Our overall experience at this property was good!

House is very dated and needs a good update , but was okay for what we needed: a place to sleep. Price was a little high for this place. An umbrella for the patio would have been great. A working lantern or strong flashlights would be good for power outages.

When entering the house you are overwhelmed by an odor that compares to water damage or mold. The floors both upstairs and downstairs have obviously suffered water damage. The dishes were still greasy. I woke up our last night to my bed filled with carpenter ants. However, it is in a nice location and 15 minutes from attractions.

Quiet peaceful stay, a little outdated but it was an enjoyable stay, wish they had a grill or a fire pit for smores but other than that it was a great week!

We had a nice Memorial Day weekend at this property. The owner was very helpful and quick with responding. The house is very specious, little bit old, but everything is there! Unfortunately the weather was awful... really cold and rainy. But we visited Bushkills Falls, which is beautiful and close and Delaware Water Gap, also great! We hope to come back sometime!

This was an interesting home. Everything we wanted or needed. If you're looking for a nice home with extra room and a woodsy feel for a ski vacation, it is absolutely perfect.

My husband and two close friends of ours stayed at this cabin for the weekend we had a great time we love the wood-burning stove in the living room and the mattresses were extremely comfortable! Nicely stocked kitchen and responsive owner!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Via Montella for our anniversary. It was the first trip to the Pocono area for both of us. The house was clean and cozy. Location was about 10 miles outside of Stroudsburg and we enjoyed exploring the town. We also checked out Bushkill Falls and the Delaware Water Gap area. The home suited our needs for the trip well; even our dog enjoyed herself. We found the bed we used to be comfortable, the little stove in the living room created a cozy atmosphere, the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The outside patio was great for my husband to practice his guitar and our dog loved the selection of tree branches in the yard. We weren’t expecting to have neighbors so close but the ones we met were friendly!I would highly recommend Via Montella to our friends and family!

We enjoyed a quiet respite from city life in this cozy getaway. We were greeted with clean and tidy accommodations and a generous supply of firewood which we enjoyed throughout our stay. We had everything we needed to feel perfectly at home. Thank you for a great experience!

The owner is very nice and responds very quickly. The place is secluded and sits on large property. The house is not new and don't expect it to be fancy. It did the job for us. We would come back again. There is not much of a community there but Delaware river is close.

My family if 4 and our dog had a great vacation in this house. Clean, friendly neighbors and the owner was pleasant to deal with. Quick to answer any question I had. Close to a lot of fun outdoor activities. We never wanted to leave!

It was a good stay. Fairly convenient to the Del Water Gap.

First, I have to compliment the owners for working so hard to make our trip successful. They were patient and responded quickly on the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was more than spacious enough for us, and the owners have instructions posted throughout the house to make it easy to get settled. The place was clean and everything was more than serviceable condition. There were plenty of blankets for when it got cold at night. It is close to wildlife and recreation areas, there were actually 3 deer when we pulled into the driveway, and we could hear a vixen fox howling nearby while unloading our truck. This is a great value and we hope to visit again soon.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Peaceful Pocono Getaway.Home was clean and cozy . Location is beautiful .The area was very quiet and peaceful .Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Lot of nature activities within close distance. Hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, tubing and more. Far from home are many shops, cafes and restaurants. I warmly recommend this getaway to anyone.

House was in good shape just like picture. Kids had plenty of room to play inside and outside..only problem I had was bed's owners reported he will fix that he was quick to respond and was easy to fine house and to get in house...we will rent again

Everything was above and beyond especially the owner. Are only concern was that the shower had very little pressure. I am sure that was due to the water saver on the shower head.

We stayed for 7 weeks while waiting to close on our new home. Anthony was very easy to deal with and helped make our transition a little smoother than otherwise. The house is very comfortable in a convenient location. We brought our pets and they were very comfortable there also.

The stay was very comforting, very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this weekend.

Great house with wonderful surroudnings. We really enjoyed having BBQ in the woods. The house is in proximity to many attractions (e.g. water parks, rafting, etc.) We will definitely stay again next time we visit the Poconos

Perfect house for a Pocono getaway. We had a great time being so close to Shawnee mountain but still away from it all. Nice and relaxing stay, pretty neat house. Owner was great to work with; responded to all of my emails very promptly.

My group arrived on a late Friday night and found the house warm and very comfortable. We booked the rental in a tight window and the owner was responsive in helping us meet our budget. We enjoyed our stay very much and it really is a great place for friends and family. I definitely hope to rent it again sometime in the future!

I stayed at this rental property for 3 nights and the accommodations were great! It was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities to compliment our stay, including dishware, cable, wifi, patio, and more. This is a wonderful selection for a quiet getaway in the Poconos and I would recommend it to anyone.

Our recent holiday vacation was beautiful, we had a lot of good moments at the house with my family. Plenty of space for six people. House was very nice, cozy, and comfortable. We are planning to rent it during the summer one or may be two times more. Owner is very responsive and you can tell they care about your trip to the area.

We travel to the area annually for tournaments and sporting events and would recommend anyone to rent from you who is looking to do the same. We will definitely be back next year. The owner was wonderful to work with! There was plenty of room. It was great sitting in the living room watching TV, with the wood stove burning while it was raining outside. There was a feel of privacy with the wooded surroundings. We went for a walk near the creek and found everyone very friendly in the area.

Our weekend stay was perfect. The owner was always available via cell phone.The home's appearance was accurately depicted in the photos on line. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, but my family enjoyed the ride into town on the winding scenic roads.We also enjoyed the peace and quiet for sleeping and soul searching. One could really get into nature for the soft rustling of the trees, the sweet sound of birds and squirrles scampering around were welcoming sights expecially when one comes from a big noisey city. The property was well maintain and we just enjoyed the big screen TV for watching our favorite movies. Outside the grill was fired up and we prepared delicious smoked meats and vegetables fit for a king. The grounds were clean and the new patio with a motion light for the dark nights allowed us to remain outside longer. Bring your spray for the mosquitos are out and about, but not in droves like I expected. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. Especially the large master with the cute little twin bedroom attached. This would be the perfect place to sleep a small child who needs the security of adults close by. The bathroom had no soaking tub, which was fine with us for we enjoyed the walk in shower with dual shower heads sprinkling our rears as we soaped our fronts. The water was nice and hot and easy to adjust, but small children need monitoring. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitaly return for some more much needed quiet pleasure. If you are into decore like granit counter tops, stainless steel appliances, cathedral ceilings and jetted tubs this may not be the place for you. However, if you like the simple, but necessary aminities in a home you will find this home a pleasant and comfortable place to stay, we did. just as it was described
