I found out that at 61 years old I will no longer be carrying a nice chest up three flights of stairs this property is very nice there are very few minor problems that's to be expected.

Location, location, location! Every day we enjoyed beautiful views from the apartment, majestic beach, spellbinding low tides... It is a very clean, quiet, comfortable place for family vacation.

The Sea Gypsy is literally right next to the beach, and the view is amazing. The condo is very well-furnished and very clean. If you like your bed firm or soft, one bed of each is ready. If your prefer a bed firmness somewhere in-between, you might try a different condo unit here.

Perfect location, excellent views and great communication. Communication before arrival was clear and concise. There was a booklet of info in the livingroom. We didn't have to call front desk for anything. Kitchen was stocked very well, except there was no spatula. Plenty of space, extra blankets, etc. Very clean. One problem is that on a door near the back bedroom the door latch plate thing is barely hanging on by screw, our daughter scraped her arm walking by and I snagged my shirt. That should be repaired. Also, the bed in the back room was VERY firm. I slept fine but it was likentent camping on that bed. The bed in the livingroom was softer. We will be back again...excellent stay.

Enjoyed our annual mother daughter trip to Lincoln City for Antique Week. Rooms were well appointed and had nice options for sleeping arrangements. The bar in the kitchen allowed room to spread out food and snacks. Coffee pot was clean as well as the counters, appliances, and bathrooms. Cozy rooms, beautiful unheated electric fireplace and surround, and the view from the 3rd floor was wonderful. Enjoyed watching the gulls bathing in the D river and the sanderlings or sandpipers that came out and chased the waves under the floodlight that lit up the waves at night. Extra sheets and blankets were appreciated and used though wonder if previous guests put blankets back without leaving them out to be washed. Batteries in the two clocks in the living room were dead but we just used the clock on the microwave as it wasn't a big deal. The previous guests left the utensils and dishes a little greasy but that's why I always wash dishes before I use them no matter where I go and is no reflection on the hosts. New wi-fi was still a bit spotty but have found this to be true all along the shoreline, just a heads up if you need something steady. Was able to stream music pretty regularly but some websites had trouble loading. Overall, had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend, thank you!

This was our second stay at the Sea Gypsy, but our first at Sands to Reason. We were really happy with the Sands to Reason unit, everything was clean and neat. The view is unbeatable and really helps you maximize your appreciation of staying at the ocean. The huge windows are perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. We'll be back!

The room was very clean and cozy, the only thing that could use an update would be the mattress in the living area. It was most uncomfortable.

Great views from upper floors! Bottom floor has chain link fence view, but still full ocean view. Front desk staff very helpful. Furnishings a little outdated, but great accommodation for the price on day it was booked (nothing else available at price point on the entire coast). Would definitely stay again!

The condo was perfect for us. Very close to the beach, wonderful ocean views, and great nights sleep.

I stayed there with my daughter and three grandchildren ages 8 and under. The room was very clean, bright and welcoming. The beds were comfy. The kitchenette was pretty well appointed for how small it is. It's easy access to the beach. We especially appreciated the foot wash at the top of the stairs. We spent two days on the beach and one at the riverside. The kids got a kick out of the window washer. We loved the contactless check-in and out. I didn't give it "5 stars" because it's not fancy but it's an excellent choice for a family stay.

Hi! We did enjoy our stay! However the kitchen pots and pans really need to updated. The coating on some of the pans were peeling off which makes them unsafe to cook on so we were unable to prepare all the meals we had planned on making. Other than that everything else was great. Lincoln city itself was a bit of a disappointment. We have been many times but this was the first time we were disappointed. Not by any fault of the business owners but it was difficult to find a place to eat. The outlet malls was a complete disappointment, prices were ridiculous and a lot of stores still closed. We were still glad to make the trip and had a good time but you could tell it was post-COVID. Thanks for letting us stay with you!

