Nice location and community. Due to the location the property is in, some bugs here and there. We adults were okay with it but our kids didn't like it. Also, 2 showers had low water pressure and drainage problem. Other than that, property owner was available in case of questions and overall, good experience.

Great experience! Plenty of parking for our five vehicles and plenty of room for all 14 of us. Back deck is terrific - roomy, secluded, and peaceful with plenty of seating. Basement and sunroom are separate enough so that adults can have a conversation upstairs while the teens play downstairs. Close to lake and hiking, with several pools to choose from within the community. Only downside, the community did not offer guest passes, so we had to take turns going to the pool. Very clean. The house is somewhat dated, but beds are comfortable and kitchen is stocked with tons of kitchenware. You will want to bring beach towels for the pool and washcloths (not provided.) Community workers were super friendly!

Property is good but this is the only property, I have encountered so far that needs a lot of follow up for the deposit amount and no response from the owners. That is the reason for lesser stars. Wonderful working kitchen, living room and sun room were great .The basement bedrooms were cold and musty. Everyone loved their mattress.

Since our family of 8 live in 3 different states, we have started meeting once a year in various places in the US. Of course COVID 19 canceled our plans last year. Since none of us have ever been to the Poconos, we choose that for our location this year. We have used Vrbo for several years to find a house that fits our needs and they had what we wanted this year. The property at Saw Creek had lots of inside space for everyone. There are bedrooms on all 3 levels and plenty of bathrooms (4) so that no one had to wait to find one to use. I thought that the roomy deck would be the favorite gathering spot, but we spent a lot of time in the well equipped kitchen which is intergrated with the family room. At the end of a day of hiking and sightseeing, we were always happy to return to the property to eat and rest. The location of Saw Creek gave us easy traveling to various sites. However, when arriving in Bushkill we did have difficulty locating Saw Creek. Once we got to Saw Creek, the property was easy to find. The directions to Saw Creek were not very clear to us, but we were able to call the caretaker and get directions. The only other recommendation we have would be to provide bathmats. This was the only rental house we have had that did not provide mats. I am sure that winter visitors would really appreciate them even more than summer guests.

Great location for a weekend getaway and some snow tubing.

The house was clean and well organized. The rooms had plenty of distance between them and plenty of bathrooms. All ages had a ton of fun.

The house is great and our family enjoy the stay. The house owner and properly manager is easy to reach and respond our concern quick. The only reason I give three stars for the cleanliness because one of the room carpet and bed lining seem have not clean from last use.

The house and amenities therein were amazing. Our whole family, from teenagers to "seniors" found things to keep us busy, from the terrific game room to the wonderful library. We enjoyed the comfortable interior. We would definitely recommend it to future guests.

This place is amazing. All of us in the group enjoyed this cabin and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to create memories. All the rooms are spacious and everyone in our group had only good things to say about our entire stay. The owners are great hosts and were very prompt with communication prior to our stay and also during the stay.

Our initial impression after getting out of the cars was not a good one. There was debris in the driveway area which included a pair of old underwear. The deck was very dirty, covered in outdoor debris and pieces of trash scattered around. The deck furniture was moldy and dirty. We took pictures and would attach them if possible. The interior is very attractive and the house is beautifully laid out with plenty of room. The cleanliness was below par as well, however, and the supplies of toilet paper and paper towels was mimimal. Considering the cost and the presentation on line, we expected much more. We had a fun time, even so, due to the people we were with, but we would not rent this house again or recommend it.

Perfect place to stay in poconos for 16 people

We had a great time and even though the weather didn't play nice with us and we couldn't get around the area a lot but we still made the most of it inside this beautiful house. They have a well stocked kitchen and a nice layout . I particularly liked the way the kitchen is accessible from the living area. I can see how it can be an awesome gathering place for a thanksgiving dinner. The hosts were very responsive and accommodated all our requests. Definitely worth a repeat.

Amazing location in Poconos not far from Bushkill falls and interesting trails, spacious place with beautiful views in almost every bedroom and deck, cozy for 16 adults, fully functional appliances such as microwave, stove, A/C, fans, etc. The pool table, dart board and entertainment units in basement was at perfect condition and we had quite some fun. Checking in and out was very systematic and the property manager followed up properly with text/calls. I would highly recommend to families and large parties.

The cabin wasn't up to date in many ways. Stayed for 2 nights, 3 days. Check-in was easy. There is no additional parking outside of the house itself- it is not a small gated community where the amenities are within walking distance. But parking at the amenity spaces are available. We were able to fit 7 cars comfortably, 8 cars at an angle. The house was musky smelling when we came in (arrived on a rain weekend). The basement was too humid even though an old humidifier was there. The A.C. in the living room functioned great- it cooled the living room space very well. The house interior itself could use some updating (definitely not worth the money we paid)- the kitchen could be more modern, the bathrooms were nice but the downstairs shower had 2 holes in the actual shower where a rod should be, the sofa beds were beyond uncomfortable. I like that there was a thick floor mattress and pillows in the linen closet but not enough bedding (pillowcase, fitted, flat sheet, comforter etc) to cover them. The kitchen sink didn't look nice- not that a white ceramic sink is easy to maintain. Thr refridgerator wasn't cooling when we got there- we had spoiled yogurt/milk. It took the refridgerator overnight to cool our food and drinks. And it was on the highest setting. But it's possible that since we came with many lukewarm items, that is what took so long. But i didn't expect an 8hour cooling window either. The fans in the living room were really hard to turn on. The building manager kept telling me I had to "keep trying different ways to press on the remote buttons, to keep fidgeting with it" but even after doing so and passing to multiple people to try, it didn't work. We don't know how it turned on finally the next day. To the owners, please change the remote. Again-outdated experience. The place wasn't cooled by the time we got there even though the building manager went ahead of time to do a walkthrough. Building manager was not too professional- a little rude and curt in her tone, she was late to call for check-in, and didn't call at check-out if and when she did a walk through of the property. Sunroom still has this outdated, VHS 10in TV. Everything just looked so outdated. The billiards table & equipment downstairs is shabbily maintained. There is no overhead lighting in the common areas-only table lamps. Makes for a very dim place after dusk. The house is large, only 4 true bedrooms- all other beds are in loft area & uncomf sofa bed

