Nice place. Beautiful scenery

The house was very good to excellent; the upstair bedrooms, renovated kitchen, living and dining rooms, and lake views are excellent; the downstairs bedroom and bath are a bit small; the outdoor fire pit and furniture and lake access were great; however, the Hammondsport police were aggressively pulling over cars for exceeding the 30 MPH speed limit; if you have an out of state license proceed with care.

We had a great stay. Swam and kayaked. Move in and out was so easy since you can drive in to unload with No Stairs. Plenty of room. Clean and well cared for home with great yard and dock. Screened in porch and balcony with fantastic views. Owners were quick to answer questions too. I booked next year before we finished the week!

We absolutely loved our stay! This is our second stay on Kueka lake and we were blown away by how clean this property is! This is the hardest part about renting a home, do the pictures do the home justice??? YES!!!!!! We loved the open floor plan, new windows with views of the entire lake, the updated kitchen was a huge plus, and the grass area to the north of the property is clutch. We also were pleasantly surprised that we had a way to pull down to load and unload. Five stars all around. Great for kids of all ages. Ours are 2 and 7 months! Safe and kid proof! We kept our large cooler in front of the stairs for our crawler! Christina

Very nice location close to Hammondsport

This is a great house to stay in for visiting the Finger Lakes! The space was comfortable, cozy, and a perfect place to relax. The kitchen has everything you need and the lake access is hard to beat. The photos make it look a bit larger than it actually is. Make sure to bring your own towels, including hand towels and kitchen towels. The host was very easy to communicate with. The whole group wants to come back again!

We were lucky enough to stay when the planes choose to take off & land on the lake for hours of entertainment. Couldn’t have stayed anywhere better to watch it.

An excellent experience. A comfortable, clean home within walking distance from Hammondsport. Loved the beautiful views and evenings by the fire pit.

The property worked just fine for the 6 of us,,2 children and 4 adults. The weather was unusually hot so we really appreciated the AC. We grandparents chose to sleep in the downstairs pull out sofa bed as it was cooler than the downstairs bedroom. The driveway and steps both inside and outside are fairly steep; but by the end of the week, we had mastered them all. My son in law had an unfortunate slip on a wet ramp, but neighbors and EMTS were very swift and helpful and came to his aid immediately. I would stay again at this property as it is very convenient to the town of Hammondsport, but maybe stay 2 weeks to allow for more weather conditions. Also we brought a little sunfish with us and were able to launch it from the property. The wind was wonderful for 4 of the 6 days and the adults really enjoyed that opportunity to sail. We had a group of 6 people and this property was perfect for our stay. The outdoor patio and dock were amazing and provided some awesome views of the fall foliage. The indoor area was spacious with lots of windows and room for playing board games. I would love to come back during the summer to take advantage of the private beach area with the kayaks. In addition to the property itself, it was about a 3 min drive to the town of Hammondsport which had some good food options. And the nearby wineries were also close by. The property owner Dana was super responsive with any questions I had. Overall a great stay and I would definitely go back again!

Property was perfect.

The place was neat and roomy. It had almost everything we needed. I probably would not have brought so many games. And cooking items if I had know. The neighbors Ben and his wife were very nice and helpful. Would consider staying again.

We enjoyed our time at the lake. There was plenty of outdoor space; deck, docks and yard provided enough space for us to relax, play games and enjoy the water.

The house was great for our two families with six teenagers! We had a wonderful week enjoying all the house and lake had to offer. Living space was wonderful to appreciate the lake in many ways...views of the lake from all the windows, the upper deck was amazing, lovely patio with lots of seating and built in fire circle, large dock and the raft was a favorite. The kayak and canoe were great amenities. Plenty of dock space to keep a rental boat. Great side yard for for lawn games. The house was clean and the owners were very responsive. Walkable to Hammondsport Just a caution that the steps to the lower level are steep but worked well for our kids who enjoyed the lower level as a teen hangout.

Area is gorgeous but house is overrated in reviews with regards to Amenities - pictures do not accurately portray this house in current state . living room and dining area are spacious but kitchen and bathrooms are extremely dated and small to point of not being accommodating . We appreciated the lake and our time on the lake but the home was not what we felt was a good value or quality . I did provide these comments to owner prior to this posting and I was told they valued opinions and would contact their cleaners !

Beautiful waterfront rental with Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, including docking space. Extremely close to the town of Hammondsport for groceries and supplies. We could not have asked for anything more.

Awesome house and great location on the lake, owners were great and very responsive, highly recommended.

A few ladies from rented this home for a weekend getaway. The home was beautiful with an absolute gorgeous view of the lake. The people we met in town were very nice too. It was a great experience.
