House is in great location by the lake and close to great coffee shop!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location walking distance to the water and downtown, great view of the lake! Vrbo had everything we needed. Great communication with host.

Fun getaway in a great location

We’ve enjoyed staying at what my kids call “The Red House” for several years. The house and backyard with a view of Lake Pepin are top notch. We love the location.

We had a mother daughter trip and the place was absolutely perfect! Great location to Lake Pepin and beautiful view. Nancy was so accommodating n helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and Quiet

Great location. I love the patio in the backyard where we can sit and see the lake, plus grill and have a campfire. Plus there is a nice sitting porch in the front of the house to sit on a rainy day. This house gets an A+ for comfort and cleanliness.

We loved the cottage and will be back again. We loved how everything in town is in walking distance, and there are so many places to see angst things to do within 30 minutes. We were in town for a high School bass tournament. There is plenty of room for a boat and trailer, and external outlets on the garage to charge overnight.

We stayed here for a local fishing tournament, and couldn’t be happier with the property and host !! Highly recommend !

Great place to stay! It was snowing upon our arrival, so we appreciated the puzzles and games stocked in the house. The kitchen has a nice view of the lake, and the location is just a block from the marina. We especially liked the cute lake house decor, warm blankets, nice TVs, and dimmable overhead light fixtures. Highly recommend!

Great little cottage to relax for the weekend. Clean and had the things we need. Nancy popped in today hi when we arrived and her number was in numerous places to get in touch with her if anything was needed. Great coffee shop across the street too.

This was our second stay here and won’t be our last. With mild weather this winter we enjoyed the warmth of the cozy front porch. The house has all of the necessary amenities. Many windows and a large backyard provide for excellent views of Lake Pepin. It’s steps away from Heidi’s Huggamug Cafe who provides great coffee with breakfast and lunch. The location is within walking distance of the marina and downtown area businesses. We enjoy hiking and biking and it is situated between Wabasha (National Eagle Center) and Red Wing where there are many parks and trails in the area. So, enjoy the outdoors and relax indoors.

We enjoyed the comfortable accommodations. The large kitchen was nice. The nice breakfast and lunch cafe across the street was convenient. We visited Wabasha and Red Wing while we were there. Comfortable bed.

Picked this listing based on reviews and location. We were planning on skiing at Coffee Mills in Wabasha but Mother Nature had other things in store! No snow. We ended up walking at Frontenac state park which was amazing and we saw many Eagles on this trip. The reviews are spot on about this cottage. This cottage has a lot of space to relax. We especially enjoyed the sun hitting our face at sunset while sitting in front porch or relaxing in the chair by the electric fireplace which has a nice heater blowing on you. The kitchen has unobstructed views of Lake Pepin which was really nice while you’re eating breakfast. This is a cottage for all seasons! Don’t forget to get Papa Tronnios for pizza and walk literally steps to Heidi’s Huggamug for coffee and breakfast or lunch.

We thoroughly enjoyed this clean and tidy home during our 4 day stay in Lake City. The house is very comfortable, inviting and stocked with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to downtown restaurants. The interior of the house and the exterior are obviously well taken care of.

The cottage was perfect! Our family had a great weekend enjoying the cute town of Lake City and the cottage had the perfect amenities for us to relax and take in the beautiful fall weekend. We will definitely be back!

This is an older cottage with large bedrooms, smaller bathrooms, slope ceilings on your way upstairs, just had to duck a little, but this made this place so quaint! Wonderful patio where you could see the lake and watch the squirrels run around, getting walnuts and bury them. It is within walking distance of shopping and across the street was Heidi’s Coffee Shop. Excellent coffee and omelets! We would stay here again when we plan on being in Lake City, Mn.

This is our third time staying in this beautiful house. We enjoyed this place so much we are talking about coming back again.

Comfortable, clean and close to the lake

We had a delightful stay in this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed for a family wedding weekend getaway. It has a nice view of the lake, a very comfy glider, and two nice porches. It is close to Heidi’s Hugamug cafe (highly recommend!).

Two couples we had a great time, cottage is as described. Excellent location close to everything and view of the river.

Clean house. I enjoy seeing the lake sitting in the backyard. Love taking walks by the lake . Cute shops in town. Enjoy visiting the wineries in the area. I’ve been here 4 times and I’ll be back. Lots to do in the area or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed staying at this charming, comfortable cottage for our girls getaway for many reasons! Lots of room to hangout and relax. Beautiful lake view from the kitchen and patio. Excellent Hugamug coffee shop nearby. Friendly shopkeepers. Great lunch at Chickadee Cottage Cafe. Short ride to Red Wing for shopping and lunch at Scarlet Restaurant. We hope to stay here again!

Relaxing, clean well furnished, good location, expectations spelled out clearly but not burdensome upon departure. Cancelation policy was reasonable and lenient, from my perspective. Would rent again if need arises.

We had a great stay in Lake City! The VRBO is positioned just off Lake Pepin. It is within walking distance of great coffee, restaurants, cute shops. The home is older but well maintained. If you are over 6 feet tall, watch your head when going upstairs. Highly recommend for a family or 2 couples to stay!

What a lovely cottage conveniently located near downtown Lake City, walkable to almost everything. (We even walked to the bowling alley after dinner for a fun game!) The cottage was appointed with a variety of nice antiques and modern pieces. The weather was quite hot outside for our visit and the A/C worked very well. The outside area in the backyard faces Lake Pepin and we loved hanging out there in the evenings. Thanks again to our hosts!

The cottage was even more charming in person than on the photos! Comfortable, very clean and well stocked. There is a huge screen TV in the living area for watching movies/shows in the evening. Nice view of the lake from the kitchen and outside. Outside there is a large, comfortable bench swing that could easily accommodate 3 adults.
