This property was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the views from the porch were beautiful. The property was conveniently located to surrounding towns, scenic views and waterfalls. The property owners were very helpful with places to eat and places to visit during our stay. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming again. We will recommend this place to our family and friends.

Ken and Kim, excellent hosts. They greeted me on arrival. Very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The accommodations were superb. Nice,very clean and spacious. The view of their farm from the porch was amazing. Very relaxed and peaceful getaway. I will most definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is clean and comfortable. The country setting was also something we enjoyed and the hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. This will definitely be our first choice when we visit the Brevard area again!

The location was very convenient to the nearby waterfalls. The place perfectly accommodated my wife and I, as it was well setup for two people. The price was very good and the place is very well maintained.
Kim and Ken were great hosts, and our stay was great.
One consideration, if you are a late sleeper, is that they have a donkey and a couple of roosters that enjoy chatting early in the morning. So if you are inclined to want to sleep in late, you may want to consider staying elsewhere.

My children and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Homestead. Ken and Kim made us feel welcome and were very kind and caring hosts. We were able to access the nearby towns and attractions easily from the property. The property is peaceful and clean and truly a home away from home. I recommend this property to families who are looking to get away and relax in the mountains. We can’t wait to visit here again!

Ken and Kim were wonderful hosts. Accommodation very nice and fun seeing and listening to the farm animals. The one bedroom apartment is very nice. Location only 12 minutes to town of Brevard. Well situated for surrounding outdoor adventures in the area.

What a find this was for me and my children! The apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. Clean, comfortable, packed with amenities, and conveniently located. We loved the setting of the farm - so peaceful and beautiful! The hosts were so kind and gracious. It was my first Vrbo experience and it couldn’t have gone any better. We plan to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay !! Ken and Kim were great hosts! The place was clean and close to town (restaurants, shopping, etc.). It was also close to hiking and waterfalls !! It was very updated with most everything you need. We really enjoyed the covered porch where we could sit and enjoy the mountains and of course all the animals. We plan on staying there again when we get back to the area!

Our stay at Homestead Farm South was exceptional. The over garage apartment is well-appointed, comfortable, and impressively clean. The hosts, Ken and Kim, were delightful and gracious, and all communication was timely. The property is lovely, with cute farm animals including my favorites, the three baby goats!
The farm was close to the Davidson River where we enjoyed some trout fishing. We would definitely stay here again!

We love the area for hiking so this was a perfect home base for meals and rest (great bed!). The weather was perfect but I can’t give them credit for that!!

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and a perfect location for beautiful waterfalls and The Pretty Place. It was private. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we had complementary coffee, sugar and creamer. The lights on the outside staircase were very nice for returning after dark. The farm animals were a BONUS. This place is definitely a “hidden gem.”

Communication was great. The place was spotless. Comfortable. Cozy front porch overlooking the cliffs and the chicken coop. Watched the horse, donkey, goat, and hens every morning sitting in the chair while it rained. Motion activated lights on the steps were wonderful at night. Quiet, but close to town.

My husband and I needed some time away after our son’s wedding. The apartment over the garage in the mountains was beautiful & very clean. Waking up to the sounds of the farm animals was a nice change of pace for us, city folk! Is there anything better than Fall in the mountains? There were many hikes and waterfalls close by making it a perfect location for our stay. We were able to meet Ken & Kim, the owners. They were kind and thoughtful. If we ever travel that way again, we would love to stay at their property again.

This is a beautiful property. The space is very clean. The owners Kim and Ken are very nice and welcoming (but also give you your space- just in case you’re worried about that) they live on the property as well, but the unit above the garage faces the farm land and you can’t see each other - so there’s privacy.
The farm animals are charming! And there’s a great view from the deck. It’s a perfect location - 10 minutes from brevard downtown, 10 minutes from pisgah entrance and 10 minutes from DuPont. A great landing spot after a day of activities. We loved it - also - my boyfriend became my fiancé here! Special place to be.

We loved seeing your farm animals in the pasture and enjoyed talking with you during our stay. Your home and property are beautiful. We also spent time in downtown Brevard - did a lot of walking and enjoyed several of the restaurants in town. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Ken and Kim's property. It was clean, quiet, well-equipped and in a great location for exploring the waterfalls and hikes in the area. Communication was prompt and clear from booking to checkout. Enjoyed chatting with both Ken and Kim and appreciated their recommendations for food, groceries and activities in the area. Would stay here again!

My husband and I spent three days at this lovely farm. The garage apartment was perfect for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. We also enjoyed visiting the farm animals! It was a nice little vacation for us.

Ken and Kim are fantastic hosts … the rental was immaculate! Perfect spot for a getaway … all the beauty and serenity of the countryside, with pastoral views, yet close enough to the charming town of Brevard if you want to explore the shops and restaurants. The home town movie theater is pure Americana. Loads to see and do in the area! Hope to be back soon!

We arrived for our stay and were blown away by how adorable the place was! Pictures do it no justice, it’s much bigger than shown in photos. We were expecting a studio type place but it was nothing like that! Everything you need for cooking is available to you and don’t even get me started on the view! Mountain View’s from both sides of the place! We were 10 minutes from the city and super close to the parkway which was the best part of our whole trip! Ken and Kim communicate well and are sooo sweet!
We will definitely be back and we have already referred friends and family to stay there.
