found it to be great. Easy walk to the beach.

Had an excellent time at Sunset. Got to meet the owners and had great conversations. Highly recommend ( as long as it’s not when we’re planning on staying 😉

This was our second visit to this property. We love the location and the house is clean and stocked for a perfect vacation. The owner is responsive and great to work with from booking to departure. We are hoping to visit again very soon.

Great ocean front property at Holden Beach, very clean and stocked with everything you need. Was close to everything and just overall a great experience for our family. Communication with host was excellent prior to our arrival which was an A+ experience for us. Will definitely be looking forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our vacation staying right on the beach. The beach was clean and the water was warm. We had a nice view from the deck and the house was nice. The house was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and the welcome package added a special touch. I would definitely recommend staying here the only problem was that a week wasn't long enough. We only had a couple of questions and the owners responded back in a timely manner.

This unit was exactly as described.It is not fancy but It was Clean and practical. the beds were very comfy. The air conditioning works great. There are plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. the 4 bedrooms in each unit are large enough for comfort. The tvs worked great. It is only a few steps from the ocean! Great for kids! great for a group if you rent both units like we did. Complete separation unless you want to get together!!! I loved it and would reccomend it whole heartedly.

A great place to stay and share the other duplex with family. Great views from decks. Loved the extra seating outside.

First time using vbro. Owner was fabulous to work with and very responsive. House was very close to the beach and well stocked. Bring your food for cooking and you’re set! We are in for breakfast and lunches and went out for dinners. Perfect get away. Highly recommend.

We so enjoyed our week at the beach. The house was clean and beach access was easy. I started each morning sitting on our shaded porch with my steaming cup of coffee, a beautiful view of the ocean, and watching the birds dive bomb for fish. Everyone was able to go back and forth from the house to the beach with no worries. The house was the typical older beach house, which is just what I wanted. I sure didn’t want to spend my family vacation worrying myself sick about the kids tracking in a little sand. My only complaint, which is all my fault, was this was an upstairs/downstairs rental. I really didn’t think this was a deal breaker, but the folks over us had a couple of young boys. Early in the morning and later at night the running and jumping from overhead was a little irritating. Children are children, and it was there vacation too. Next year I hope to find a house like this one, but for a single family. Overall this was a wonderful vacation.

Very comfortable property. Well stocked snd great layout. Had both units with 18 people and had plenty of room. It would have been nice to have a garbage disposal on the sink. With teens cleaning up after meals the dink was a mess. We did have a visit in the yard from 2 rather large snakes and several rats. But overall was a great week.

We had a great vacation! I never take the time to write reviews but this vacation spot deserves one! Perfect spot on the beach wonderful views well equipped and we were in our own lil world with no one bothering us. Showed up door code provided to enter property and we were ready to start vacationing! Will be back again!

We have stayed here multiple times. Everything you need and new, comfy king mattresses! Covered porch is great place to sit, visit and watch the ocean. Beautiful beach, dolphins, pelicans, shells. Thank you Robert!

We had a wonderful week with perfect weather. The house was perfect for our needs and kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. Being right on the beach was perfect for sunning or sitting on the deck watching the dolphins and pelicans go by. The bottle of wine, toilet paper and paper towels was a very nice surprise. Our upstairs neighbors were a pleasure also. We will definitely be back here again.

This is our 3rd stay here and we have booked 2 more for 2022. Can't get any closer to the ocean. Kitchen has everything you need. Covered porches are great! Short drive to intercoastal where we caught a flounder off the public dock!

I, my aunt and my cousin rented this house for the week. My adult daughter joined us for a few days then another cousin came for a few days. The house was perfect for our needs. It is an older house, but it was clean and everything was in working order. I especially appreciated the kitchen pots and pans and utensils. We cooked every night and never wanted for a thing. The wind off of the ocean was strong on most days, and cut our beach time. But the front deck was protected from the wind so that is where we had our evening happy hour and snacks before dinner. We decided to try to make this an annual trip and plan to return to this beach house!! Thank you Robert!

The duplex was as pictured. The house was clean and well appointed. Robert was a delight to work with, quick to respond and informative. He has updated the two queen bedrooms to King mattresses! Such a wonderful surprise and upgrade. The house could not be in a better location with Easy access to the beach and such a beautiful view of the ocean! The kitchen isn’t spacious, but well stocked and open to the living area, making it seem larger and definitely workable for 10 guests. We enjoyed the nice charcoal grill. There is a big gathering space below the house , next to the grill. A well stocked beach toy closet is available to renters. Thanks for a great time. We are planning our next trip.

The stay in general was very good. The house could use a few minor cleaning updates. It needs new shower curtains ( moldy), carpet shampooed, and we found a dead cockroach in the floor when we arrived.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. Quiet beach and we loved sitting on the back deck in the rocking chairs just looking at the ocean. It was wonderful to crack the windows at night and listen to the waves crash on the shore. We are looking at going back really soon.

We have been vacationing in Holden the last 7 years. We love it. Robert was very responsive to emails and very smooth transactions. House was just as described and we loved our stay here. The views cant be beat. Will definitely be back!

We rented both levels of this duplex and it worked out great. The kids could visit with each other easily. The beach didn't have a lot of extra people on it. We would like to stay here again. Robert was very nice to work with.

House was clean and excellent location. Beach was quiet even in June! Some noise travel between upstairs and downstairs units but nothing more than one would expect from a duplex. The renters above said they couldn’t hear our baby crying during the night! We would stay again!

The space was great for our party of 4 adults, 2 preschoolers and a 7 week old baby. We had a room to spare! A large number of plates etc, silverware, cups, and glasses so we weren't constantly washing dishes or running the dishwasher. Large back deck facing the beach, easy access to the beach and a very short walk. Close(5 minutes) to several wonderful restaurants and ice cream shop. The beach was not crowded and very clean with lots off shells. I would go back to Holden Beach and stay at 711. Thanks for a perfect place for our vacation.

Once again our stay was perfect. There is nothing we would change about this house. It is so comfortable and relaxing. We love all of the porch chairs and rockers. Being able to walk right out onto the beach is a plus with all of our grandchildren. It was a wonderful week!

The house was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved being so close to the beach! After dinner all of us watched the moonrise and the stars on the wonderful back porch that was filled with rocking chairs! Would recommend highly! It was one of the best vacations EVER!

This is the second time we have stayed at 711. Our friends-we-made-family rent the upper unit as well. Our children love playing together all day and the home is so well appointed that we eat in most every night and enjoy games and just being together. The house is clean and easy to access. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for such a lovely backdrop for which to make our memories.
