Very comfortable and well appointed home. Lots of great things to do in the area. Hikes, The Parkway, Skyline Drive, wineries and breweries, The Blue Ridge tunnel (very cool) we stayed busy but my favorite spot was sitting on the deck looking at the mountains. The view from the living room was amazing too. We hope to return. Highly recommend.

We LOVED our stay and plan to revisit. Easy walk for our 7 and 11 year old to the slope. Quiet with beautiful views!!!!! Such a special place!!

We loved this house in Wintergreen! The cabin was perfect with all the amenities. It was clean and comfortable. The views were spectacular as it is right across from a look out! Perfect location in Wintergreen. Walking distance to the local market and The Edge restaurant. Very close to wineries and breweries. Hiking trails are right there across the road and along the road. Ski slopes are steps away. The owners also had a book full of brochures and information that was really useful for visiting the area. The owner was very communicative and offered suggestions on where to go, what to see. Thanks for a great vacation!!

We stayed here with my parents and 5 kids newborn,5 7,12,14. There was something here for everyone!!! So pleasant and comfortable with a beautiful view!

We had a great time at this cabin. Location was amazing. It’s not right on the slope but it is a very short walk to the top of the slope .. we were able to go back to cabin at any point. Also the view of the mountains was so beautiful!! The cabin itself was well equipped and the mud room was perfect! Beds were comfy except for the master bed, It was very firm.. but that is personal preference.. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wintergreen is one of my favorite resorts. After my son took a job on 12/22 in Colorado I had to change up my plans from a family getaway to a girls weekend. 3 out of 5 of us girls ski and I was so excited for the others to watch us come down the mountain off the back deck and enjoy our down time watching the skiers and snow. When we arrived at the house it was NOT on the actual slope, we could not see the snow or watch anything but cars drive by as it was not what I thought a true ski in/ski out house was. I have rented before at Wintergreen and I was very disappointed I had not asked," Kathryn is this a snow, mountain view, watch skiers off our deck home? The home is nice, Kathryn left me a sweet gift on the counter upon arrival, lots of firewood and I kept the fire going ALL day Saturday and at night time. It was a great home but not what I expected. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a short walk to the slopes this home is perfect for a family. We had a great weekend and it was my fault I did not ask the right questions.

We love this home! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was just perfect! The ski area is just across the street. The home has a large entrance way for skis, boots and coats, a cozy wood burning fire place and the cutest loft with 2 sets of bunks. The owners are very response. We will definitely be back!

We loved this cabin! The view and location were absolutely perfect. We were able to ski and hike without leaving Wintergreen's property. We love to cook and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped with everything we needed. In addition, the owner left us a sweet goodie-bag, including champagne to celebrate the new year. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and home. Would stay here again and again. We spent a day skiing, a day in Charlottesville, and then a day hiking and just enjoying the house when ski slopes were mostly closed due to a week of warm weather. Views are amazing, very short walk with skis to blue level slope and easy to leave slope with lift and gentle short slope to exit point. Bedrooms face west side of house, so easy to sleep in. Dining window faces East, so you can enjoy sunrise and back of house (a wall of windows plus a deck) is south facing, so all day sun and beautiful sunset views of mountains from kitchen, dining, main living room, and primary bedroom. Comfortable couches in main living area, wood burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit that we didn’t use. Carpet in bedrooms and stairs/loft could use update. Loft is ideal for kids/teens and we all watched a movie together there, by request of our son. Good selection of board games. We had a lovely stay! Thank you for sharing your home!!

From the beauty of this home’s location to the comfort and attention to small details by Kathryn to ensure my stay would be exceptional - I can’t recommend this place more! I had friends who visited for one night stay and they too said they loved the place. I plan to return and can’t wait for the next opportunity to do so.

Wonderful, relaxing stay at this charming cabin with breathtakingly beautiful views. We loved the deck and the family room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, which was good since not many restaurants are open in the off- season. The market is super close and has most everything you need. Good idea to pick up provisions on the way up, though. Our kids would’ve loved the loft area with bunks if they had been with us. We’ll definitely be back!

Best view and lodge comfort with everything provided

We stayed in this property for 4 days in August and had a wonderful time. The views from the deck are breathtaking and there is easy access to lots of hiking trails nearby. The house was clean and fully equipped and the owners were very accomodating, even allowing us to bring our two Labradors with us. Great escape in the Blue Ridge!

This is our third time staying at Kathryn and Aaron’s Treetloft cabin. We love that it is in the Blackrock area of the mountain, so much quieter, but also just a quick hike or ride down the hill to the store, Mountain Inn and Starbucks😊 The porch is my favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon wine. The views are incredible! Kathryn has thought of everything to make your stay in Wintergreen a memorable event. Loved the addition of the fire pit this year. We shall return again❤️

Ours was a late spring visit. The deck overlooks a pass into the Rockfish Valley and the hills beyond that was incredible. Even though the temperature was in the 90s down below, the temps were a full 10 degrees cooler with a lovely breeze. It was 10 to 30 minutes to all the attractions we wished to visit. Lovely place with many amenities. You won't be disappointed.

We stay at this place whenever we can when we go to Wintergreen. Perfect location, walkable to slopes and trails, and just right for our family of 4. Great host, we will stay here again.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect for our group to be able to ski during the day and night, just a short walk to the slopes made it so convenient! The loft area upstairs was great for the kids and the house was well stocked. Hope to come back next year!

Our family stayed at the cabin for a long 4-day ski weekend in January. We were first impressed by the location - just a few steps away from to top of Eagle's Nest lift. The view from the back of the cabin was even better, however. Cozy and welcoming, the entire space was neat and clean and very well stocked and organized. The layout gives ample privacy for all rooms and plenty of space for gathering in the main living areas. While we cooked all meals in, you are within walking distance of the Market and main attractions of Wintergreen. It could not have been a better choice for our needs and we will most certainly be back again!
