No washer and dryer in unit was a bit inconvenient for our large group of 6 (trying to hang wet towels to dry between uses) but otherwise very comfortable. We also experienced some problems with ants that took almost our whole stay to get under control.

The bathroom in the primary bedroom will not accommodate a large person, or mobility challenged individual, with its awful layout. Both baths need our opinion, the ambiance of the Ma’alaea Surf cannot be beat. We enjoyed Coconuts, Times Supermaarket, and trying Maui e foil surfing.

C-1 is an end unit with no one above you and high ceilings. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and beach chairs, a cooler and sand toys are stored in the closet.The landscaping at Ma'alaea Surf is stunning and the low density makes this resort quite special. We'll be back!

We were so delighted with everything. Our view from the Lanai was stunning. Our bed so comfy. The kitchen so well equipped. And even an Ice maker!! Two lovely pools. Our beach front amazing. Five minute walk to the best Hawaiian shave ice and coffee with bakery. Couldn’t get enough of the banana chocolate cream pie!!

This property is amazing with just steps to the beach outside your condo. It is perfect with kids since there are pools and beach all right in front of you! The property manager Malaea was so kind and very easy to get ahold of. Highly recommended!

My family of 5 adults stayed at this property for 5 lovely days. The resort is beautiful with a beach for walking and swimming just a few steps from the lanai. The pools are warm and clean. Plus, the outdoor shower is great for a quick rinse after swimming in the ocean. The lawns and flowers of the resort are kept up by the most meticulous gardeners. The view from the lanai is the ocean and beach. Plus, being on the ground floor was perfect to walk directly to the beach from the lanai. Also, the "farmers market" that is a short walk down the beach is a great place to get local vegetables, fruits, homemade bagels, and other goodies make in Maui. I would say the only think we found disappointing was the dated and somewhat shabby condition of the condo interior. There was a tile in the bathroom that had fallen off the wall and was just set against the wall. The master bath of which there is no photo, was stained and clearly needed an update. The sleeping arrangements are fine for 4, but the couch as a sleeper is not an option for an adult as it's really uncomfortable. The owners could take care to do a few upgrades or show pictures to clearly help people know what to expect. I would certainly go back to the resort, but may look for a different condo to stay in.

Our favorite activities were readily available: beach walking and shuffleboard. The condo is within walking distance to a fruit stand, bakery and coffee shop. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation and dining. We enjoyed visiting with other guests. This condo is situated in an ideal spot, centrally located on the Island. Hope to stay at this same location another time in the future.

It was very clean. The grounds were lush and well kept. Our unit was perfect for our family of 4. Everything that you could ever think of was provided in the kitchen, you just have to. It your own food. We visited the second week of dec so it was not busy at all. You want to go have a quiet peaceful vacation with your family then this is your place. We came across a few owners and all of them were such nice and friendly people. The weather didn't cooperate at all during outer stay but that has nothing to do with the resort itself. One thing I wished they had was heated pools. This feature definently will impact our decision of revisiting and if visiting again we would pick months that were hot. Aparently nov-feb is wet Maui season. We weren't aware of that. We spent a lot of time indoors bc of the rain and even if it didn't rain it was cloudy and the ocean and pool water would be too cold to go in.

The grounds are peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable, with a walk-out beachfront and easy access to other parts of the island. Each unit is different, with some more recently updated than others.

Unit C1 is tucked back further from the ocean than most, but still has a nice view, and we love the ground-floor lanai. It's spacious, with two bedrooms, and the kitchen is remarkably well-equipped for a rental unit. The only small downside is that the main path to the southern section of the property traverses immediately in front of the lanai, but the installation of mirrored film on the glass improves privacy greatly, as long as the doors are shut. The up side is that we can say "Hello" to many of our neighbours, if we want, as they pass by while we are outside.

Also, there is no one directly above this unit, making it quieter than most of the ground-floor units, which is also a plus.

We would stay here again.
