We have been vacationing in OIB for 8 years and everything was perfect from the booking, to check-in, to accommodations, to cleanliness, to the pool temperature, all the way down to the views! Host was very gracious and helpful - will definitely consider this property again in the future!

The property was perfect for my family thanksgiving and celebration of my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. The house was clean and spacious and the views were perfect. We enjoyed the living space and the kitchen was enormous--a plus with so many of us trying to cook Thanksgiving. We would go back again in a heartbeat and are thankful for the space and the time together.

This house was beautiful!! Amazing views from the huge decks. The location to the beach access was so close. Our entire family enjoyed the pool everyday! Plenty of space for our large group. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would love to book this house again in the future if it is available! Fantastic first vacation to Ocean Isle Beach!

We’ve stayed at this property before and were excited to return. We had a great week and the property owner was available whenever problems arose. We had a little difficulty with the dishwasher cutting off mid cycle, and one of the burners on the stove not getting very warm, but I would expect those things to happen over time with a rental property. It didn’t impede our stay or enjoyment of the property. Great visit and we’d definitely return again. The location is perfect.

This was the best property I have booked thus far at OIB! The house is impeccably clean, with the best views and fabulous floor plan. Not one complaint and we will definitely be returning to this lovely property.

We have made it a tradition to spend one of the major holidays at the beach with family so no one has to host. This house was perfect for such an occasion. Large kitchen with a long dining table that could accommodate everyone was much loved and used. We also appreciated each bedroom having its own bathroom, perfect for family setup. We will definitely rent this home again as we vacation to Ocean Isle often. This has been our favorite home to date!

We had a great time at the “Living the dream” ocean house. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the deck, easy access to the beach (one block away), and the amenities of the home. The heated pool was really nice, and Eric was incredibly responsive if we had any questions. I highly recommend the home if you are looking for a family/friends getaway.

Property perfect for family all ages. It's great have owners keep items available so you don't have bring so many things like chair for ones, gates and pack n play. Awesome having beach closet. Everything you need for pool and beach fun! Together spaces and get away spaces in house. This is our second stay and will always come back here. Location to end island and beach perfect.

We really did love the house. We had a hard time operating any of the TV’s. The kitchen was spacious and clean but the pots and pans were not the greatest. The view could not have been much better and the bed was very comfy!! Thank you!!

We had a great time during our stay. The house was just as shown in the photos/described with easy beach access just across the street. The elevator was a life saver with groceries and luggage. We would definitely stay here again

Great Family Girls Weekend - Description as advertised!
This property is as described, except how immaculate the property is! It was a perfect long weekend for myself, Aunts and cousins!!! It was 10 adults and 2 toddlers and it was more than enough room. The elevator took some getting use to, but once you got the hang of it, it was great! Very convenient, especially with the older ladies and with groceries since the kitchen is on the top floor. The beach access is like a 4-5 minute walk across the street. There is nothing that I need to recommend or suggest - everything was covered.

Great property and great host!
We were a group of 3 families total 15 people. The host was absolutely amazing at responding to our messages. We very much enjoyed the heated pool and the kitchen which had all the pots and pans we needed. Although this property was located at the second row from the beach, the view from the third floor balcony was great because the house in front of it is shorter. We appreciated the host for supplying laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. We wish linens were provided but we brought our own, it was no big deal. Overall we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again.

“Living the Dream”
Very nice property, new and clean. Modern and up-to-date with nice finishes. Outstanding location with great view and close proximity to the beach; felt as though you were oceanfront. Nice elevator made it easy to carry luggage to the top floor. The owners paid attention to tech with a fast WiFi, flat screen TVs in every room, excellent Sonos sound system and a great app for your phone with house information and easy check in/check out. Would definitely stay again!

2nd stay
This was our 2nd stay at this property, and won't be our last. This place has all the amenities plus views and proximity to the beach. We had a minor issue and called the property manager, and he sent a maintenance person immediately. We will definitely be back.

Great House For A Group Getaway
The house was fantastic, the views were beautiful and the location was great. It had a better setup in terms of necessary kitchen needs than most rentals. The double fridge was EXTREMELY helpful with a larger group.
The only downsides were the grill which was meh and the cost to heat the pool.

Living the Dream is Right!
Our family had a wonderful time and felt like we were “Living the Dream” last week! The house is beautiful and in a great location. Easily one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at any beach we’ve visited. It also had everything we needed, including beautiful views. We loved listening to music through the outdoor speakers of the home’s sound system while swimming in the pool and having dinner on the front deck. It was a much needed fun and relaxing week for my family, and I highly recommend this property!

Perfect end of summer trip
We had an amazing time! This house has it all! 9 adults and 3 children slept comfortably. We utilized the heated pool because the water was freezing. Arrived on a Sunday, realized how cold the pool was, sent a text, and the pool was heated within 12hrs of us arriving. It’s worth the extra money to heat the pool if your stay lands during off season. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We will be back!

Owner very responsive to questions. Had minor issue with elevator due to our misunderstanding of how to use (no fault of owner), but owner responded immediately with solution. Very good experience all around.

Family Beach Getaway
This was our first time vacationing in OIB and Living the Dream was the perfect home away from home for our family. It was just a short 2 min walk to the beach, the ocean views from the top decks were perfect and the house was very clean and the floor plan fit out family nicely. We will definitely be back!

Great family venue at OIB
Living The Dream was an excellent property for our 3 generations of family including 4 under 4 years of age. The layout with a master on the top level with 4 bedrooms on mid level was a great format. The features of the home, TVs + Sonos provided excellent entertain. Eric was an extremely responsive owner throughout the process especially during our stay. Highly recommended!

Absolute perfection!
I lack the words to describe how wonderful this property is! From the moment we opened the door, we were blown away by this house. Extremely clean, new, well furnished, etc. The view of the ocean was the icing on the cake. We’re definitely going to rent this home again!
