Only cons about property is the shower head in bathrooms are set up for someone who is 4 feet tall and shoots a hard stream of water out of nozzzle…….with amount owner charges you would think that kind of upgrade would be affordable…….

The first thing that we noticed when walking in this condo was the view. It is beautiful. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. We would gladly stay again if we are in the Brookings area.

We were here before in 2019 and came back. Like it. You can walk to the beach (Lone Ranch Beach) to the north through the trail by the bench area on the north side of the parking lot or from the marker for the trailhead on Hwy 101 outside the gate. In our opinion, that is the best beach and park for many miles in both directions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here during our family vacation. So peaceful and quiet! The view of the ocean is breathtaking. A very nice and unexpected surprise was all the privacy on the beach. We walked the lovely trail down to the beach every day and marveled at the rock formations, trees, flowers, vast expanse of sky and ocean, and sound of the waves. Beds were super comfortable although we didn’t use the fireplace, it was so nice to have that option available. Just the peace and relaxation that we needed!

We all loved this beautiful condo home where we stayed for two nights. The home was clean and comfortable with everything we needed during our stay. The neighbors that live there are even friendly and engaging. The seating areas for the awesome view were perfect. Having beach access is a wonderful thing to enjoy!

This was an amazing condo with a million dollar Oregon coast view. Clean, well stocked kitchen, easy check in.
Holly is a great host and very easy to work with. Our next trip to Oregon will definitely include a stay at the "Whale Watcher".

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location is terrific and the view is outstanding. The short walk to the private beach is easy until the last part but there is a rope fence to assist with that. The place was quiet and very comfortable. The shower heads do need to be moved up a bit (I'm 5' and I had to lean over). Other than that, it's definitely our favorite place to stay in Brookings!

Lovely little place to stay and enjoy being near the ocean. The trail to the beach was a little steep, but absolutely worth the effort to get down a walk around the rocks, and the views were unbeatable.

The condo was very nice, well appointed and the view was to die for! Unfortunately, the unit is close to Hwy 101 and you could hear the road noise even with the door closed. We sort of got used to it but it did take away from our stay.

While yes, this condo is dated (kitchen, bathrooms) and I felt the need to really air it out (again, due to its age) - the views, beach access, location in relation to town and sights to see were 10+!
Sitting inside (or on the balcony) watching the fog roll in and dissipate as the day went on was pure magic. The nice little hike down to the private access beach is beautiful and time spent down there again, was magical.
If you're wanting to enjoy the gorgeous scenery of southern Oregon from your rental as well as driving around, THIS is your place!

This place has amazing views and the beach access is incredible. Truly a wonderful place location. The condo itself is quite dated, it appears that it hasn’t been upgraded since it was built. And the shower height is about 5 feet, which means crouching (not ducking) if you are 5’ 11” like me.
But none of that matters. It’s worth staying here just to be here. Wonderful spot. Beautiful

Immediately upon walking into this unit on the top floor you are bowled over by the expansive view. Absolutely stunning! We were fortunate to have only a few times when it was socked in with fog but most of our time there was clear. Enjoyed a couple of trips down to the beach on the property's trail and then also explored the north direction on the coastal trail to yet another amazing beach. Could have stayed longer for sure! Everything we needed (except for a cork screw)! Thanks for sharing your great place!

Stunning Views
Great little condo with stunning views. Super clean and well stocked. It is close to the highway so if you are looking for peace and quiet while sipping coffee on the balcony, this may not be the place for you...it did not bother us but some may not like the noise.

We enjoyed every second of our stay. The place was so thoughtful with all of the little touches and felt like a ‘home’. Will definitely recommend. It made our ‘once in a lifetime’ trip - magical.

We had a wonderful weekend here at the whale watcher condo! It was my 14 month old daughters first overnight stay at the beach and she (and we) enjoyed it thoroughly. Loved the views and how close it was to so many wonderful restaurants, stores, hiking trails and drive down beaches! We drove 5.5 from the pdx area and will definitely be returning! Thank you for the great stay!

Wonderful Getaway
We had a wonderful weekend here at the whale watcher condo! It was my 14 month old daughters first overnight stay at the beach and she (and we) enjoyed it thoroughly. Loved the views and how close it was to so many wonderful restaurants, stores, hiking trails and drive down beaches! We drove 5.5 from the pdx area and will definitely be returning! Thank you for the great stay!

Peaceful Getaway!
My husband and I only had a chance to stay for two nights, we wish we could have stayed much longer! Although our building was the closest building to the 101, our stay was very quiet. The view is even better than a photo can capture and there is a ton of exploring that can be done on the beach you access on the property. The property is also a short drive from the Samuel H Boardman Scenic Corridor, so plenty of exploring can be done within 15-20 minutes! This was a wonderful property and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quote getaway 😊

Rainbow rock
Had a great time at the condo. Great views and nice walk to a beautiful beach. Nice kitchen and well stocked. Master bedroom was comfortable. Only problem was the smaller bedroom and small bathroom kinda smelled like smoke. Cigar smoke to be exact. It would be nice if there was a place to wash the sand from your feet after coming from the beach. Only suggestion to anyone else renting would be to close the patio door if grilling because the smoke alarms will go off.

We took the Coastal Trail right from the parking lot for a nice hike to Lone Ranch Beach. The views were spectacular. There are also so many things within a short drive. We hiked to Secret Beach. We walked through the redwoods. There are fabulous restaurants at the Harbor.
The condo is very cozy and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and the view is spectacular!

This place is in the perfect location. There is a path to go see Rainbow Rock up-close and personal. Then there is a bonus of being able to walk through the cave in the rock. We took the Coastal Trail right from the parking lot for a nice hike to Lone Ranch Beach. The views were spectacular. There are also so many things within a short drive. We hiked to Secret Beach. We walked through the redwoods. There are fabulous restaurants at the Harbor.
The condo is very cozy and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and the view is spectacular!

Spectacular view of the ocean, right from the living room!
1st time experience with Verbo, and it was simple and smooth. I called the property manager, to ask for and extra night. She was so pleasant and helpful. Really enjoyed the extra night.

Lovely property located right on the cliff of the ocean. The view was so worth it for us. The , steep, trail below led to a beautiful part of the beach and at low tide we found starfish! Very comfy king bed, very clean.

Fantastic location, beautiful views, comfortable and quiet. Would highly recommend to all. Note- it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so you will get some extra exercise.
Also, would recommend providing an electronic gate opener to those staying in the condo.

2 different areas to view the coast. One is indoors and one is outside in a covered patio. Loved being there !!!

We always love the rainbow rock condos. The views, beach and trails are amazing! The owners were helpful answering questions. This unit is dated and close to hwy.
