Renting the property went well.

Owner was available and easy to work with.

Check in was simple, management company was helpful with gas fire place.

We had a great time in Le Chalet, the location is great if you want to go to Massanuten ski resort, its a spacy and cozy home. The view is gorgeous. The kitchen is equipped with all you might need, but you have to bring consumables. TV has cable and the basement counts with a billiard and ping pong table. We would book again.

Great girls weekend while the guys went hunting!

Great place to stay. We stayed for JMU homecoming weekend with 2 other couples. Plenty of room, easy to get to restaurants, university, etc. Would stay again!

We stayed here for a weekend to attend a family wedding. We did not spend a lot of time in the home but when we did, it met our needs nicely.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was sufficient for our family. It was kid-friendly and the game room was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. However , there were only a few washcloths, Wet towels were in the dryer, broken chairs on the deck, and the fan in the bedroom to the left on the main floor was about to fall off the fixture. On the third day of our rental, someone came out to fix it. Washcloths were never brought and chairs were not replaced So only 2 usable chairs on the deck. On the bottom floor, the glider is cracked and unusable The trash cans were loaded with fully loaded with trash with no room for our trash. I emailed the owner the week before our arrival and never received a response.

If you are looking to get away from the city, this is it! Large house with it's unique European Style living. Comfy, quite and with several activities you can do that are close by.

A small group of friends and I stayed at this property for a girls’ weekend away and it was absolutely perfect. Clean, comfortable, clear directions and communication from the owner. Plenty of space for a larger group to be quite comfortable as well. Thank you for helping to make it such a great weekend!!

This chalet was excellent for a weekend in Masanutten. It's incredibly charming and cozy on a winter night, and it was a short drive to the ski slopes. There were only 5 of us so the property felt enormous - we are already planning to return in the summer, but with more friends. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment you'd need. While some of the house had a charming vintage feel, the bathroom & kitchen appliances were nice and new.

We had a wonderful time at Le Chalet. The house was very cozy with multiple fireplaces and great spaces for talking. The owner was also very flexible with us! Overall, a spot I would rent again!

Every year we take a children for a winter weekend. This year we chose Massanutten. It is very important to me that I find a home that can accommodate our group and add to the family weekend experience. This home was perfect for that! It is in a perfect location without the need for long distance travels to resort activities. The home was spacious and allowed room for the family to all join together and also have private space. I loved that sleeping mats were provided that made it easy to make sleeping space for the children that wanted to have a slumber party together. The home was a little chilly but the host did provide plenty of blankets and extra comforters. The gas fireplaces added extra heat and a gathering place. Thank you Mr. Stanley for sharing your home so we could make family memories.

Our group of 11 spanning 3 generations had a wonderful time. The location was close to all the activities that the resort offers. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the weekend. The kids loved the ping pong table and pool table. A beautiful time. Thank you.

Our family had a wonderful time here! Classic old French Chalet style. It was perfect fit for all our members. Close to everything! Would love to come again!

Very nice

Perfect place for our guys hiking trip. Close to several great hikes and loved the open floor plan and rec room so we could all hang out together.

My family and I enjoyed this time we were able to spend with each other in this cozy home. Although allot of the fun things to do in Massanutten were closed due to staff going back to school, we had no problem staying inside! This size of this home was perfect! We look forward to coming back here again!

Easy and fast experience.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It is located in a great spot for access to the resort amenities and had plenty of space for our family to be comfortable. My only complaint is that the oven, tubs and showers are in need of a deep clean. Everything else was great. The beds were comfortable and overall we were happy with the home.

Very nice house, with gorgeous views and plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 babies. The pool and ping pong tables were a big hit. The owner was very helpful and responsive. He was very easy to contact and communicate with. He sent us numerous ideas for activities in the area that our granddaughters and adult children would appreciate, as well as took the time to find out the cost to use the resort swimming pool. The cream colored carpet was a worry with so many people as well as two toddlers, and trying to find a place inside to hold the trash until checkout was also a frustration, especially with such a large group. However overall it was a very nice home and we had a wonderful time!

Only issue is while staying with kids, need to ensure they don’t make stains as the owner cautioned abt the stain fees.

Great property in the hills of the Massanutten resort. Lovely home that has all you need. Photos are on point, lovely wooded area. Whether you desire privacy to relax or things to do nearby this is your place!

My friends and I stayed here for a last minute ski trip and this house was perfect. The interior really puts you in the scene and all of my friends were impressed with how nice it is! There aren’t a ton of TVs but that’s perfect because it forces you to interact with each other! House has everything you need to make urself feel at home. Perfect getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have no complaints and would go back. If this house was located right next to the slopes I fell they could charge quite a bit more. Thank you for your hospitality!