The place was clean and had all the amenities. Individual air conditioners and fans. Also very roomy but the dining table was for 6 people. Great breakfast nook at the kitchen and open area. Barbequing quick and easy to use. Very good community with indoor/outdoor pools, racquetball courts, tennis courts... The lake very small but able to use the kayaks and paddle boats. Nice getaway not far from NYC and easy to get to.

The property resides in a gated community which was a little bit of a hassle to get through (organizing carpools, gathering license plates and such) - but it was worth it. The community is quiet, clean and beautiful. Plenty to do on the grounds and bars and restaurants are at most 15 minutes out. We slept 16 people comfortably and the provided amenities gave us everything we needed. I would recommend this property to the next group of 30 somethings looking to escape from the daily grind for a weekend. We had a summer stay and made use of the pools, but I’m sure winter months are just as fun if not more so.

For the most part, the house met our expectations and was appropriately represented. I say "for the most part" because there are a few things that could be improved. The dart board is non-functional. The pool cues don't have tips. I mention this because we basically picked this house based on it's game room since we had 12 year old boys that needed to be entertained. Also, we couldn't figure out how to make the game room TV connect to Netflix, but that was probably our fault. Finally, some things are sort of falling apart like some cabinets in the kitchen and fixtures in the bathrooms. But...this is all kind of nit-picky. Overall, the house worked out great for us and we would recommend it for others.

I think five star is not enough for this property. Greatly maintain cabin style house is middle of woods gives deep privacy. interior with full size glass doors at main lavel as well as basement of house gives a amazing ambience of cabin house. Landlord and property manager are very caring and available round the clock for any emergency. Overall we had great experience....would love rent it again and again..... This is a perfect vacation home, we were a group of 3 families and rented this house over the long weekend. We had kids ranging from 6 years old to 11 years and trust me this house has perfect basement to keep kids entertained through out. They have a pool table which is in excellent shape, huge tv screen with x-box installed, foosball table (brand new) and excellent setup in bedrooms (bunk bed) for kids to enjoy thoroughly. There is abundant space all over, all beds and comfortable and owners did a good job in maintaining the cleanliness, sheets are fresh, owners even provide good toiletries and bathrooms are really spic and span. The best part is outside deck which runs across the entire back wall of the house with enough seating for all, they have a new gas grill as well !!! We happen to use the community club on the top of the mountain which has a open swimming pool with a tiki bar that was fun for both adults and kids and also there is an inside pool with a jacuzzi for those who want to enjoy the hot-tub. Kitchen is superb and well equipped, owners have provided everything that one would need to make a good weekend meal, all the shelves are well labelled , enough glasses, plates pots and pans etc. All in all I would it's a great place for a stay, complete package with all the amenities, comfortable and fun for everyone !!!

I stayed at this cabin with a group of friends and it was a great experience right from the start. The owners were very hands on and took care of every single detail and were super flexible with all the numerous requests we kept throwing at them. I've rented quite a few vacation rentals but this one was by far the cleanest I've come across. Even the barbecue grill was clean which I have never come across in any rental before. Bonus points for that. The registration process was a tad onerous because of the strict HOA rules everything else was super easy from the detailed instructions and tips that the owner gave us to all the labels kept on all the house appliances and drawers etc making it very easy for us to find things. Super organized and fully loaded kitchen with everything and their mother present in it. The game room was where we hung out the most as it has everything you need for a fun night. The sound system and TV are fantastic and so were all the games and the pool table available which we took full advantage off and because of which we actually did not get enough time to enjoy the amenities.They even had a toy room filled with toys and high chairs for kids. Will definitely repeat.

I stayed here with a fairly large group of friends, but didn't feel squished at all. The place is gorgeous with awesome fireplaces everywhere, large cooking area, and it was very clean with a nice hotel touch (baskets on every bed with towels and little shampoos). The game room is great with a huge TV and great surround sound system. The pool table and Foosball table were good quality, but make sure you bring your own chalk for pool. The only negative was the entrance, which was very strict about the driver's name and plate being on the list. Also, we ordered pizza but the driver would only meet us at the gate (per strict entering rules) and ended up taking quite some time because they were at the back entrance waiting for us while we were at the front gate (didn't no there were two entrances). BUT overall it was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone trying to enjoy a secluded weekend in the Poconos.
