Beautiful and big condo. Well equiped and nice pool.

Our vacation and stay at Honua Kai was lovely. The facility is beautiful. Pools were plentiful and our family enjoyed them everyday of our stay. The condo is comfortable and the building is well kept. My only feedback for improvement would be: I wish check in wasn’t 5pm. That is a bit late when flying in with kids to wait for a room. When we asked for an earlier check -in, they granted 4pm but the room still wasn’t ready. Industry standard check in would be 2pm. And this unit needs some appliance work. Clothes and Hair dryers both didn’t work.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property and will be back! The lush grounds are meticulously kept and the rooms are large and spacious and very clean with all the comforts of home. The beach is steps away and Dukes was great to have on property for food and drinks with a. Great take out option! We absolutely loved our stay and will return!

Ideal location. Wonderful snorkeling and beaches

Just stayed a week at Honua Kai Konea 345 and the unit was really beautiful and exactly as pictured. This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for my family of 4 plus 2 extra family guests in 2nd bedroom. Had our own bathroom which was a must! Cabanas were great to book too! Only downside of Honua Kai that I didn't know until our stay is they don't offer room service and Dukes has a VERY long wait time, so I you have kids and spent allll day at the pool and want to get them fed at a reasonable time, you should place your name at dukes early, or plan to just order for dukes pick up. Otherwise, fabulous trip!

We ate on the patio every meal and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and view. Onsite staff was very helpful and property management were very responsive (especially the last minute request for an air mattress). Wish the kitchen would have been a little more stocked (spices, etc...). The beach directly outside has the best snorkeling we found anywhere else on the island.

Great location, great stay. Pricing was high but we booked last minute.

Konea 345 is exactly as described! Two huge bedrooms with king size beds and a spacious living room and kitchen in between. Plenty of space for our group of 6 and a baby. We appreciated all the included extras ... a high chair, air mattress, beach toys and chairs. The lanai is big, with great views of the grounds, pools and ocean. The condo was well equipped for cooking in and included coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper. Very family friendly ... our kids loved the water slide and pools and there were several areas for our toddler to play in too. The beach is just steps away ... it's not big but there was enough room for us all to play and sit. The food at Duke's restaurant was great and it had several kids meal options. Maui Resort Rentals was excellent to deal with and kept in touch during our stay. Bell staff were kind and helpful. We all loved the resort and would book this condo again!

We had a great experience. Property was as described, clean, good location, the staff was there to help bring everything up when needed.

Very good hotel, very friendly for family with kids. we have 2 bedroom with 2 king size bed, also there is a airbed to use. Full kitchen essential, and the Hawaii coffee as welcome gift is very good. Love the hotel and people, will stay again and recommend to friends.

4 stars for the condo. 3 stars for the pool/beach. The condo was well equipped, spacious and bright. Only stocked with salt and pepper though so you have to buy absolutely everything for cooking. Pool area is cramped and poorly designed. Had a hard time finding a place to sit everyday. There are no tables and terrible service at the pool. We literally begged waiters to deliver drinks and when they arrived, they were mini-sized at the same prices as the restaurant. Beach area has limited safe space so it creates more demand at the pool. I can see the value for families because the kids pool and play area looks great and fun for younger kids. However, if you’re traveling without kids, there are few outdoor areas to enjoy. Even the tweens were displaced though because they migrated to the adults pool to play catch every day. Dukes restaurant is fantastic for food, drink and atmosphere but you must book days in advance if you want a regular dinner-hour meal. I won’t rent here again even though the condo itself was lovely.

We stayed in Konea 345 just prior to Christmas 2018. This was our third visit to the Honua Kai property for our family of 5 - with the spacious condo units, three pools, and ability to walk the beach every morning this is a great place to stay for families. While only a partial ocean view, the view from the unit was exactly as pictured, and close enough to hear the crash of the surf when sitting out on the lanai. We intentionally sought out a south facing courtyard unit like this one so we could enjoy the sun on the lanai and the open air for the whole trip. The unit was very well equipped for cooking in, with the grocery store located just off the property and we used the common BBQ's several nights as well. Duke's restaurant on the property was well used for a few meals and pool side drinks when we didn't feel like cooking or driving for dinner. Maui Resort Rentals was excellent to deal with, and followed up with us multiple times to ensure everything was going as expected. We would happily stay in the unit on our next vacation to Maui. So quiet and confortable! Beds were amazing! Loved having breakfast on the Lanai every morning and fit us and our 4 teen daughters well!

We’ve been coming to Honua Kai for years. This particular unit was perfect for us (family of 3). Everything was clean, functional, communication with the property manager was great ! Not to mention the view. Look forward to coming back.

The Honua Kai resort is beautiful. This IS our favorite place of all the places we have stayed at in Maui! The Condo was perfect with the view! We would stay here again!

We were so pleased with this condo, it is one of the larger suites. We were there for our daughters wedding and therefore had relatives and guests in and out. The living room opens onto the patio (telescoping doors), making for a spacious living area. The location was great; close to the pool, lobby, dukes, and a great view. Not ocean front, but close. The condo was well stocked, clean, and both bathrooms were large. Definitely would rent again.

Property was beautiful and had all the ammenities you would need. Restaurant (Dukes) was fabulous. Especially the seafood risotto.

this place is fantastic for families, plenty of room and all the amenities you could ask for. We didn't want to leave. Working with Christopher was a pleasure, every detail was taken care of. We're already planning our return next year.

Hotel and room were great. Beach is nice, but rocky.

We had a wonderful time. Unit was beautiful and everything we'd hoped it would be. Except for the noise from the above unit the vacation was perfect. We will definitely return to Honua Kai in the future. Great spot for families as well as couples.

The rental company was delightful and very easy to work with. Everything was just perfect. The condo is gorgeous and once we compared it to others in the area, we realized how glad we were to be at Honua Kai. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer was a life saver. Trip of a lifetime!

Lovely apartment, that was great for the four of us. The second room can be made into two twin beds so that our kids could share a room. My only complaint would be that if you want to cook in the apartment, the kitchen is not well stocked. For example, just One saucepan and one cooking tray. But we had a great stay and the amenities and Dukes resterant onsite make it easy. We were also woken everyday early in the morning by scraping of furniture from the above apartment, which was a bit annoying. Be warned it was extremely busy in July and the resterant gets very booked up. So expect long waits. Plus the waitress staff at the pool were not very good at coming around and forgot to bring the order to us both times when we ordered food at the pool. Overall a very pleasant stay with a few small niggles (noise, busy & poor service around the pool & long waits in the resterant).

Honua Kai Konea 345 was a beautiful condo! It was exactly as advertised and as the online pictures showed. It was fully stocked for everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella for the beach. The keyless bracelet system was perfect. Honua Kai is a friendly and fun resort. It is centrally located between Lahaina and Kapalua. The market and shops across the street were very convenient. We were completely comfortable and enjoyed 6 wonderful days. Nicole at Maui Resort Rentals was helpful and friendly. We would go back anytime!

We stayed at Honua Kai for 6 nights. The condo was exactly as described and incredibly beautiful. Everything was very clean, we couldn't have asked for anything better. We needed an extra blanket, Chris brought it to us within a couple of hours. It was great knowing if we had any issues at all we could contact Maui Resort Rentals at any time. Having Dukes on site was great. The Women's Softball World Series was on while we were there and loved grabbing a drink, watching the game, and being able to see the ocean all at the same time! The gym on property is way too small for the amount of people they are trying to serve. That was the only issue we had with the property. We will definitely be coming back and booking through Maui Resort Rentals.
