Right in the middle of the island and on its own little access road off the main highway this was our perfect base for the wedding we attended. We could scoot up to bodega ridge, or quickly to the harbour or shops for coffee or a bite to eat. House was large and fit us 6 easily, could have fit more too.

The house was spacious and very well equipped for everything you might need on your vacation. I loved the pantry for storing all non-perishables in a place where they were easy to find. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The owner promptly replaced the propane for the BBQ when we ran out. We appreciated our hosts' understanding of our reactive dog very much. You can tell they truly care about their guests' enjoyment - Thank you for a relaxing week!

We had a great stay at the Meadows. House is exactly as listed, and perfectly private. Had a couple days without internet but that’s no issue for us. Once it started working, it’s plenty fast enough for your teens to stay connected. Would highly recommend.

We were two adults with our college-age niece. There are five bedrooms, so we had a lot of choices. The beds were comfortable. The living and dining areas are big, the kitchen has everything you need. The wood stove was great and kept the house cozy and warm. We didn't use the yard this trip as it rained quite a lot. But there is a nice back porch and huge property all around. The house is near the trails we like to hike and not far from other restaurants and groceries, we found it perfect for our needs. The owners are very friendly. We thought it would be great to return with more family for a mini-reunion one day.

The property is big and had lots of room for the six of us. The kids enjoyed playing with all the provided toys. They also loved all the swings. Our dog loved chasing a ball in the meadow. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Gord was very quick to respond to any questions. We had a lovely vacation.

This is a large house with separate sleeping wings, which was perfect for my daughter and her family to have their own area. Lounging and dining is spacious and comfortable and kitchen very well equipped. The kids, 3 and 5, loved roaming in the meadow and orchard, and looking for tadpoles in the ponds. Lots of toys indoor and out to keep them busy. We loved it!! Gord and Laurene are close by but I didn’t even see them! Lots of space and privacy, I felt very much at home and would have loved to stay longer. The weather was just turning springlike at the end of four days, and the outdoor patio looks so inviting. Btw the heated floors were fantastic with toddlers who spend so much time on the ground.

We loved our stay! Communication was easy, and the place is very spacious! The large, fenced in backyard was perfect for our active dog to run around in. And there is so much for the kids to do in the yard as well! We would love to come back one day :)

This property was amazing! Me and my friends had such a nice time here. Gord and Laurene were amazing hosts!! Definitely would recommend :)

We had a wonderful stay with 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) and 2 dogs. The layout was perfect for this configuration, with 3BRs at one end of the house and 2BRs at the other. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. It would have been ideal to have an extra bathroom at the other end of the house (currently one bathroom and small ensuite on the 3BR side). The kitchen was well appointed and nicely stocked with key items (baking supplies, spices etc). We enjoyed the large yard, which was perfect for the dogs, though the ground was quite wet and boggy (in Feb). It would be fun to return in the late summer / early fall to pick fruit from the small orchard. The outdoor patio was lovely, and the younger kids enjoyed trying out the swings hung from various trees in the yard. The central location on the island made it easy to get to key spots across the island (Saturday market, high bluffs park, Bodega Ridge). We discovered a few small maintenance issues when we arrived which were addressed quickly. LTE Internet is weak in this part of the island and the house WiFi was not always strong, but that was a nice excuse and reminder to step away from technology for most of the weekend. Communication was prompt and friendly. We will return!

Perfect place for the family. Lots of space to keep the kids busy (4 different types of swings). The location is convenient but still remote enough you can get away. No complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house is so roomy and spacious... plenty of space for just the two us. We especially loved the heated floor and wood stove. Made the it so cozy on the chilly autumn days. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and very gracious when our first ferry sailing was cancelled. We had a great three days and it was the perfect way to celebrate 40 years together. Thank you.

The owner’s photos and descriptions are exactly as we found. All 5 bedrooms were comfortable…and with great beds and serene views. I love to cook and this kitchen was a little better appointed that my travel experiences have found, so that was a pleasant surprise. The owner, Gord, was quick to respond to my few questions in advance. He dropped by to check on us a couple of times, and invited us to enjoy the apples and pears growing on the property. It’s very quiet and serene…about an 8 minute easy drive to a lovely grocery store. We will stay her again.

The house was very welcoming and comfortable to enjoy a lazy afternoon or evening star gazing. Montague Harbour is an easy 5 minute drive and we visited there several times as well as exploring some other island spots. Everything was needed was in the house and when we did run into a couple of small issues, Laurene was very responsive and helped make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you! There were only 3 of us but there were beds we didn't even use and plenty of room to spread out and find a little private chill space. I'd happily stay here again.
