We have stayed at this property 4 times now. It's always been very clean. We come to the Charleston area frequently since our son attends college in Charleston and we try to get this property when we come down. The proximity to the beach is good, it's a nice, short walk. The house is in a quiet area, across from the neighborhood pool and tennis courts. We appreciate that we can go and know what we are going to get when we are there. We will stay here again.

This property is clean and cozy and perfect for a long weekend at the beach. Unit is well stocked and it was only a short walk to the water front which is great when you have a toddler in tow! Great communication with the rental company contacts and they were very accommodating and responsive.

Spacious, with lots of window light. Center window in living room needs to be replaced due to fogging of insulated glass. Screened-in and outdoor porches would be very nice in spring and fall (too hot in summer). Bed pillows only a couple of inches high, so uncomfortable. There needs to be a kitchen dishcloth, as well as a second roll of paper towels for a stay of over 3 days.

What an amazing experience at Fairway Dunes! The house is super close to everything on the resort and has plenty of space for a family or group of friends. We would definitely stay again.

My stay in this condo was very enjoyable. It's bright and spacious and the three bedrooms are spaced out and feel private. It's in a good location and close enough to walk to the beach. The owners have thought of anything a guest might need. I enjoyed the pool and watching golfers from the screened In porch. It's perfect for family with kids or adult singles.

This was a perfect spot for our family for a quick weekend to celebrate a family wedding at Citadel Beach Club. We played cards on the screen porch, enjoyed a family game of tennis on the courts out front and used the golf cart to go to the beach and into the market to pick up sandwiches for lunch. It was a nice touch that there were some beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use. We had a great weekend and the accommodations were perfect for our needs. The living room is comfortable and had plenty of space for us to spread out. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Great vacation for family

Nice, clean property. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. Had a golf cart you could rent for a additional fee. Good equipped kitchen. Nice, quiet location. Across the street from tennis courts and the pool. House had some beach chairs, tennis rackets and other beach items you could use.

Combined a Spring Break with our Grandsons spring baseball trip. Looked for a property conveniently located near the beach and all his activities. This property was ideally located. Pre booking was easy and the agent was available throughout our stay to answer any and all questions.

Plenty of room Short walk to beach

Cute unit, lots of kitchen counter space, good location. However, Cleanliness was a bit lacking, porch cushions need power washing or replacement, too moldy to use. Master bedroom is uncomfortably hot while the rest of the unit on same system was cool to cold. Oven and dryer vent both needed cleaning. Cobwebs in multiple locations inside unit.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout was perfect for our family, and the kitchen and living area were nice for cooking. We were able to have family over for dinner without any issues. The beach is a very short walk, and the pool has a rinse-off area and nice seating. The tennis courts are there as soon as you step out of the door. Great value for the price.

Home was very nice and very spacious. Would definitely rent again if opportunity arose.

Overall impressions are really great! The stairs were a bit difficult for my 80 year old mother in law, but it is what it is! The property could use a bit of updating but overall it was clean and nice for all! We enjoyed our stay!

If I could rate this place 6 stars, I would! Such quick communication with Alec and Nathan. If I return to IOP, I will definitely rent here again!

This is our second time staying at this vacation home. Its location to the beach is great! The home is clean and works well for our family. Our son attends college in the area so we visit at least annually. We will stay here again.

My mom & I booked a last minute trip to take the kids to the beach. Overall we had a great time! The place is cleanish. It could really use a deep clean.. my mom & I both kept smelling animal pee in the living room & dining room (could have also just been the sisal rugs that need replacing), there was mildew in the showers, found a dead cockroach in the dining area upon arrival & dirt in the corners. The bed pillows don’t have protective covers & are stained along with the fitted sheets & mattress pad. Ew. Luckily I brought my own mattress pad & pillows. Just needs a few updates & some good deep cleaning. The location was nice, could have walked to the beach but we used the golf cart. For a last minute trip we enjoyed it!

Overall loved our stay. Having access to tennis courts was fab. They were in great shape & drained well. We couldn’t use the pool b/c of Covid but had access to another close by. The short walk to the beach made enjoying the ocean easy. The house itself had a good layout for a family of 6 w 4 teens. It wasn’t fancy but well maintained & had everything we needed. It was a great bonus to have the golf cart, beach chairs, beach towels, tennis racquets, etc... Lastly, the property manager was very responsive & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed 27 Fairway Dunes! It had everything we needed and more. Beach chairs, bikes, golf cart, comfortable beds and furniture, spacious living area and kitchen, view of the 11th fairway and green of the Links Course, new smart TVs with Netflix and a whole lot more. We’ll definitely seek out this great condo again!

Pros: - good location. Convenient to beach and pools - house is open & comfortable. Each bedroom has an en suite bath - property manager was responsive. We had an issue with the downstairs AC and he quickly sent someone to fix - beach wagon etc in garage - helpful to have & nice to have a garage to drop things before coming inside. - golf cart is a must for getting around! - Easy checkin process & getting in / out of house Cons: - townhouse could used some updating - furniture is dated, the place could use a paint job & carpet cleaned or replaced on stairs. - downstairs king bed is loud & squeaky. Every time you move it makes a loud noise. - would be nice to have outdoor space. The screened in patio was hot & has little air circulation, so we never used it.
