Stayed here with my family, parents, and sister's family. It had plenty of room and was close to things to do without being right in the middle of things.

This property is amazing! Beautiful mountain lake home equipped with every comfort you need. The property, inside and out, is spacious, up-to-date, well kept and clean with outstanding views. Communication with owner is easy. Near golf courses, restaurants, Chimney Rock, etc This property is highly recommended

The property, layout, furnishings and appointments are all exceptional. We were in town for a wedding and unfortunately did not get to take advantage of all the amenities (fire pit, lake and watercraft and beautiful outdoor space). We did enjoy the fully equipped game room with ping pong and foosball. We had one slight issue with the door code as we could not access Wi-Fi to view the document provided by the homeowner. Next time we will have a hard copy.

Gorgeous home! Terrific location! Everything seemed “brand new”. Beds were unbelievably comfy. Spacious throughout! We would give 10 stars if we could!!! Spent 4 nights with fellow Veterans…reinforcing our Spiritual faith and relationship with Jesus! Awesome place!

We absolutely loved the cabin on the little lake! Awesome that the Runbling Bald passes are included because you can literally do so many things there. The windy roads and mountain feel was just what we wanted. The host (Jason) was very responsive to all of our questions we had as well. Short drive to Asheville to explore around their too. Definitely recommend doing chimney rock to take hikes or see the flowering bridge and get some food/ beverages.

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Our kids asked if we could move there! Jason was easy to get in contact with, the house was beautiful and perfect for our group, and swimming off the dock in the lake was a blast. There's so much to do in the area- we can't wait to come back and enjoy it all over again.

Book it now! It's a wonderful cabin! Great location and amenities! The house was big, clean, and had everything we needed to have a great vacation! Passes to the resort were great. Kids loved the beach and all the pools, adults did as well. We will definitely be back again!

The home was beautiful. The view was gorgeous. Clean. We had a great time. So much to do at the home and in the area.

We have a wonderful stay during our week here! The house was big enough to accommodate separate families and we enjoyed spending time on the dock fishing, using the fire pit and and kayaking on the small lake. It was a short drive to Rumbling Bald and having access to all those amenities during 4th of July week was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! It rained most of the week, but we still had a great time. The house was very clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the little lake, dock, kayaks, and ping pong table. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had no issues. There were 6 adults and 4 children, and we had plenty of room.

We loved our stay here, including the spacious log cabin home, deck with rocking chairs and morning sunlight, dock on the water for afternoon dips in the lake and the proximity and access to Rumbling Bald Resort. All in all, a really special place.

Great meeting spot for a family get together (Florida, Texas, Utah, Arizona and Tennessee). Location is close to Asheville airport for those who are flying. House is beautiful, large and roomy. Alot to do in the area, water sports on the lake, or just sit back and relax on the large porch. All photos are accurate and up-to-date. The passes to the private resort are a bonus. All the information you need is provided prior to your arrival date. Looking forward to our next visit.

Everything was so great. The location, the resort, the home. It was the perfect location for three small families to get together for the first time in 5 years. We’ll never forget the hospitality - thank you!!

Absolutely wonderful lake front house. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of activities, very family oriented. Great communication with owner. Many amenities to take advantage of. Would definitely rent again!

Quiet property on a small lake. Great to get away with friends and family without being too far away from groceries and necessities. Ingles (Grocery Store) is around a 20 minute drive away and a handful of hiking trails withing 15 minutes as well. The only issue we had was that one of the rooms on the main floor to the right when you enter had an unpleasant oder that got worse after it rained. Great stay overall though! Would recommend!

Great property.

Managed to organize 7 grown men for a 4 day weekend, we always talk about getting together but never do. We stayed the weekend of January 21 so we did not do Rambling Bald resort at all. We came for fishing, ping pong, fooseball and cards. Also it was a great playoff NFL football and UFC PPV. The size of the house is great 2 living areas is great. It says sleeps 10 for 5 bedrooms the couches are awesome but they do not fold out to beds. Water was crystal clear and beautiful but we had no fishing luck. Having a rowboat and kayaks tons of paddles and lifejackets really sets this place apart for me. Only thing missing here is a hot tub, the jets in the master tub do now work which we knew before hand and didn't bother me at all. Wifi was perfect. Hauling the trash to Rambling Bald was new for me but we had a truck so no problem. Checkout instructions were good. Love this place I hope to stay again for sure, maybe catch a fish next time.

The house is beautiful with a lovely lake. I am sure in the summertime you would never have to leave the property. We were there in the fall so we found things to do off property. There is lots to do. We also enjoyed the view, fire pit and game room. A great place for families.

Great little getaway for our families. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our “kids” (18-25) enjoyed playing games, spending time at the lake and sitting by the fire. It was especially memorable for my son who proposed to his girlfriend while rowing in the lake! Would definitely visit again!

My family had a great time at this mountain cabin. My grandchildren enjoyed the activities at rumbling bald resort and we enjoyed a bonfire every night down by the lake. The weather was delightful at the end of September, warm enough for swimming and beach activities during the day and cool enough for the bonfire and s’mores at night. The reservation process and communication with the owners was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Stayed with family for the week. Perfect for a retreat -- the ping pong table was used everyday! Highly recommend staying here. Only negative is having to take the garbage to the Rumbling Bald dumpster, but given the presence of bears in the area, it's probably for the best.

House was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed our stay. Host super responsive. Do be aware that there is only one zone AC and downstairs gets very cold. Did help to close some vents.

The dock and water were perfect for the kids to swim. Lots of noodles and rafts ( we donated a few to the house) perfect for floating-if you have an automatic pump, bring it, or else you will be blowing up rafts for a long time! Beach chairs to bring down to the dock would have been a great addition to the house, so make sure to bring your own. Easy drive to rumbling bald for pool, putt putt, boat rentals and pickle ball. We ate at the Lakeside restaurant on rumbling bald and it was okay- good for kids, not the greatest food, but pretty view. One more large couch would be nice upstairs, to provide seating for atleast the amount of people the house can sleep. Loved the small touches of q tips and cotton balls in the bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. The rooms were quiet and liked that there was an overhead fan in each room. Mattresses were comfy but the beds were squeaky every time you rolled over. They do provide a pack n play, but had to bring our own high chair. We saw a bear the first evening as we enjoyed cocktails on the deck…the bear didn’t seem phased by us, but what an awesome thing to see! Definitely recommend! Jason always responded quickly for check in and questions!

Property owners were very nice. Private dock a plus with small grandkids. Rumbling Bald was five minutes from house so easy access. I would book again.
