We completely enjoyed the house as it provided more than enough space for our family as well as many options to relax and find your own area for just hanging out. We very much liked being on one level, but with the very large rooms/spaces, especially the kitchen and bar/table areas. The patio and yard were thoroughly enjoyed and being able to fly fish right out the back door or sit in chairs along the bank of the river was the best...!

Spacious comfortable, beautiful setting

What a special place this is! Ten members of my family came from Missoula, MT and Fairhope, AL to spend the week together. From the moment we pulled into the drive, this house and property met or exceeded all expectations. We couldn't stop repeating "This place is incredible." We made a few day trips to Glacier National Park, but spent the majority of our time here enjoying the Swan River House. Our days were spent either by or in the river, and our nights were spent visiting and making s'mores by the fire pit. Lots of fishing took place, but apparently the fish weren't interested in joining the fun. We anchored floats to the river rocks and floated the hours away with stunning views. We soaked in our days here, and we're already dreaming of our return. Thanks to Stephen for a fantastic experience! We lacked not a single comfort or luxury during our stay. We're taking memories with us and leaving behind nothing but good vibes for those lucky enough to enjoy a stay here in the future. Don't forget to look at the stars!

We loved the house and neighborhood! What a lovely view and a well appointed home - easy and pleasant grounds and access to the river, and lots of nearby roads to walk and look at the scenery. Very comfortable beds and linens, tons of space, and great common areas for gathering as a group. We are already checking dates for a return visit. Thank you!! We loved it!

The only thing that would make this property any better would be if we owned it!!! Lol. Absolutely perfect setting on such a beautiful river with breathtaking views out every window. Great location and proximity with so much to do from activities to dining. Stephen was such a gracious host and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I hope we are able to stay here in the future and for a longer stay. Very thankful to be able to rent such a beautiful home!!! I would recommend it to everyone!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful property - - - even better than the photos suggested! Myself, my 2 sisters & their husbands stayed here for the only 3 nights we could find. We are anxious to return for a longer trip, perhaps to check out Glacier NP next time. The house, the amenities, the location, and dealing with the owner were Perfect. We all loved simply sitting by the river and visiting

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the river house! We live in the area and needed overflow for family and it was perfect! Stephen was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly! The home was lovely and the setting gorgeous! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!! We hope to visit again when we have another family gathering! Great spot and so comfortable!!! 💕💕💕💕

What a fantastic house for this special occasion! Plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen, Swan River is right outside, deer daily in the yard, very quiet and tranquil and close to everything- it was perfect!

We called the swan lake house, the mansion! It was furnished so beautifully, we felt like we were in one! Everything we wanted was available. Each bedroom was beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen was supplied with more appliances then we needed to cook a wonderful meal, and all sit together and enjoy. The yard is so inviting, with a barbecue, comfortable furniture and a fire pit on the lake! Fishing rods and wading boots available for us to enjoy. The location is private enough to enjoy and close enough to get out to all kinds of sight seeing and activities. Our Host Steven and family were a true joy to interact with and available if we had a need. There was no other accommodations I could have asked for. My intention is to return again soon. This is truly a five star rental!!

We had an outstanding stay on the Swan River. The house was perfect for our family. Clean, comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and out. Family game night was fun at the dining table. Fishing was a little challenging with the spring run off but we still had success catching rainbow and cutrlthroat trout. We even caught a Northern Pike in the nearby Swan Lake. Stephen was very responsive to all of our questions and had the house perfectly set up for our arrival. The kitchen is definitely a highlight and made for enjoyable meals. We will be back to visit for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bigfork. The house was perfect for us. Spacious and very clean, setting was wonderful. Our host , Stephen was very responsive, accommodating, generous and flexible. Bigfork and the area are fun to explore, the snow capped mountains are breathtaking! Thank you for a very memorable experience!

This home is amazing and set up perfectly for a vacation rental. It is close to Bigfork & right on the river. We didn’t float because we stayed in the middle of winter , but if others are looking for a place to stay in the summer , this spot of the river is perfect to float with just a big tube . There is plenty of room , everything is very clean . The kitchen is spacious & top of the line .

Our group consisted of 8 friends who were looking for cooler temperatures and a relaxing stay. This property had it all! The weather was amazing and the property was stunning! We couldn't of spent the week in a more perfect place..by far our top vrbo rental. EVERYTHING was perfect. Great location to Glacier where we hiked, rafted and went horseback riding. We tubed on the river in front of the house, swam and enjoyed the view from the porch..so peaceful. A group went skydiving not too far away...everyone had the best time. The home had space for everyone to spread out..even though we were only inside to cook and sleep...thank you so much for a memorable Montana vacation.

We really enjoyed our summer stay at Stephen’s wonderful home. Great set up for families!

Beautiful home on the Swan River, an ideal setting. Lots of seating on porches and patio, quiet with just the sound of the river. Nicely appointed with fabrics and furniture, TVs, etc. Master suites were gorgeous and very large. Kitchen was fit for a gourmet chef and pantry was well stocked. We will definitely return for a future stay.

This home is beautiful and one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. It’s a peaceful relaxing place. The Swan river is beautiful. The home has all the amenities and then some. The owner responded promptly with any questions we had. We would love to go back! Thank you!!!!

We had an amazing trip to Montana, and this house could not have accommodated us any better. It provided a lot of flexibility for our party of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids). The house was even better than its listing. The owner was highly responsive a great to work with. We hope to return sooner than later!

All I can say is, I wish I could have stayed forever! This place was more than I could have hoped for! We didn’t lack for comfort, or need anything. Our host was always gracious in whatever we needed. We had one small problem, but it was taken care of with just a phone call. It rained every day we were there but it didn’t dampen our spirits, or keep the deer away. They came to visit us everyday. When we went out, this place would welcome us back with warmth and comfort. We probably get the coldest temperatures the week between Christmas and new year but we still had the best time. The property is amazing and homey. We are planning to come back every year to enjoy some snow. Stephen is fantastic and quick to reply. We are so happy they are sharing this magical place with the world