I loved everything about this place. The view was amazing. It was clean, great location in Lincoln City. I only wish the rooms were bigger so my whole family of 8 could stay in one room.

The good: This property was in a great location, right on the beach. The room was large, bigger than a hotel, with two bathrooms. The room has several kitchen items for use if you don't want to eat out each meal. Needs attention: Many of the outlets in the room were broken. We had to unplug lights to have enough outlets to charge phone/devices. The pullout/couch needs attention. There were stains on all areas. The slats on the pullout were broken/detached and the pullout didn't line up with the rest of the couch so we had to put the mattress on a sheet on the floor. The double door situation between the main room and the bedroom isn't ideal. I get why it is there but the location where the three doors meet causes the doors to hit each other. Overall: The pros of this room definitely outweigh the cons. The cons could be fixed by a day of maintenance, outside of a normal cleaning.

The location of this condo is amazing and right on the beach. The listing is accurate and the pictures fairly represent what you are renting. The curtains in both rooms need replacing. The curtains in the bedroom are broken and don’t close all the way, while the metal rings on the curtains & the curtain rod on the main room are very rusted. Although guests are responsible for washing dishes, the staff should check them periodically to see if they are clean. A number of dishes we pulled out needed rewashing.

Plenty of space for a family of 5. All the necessary kitchen supplies were on site. Great location for quick access to the beach.

This was a great property. So close to the beach and the tide pools. It had all the amenities that we needed. My only 2 comments (not complaints, as we were very happy with our stay), are: 1) We specifically booked this particular room because it had a fireplace. However, when we got there, the fireplace was disable to not put out heat, and it was for ambience only. I understand the premise for it, but it would have been nice if we were told that ahead of time, I may have selected a different room. 2) The room was decorated in a very homey way...lots of pictures and knickknacks. While that makes it feel a lot more comfortable, it was not cleaned well, so it was very dusty.

Ive been coming to the sea gypsy for just about 7 years at least once per year sometimes multiple times. I have always loved it. However, this time, the bedding looked and smelled dirty in the front room. My partner and I moved the back bedding to the front room, but given the current times, it would be much better if the bedding looked and smelled clean.

I loved my time here! The ocean & river view kept me blissed out the whole time. Comfy bed and fully stocked kitchen were excellent. I only had a couple issues: noisy neighbors til after 11pm, the hot water was only lukewarm, and electric fireplace didn't work. I called management about the fireplace and water and they fixed the problem the next day. They were highly responsive and resolved the problem so quickly; I was deeply appreciative. The noisy neighbors sucked. While the room was wonderful, it is a popular spot and busy location with public beach access next door. All in all, I'd rate my room, #325, the highest possible marks. If you're wanting a quiet visit, someplace else would be better.

Sands to Reason was a wonderful location for our family's spring break. The lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The unit was clean and well stocked with pots and pans. There wasn't a 9x13 pan, which would have been helpful but we made do with the other cookware. There was plenty of bedding and towels for everyone. The view just can't be beat. I'm sure we'll be back.

We loved the beach access! The room was clean but very dated, the beds were super uncomfortable - and you can hear the neighbors loud and clear- the staff was great to work with super customer service- and the pool was fun- we loved the view from the room but found the furnishings quite awful- we are going back and will try a different condo next time-

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 days at the beach for the New Year's holiday. Our view from the dining table was such a treat. We were able to watch the storm move in and the waves. We would definitely stay here again, we will be back!

Had a wonderful time. It was perfect for a relaxing mom's weekend away.

We found some left over pudding wrappers on side of coach. Hair on bed pillow. Bathroom toilet was also running in guest room & it did not flush. We were Able to get maintenance to fix it the next morning. However we loved the view & front desk were nice.

This condo is perfect! Affordable, clean, and the location can't be beat. We will definitely be back.

We loved this place. Check in was super easy. The place was spotless and adorable. And it was right on the beach with an amazing view. Just what we needed for a weekend getaway. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay there again. :)
