Easy check in and check out. House was clean with plenty of towels, dishes and utensils. Parking space was nice, a little challenge to get in and out of driveway. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

We enjoyed our stay here. A great value, and walking distance to a wide range of dining and shopping options. Neighborhood was nice and clean and felt very safe. We would stay here again. Close to freeways, a fairly easy drive to so much that LA has to offer without the crushing traffic and other issues.

The driveway was a challenge 😁, but this is a great place and walkable to shops, restaurants, and grocery. Loved it and will definitely stay here again.

The home is cozy for the family . I loved The natural lighting and decor. My husband and kids were extremely satisfied with our stay. If we are ever back in the area we do hope to stay here again.

I was very happy with the cleanliness and location. It was iust as described in the listing. Wade was gracious enough to fulfill my request for staying another night. The house waa very comfortable and the beds were amazing. Loved the outdoor spaces. The neighborhood is very safe and upscale.

This was a great little gem in a really great area! Beautiful neighborhood and just a short walk to beautiful Honolulu Ave! It really did feel safe and like a friendly area. So many people out walking their famines and pups, and older folks out exercising. Wasn’t an area we would have ever seen on our own so we felt really lucky to experience the neighborhood. Wish we could have stayed one more night so we could have spent more time checking out the neighborhood. So this property is an older house but it was just what it said…no surprises there. It was just what we needed for our three night stay. We weren’t there much…went to universal studios and just came back “home” to shower and sleep and do laundry. (Bring your own detergent. We went and bought some at the nearby Vons.). This was cheaper and more comfortable for my family than a Hotel room. Wade was responsive and helpful. I did inform him there was only one washcloth for the five of us and he ordered some more washcloths for future guests. (We found some kitchen towels we used during our stay and that was sufficient.) The driveway (which is shared, although we never had anyone else park next to us….if they did I’m not sure how we could have gotten in or out) is quite narrow and steep. We were not prepared and our trailer raked the ground on the way up the first time. We took the trailer off and when we left to head home, we loaded it on the street. (Just something to consider for those towing something.)

This is a lovely little place and was perfect for us. The host was very responsive and even messaged to give us tips about a local farmers market we might enjoy. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were soooo very comfortable. It was great having a dedicated parking spot for our rental car so we didn't have to park on the street, however the driveway was a little tight and steep to turn into. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. This was perfect for our needs and we'd definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this charming, updated older California home and enjoyed our stay. It is located in a nice area, near a bunch of restaurants and a Trader's Joe and was about 20 minute drive away from Universal Studios theme park (reason for our stay). We liked the updated touches in the house, heater worked great (it was below 50 F in Southern Cali during our stay), and I appreciated all the hooks to hang towels and jackets. We didn't bring our dogs this time, but the place has a nice yard for kids and/or dogs. Parking is a pain Socal, so we appreciated having one spot on the narrow, uphill driveway (modern cars make it easy to park away in the driveway). I definitely recommend this place if you are staying in the LA area!

My family of four enjoyed staying in this home in the charming town of Montrose, California. Our accommodations were comfortable, the location was excellent for walking to local restaurants and stores (including Starbucks, Trader Joe’s, and the local Sunday Farmer’s Market), as well as easy access to LA. The yard was a big hit. We had great weather and with all the windows in the house, we let the fresh air in. Cute house with plenty of room. The kitchen is small but has everything. There were some issues with the couch. We enjoyed our stay. I'd go back. Love the area.

My wife and 2 little kids made this house our home base for a vacation week in the LA area and we loved it. A great bedroom for the kids, loaded with toys and games. Relaxing outdoor property and close access to all kinds of shops and restaurants and Trader Joe's right in the downtown area. Wade was very helpful and quick to respond to any issues. Hello all, We are just leaving this amazing property. We stayed October 11, 2022-October 14, 2022 for our Arizona fall break. We chose this property because of the great reviews, proximity to Universal Studios and because it had a fenced in yard for our kids to play in. I’m so happy that we chose this property. My family raved all week about how wonderful the property was and how special Montrose is. Montrose is like a city I’ve only seen in the movies. Absolutely stunning and the people have a personality to match. We walked to Trader Joe’s, Starbucks and had a quick drive to Griffith park and Universal Studios. Wade the owner is professionalism and kindness to the max!!!! I couldn’t even wait to get home to write the review (I’m sitting in my car in front of Wades home lol). This was seriously our best family vacation. Thank you Wade and to everyone who wrote accurate, amazing reviews. You won’t be disappointed.

If you need a crash pad in a great spot in Montrose, this is perfect. Walking distance to so many things, and a great little bungalow. Wifi, washer/dryer, nice little kitchen, just a good little spot. We appreciated and enjoyed. Stocked with coffee and the essentials.

This location was perfectly located for us to visit family in Glendale and the Woodland Hills area. Quick access to the major freeways enabled us to get to most locations in under an hour - even with LA Freeway traffic. :-) The Montrose location has a ton of restaurants and shops that are an easy walk from the house. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make some meals too.

The place was clean and worked so great for our group. Host was a fantastic communicator and we appreciated all the amenities to make sure our stay was smooth!

Wade his it out of the park! This house is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located to shops and restaurants. The yard is shady and enjoyable.

Lodging for visiting family is very limited in Montrose/ La Crescenta, this place fills the bill perfectly!

We really enjoyed our stay in Montrose. The house was very clean. Wade always answered questions in a timely manner. We even requested an additional night due to a cancelled flight and he had replied within a few hours. Great communication. The town is great. Groceries, coffee, restaurants all within a mile and very friendly and safe (which was key for us traveling with our parents in their 70's along with my sister and I. Loved it and would highly recommend. I have stayed in over 20 VRBO's and this was one of the best.

Amazing location in Montrose, SO easily walkable to shopping, restaurants, etc. Very quiet at the house, had everything we needed, and wonderful outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Only a short walk to downtown Montrose, yet in quiet neighborhood. Wade very helpful when we had questions.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The bunkbeds are best suited for smaller children although our boys, ages 10 and 13, were OK. The pull-out sofa bed was adequate. Master bedroom a delight! Living area (both inside and out) worked well for the 5 of us! Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Montrose!

My parents and I stayed in Wade's house in Montrose and had a fantastic week. The accommodations were well kept and inviting and Wade was both responsive to our needs and offered suggestions for things to do in the neighborhood. We loved every minute of this trip.

Just as expected! This location is so nice with many walkable shops and restaurants and great to be outside the "busy" of LA but close enough for a day trip to the beach or amusement parks. Would definitely stay again!!
