The little house was better than expected. Very clean. Full kitchen, dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge with ice maker. A/C worked wonderfully. Nice deck to sit on (bring your own chairs). The price for the house was more than fair. Just a short walk to the beach. It is in a great location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Mark is a wonderful host and such a nice man. I would recommend staying there and will stay there again.

Great place. Larger than pictures show. Mark was very responsive and quickly responded to all my many questions before our trip and when we got there. Very clean and well kept. Bathroom fan could use a cleaning to make it more effective but overall very clean place. Gorgeous modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Great view of the sound and short walk to beach which was wonderful. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need including some condiments in the fridge and pepper & garlic salt in the cupboard. We didn’t find the remotes to operate the DVD player until the morning we left unfortunately but it worked. Bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Hot tub was hot albeit a bit sandy. Wish it had an awning or coverage over it to protect us from wind because we only got to use it once (in cold, blustery March weather). House is a mile from great shopping at the ferry and close to restaurants museums and other shopping. It was our first stay on Hatteras Island and we got there a day after a really bad March storm had come through. There was a lot of flooding, the ferries were shut down, restaurants were closed and some things hadn’t reopened for the season yet. But the beaches were pristine as we had always heard and people were friendly and there were so many things to do on the island we enjoyed it very much. We loved the studio apartment and would definitely stay here again! We loved Hatteras and hope to get back there soon. Thanks Mark!

The host, Mark, was very accommodating and gracious. Check in was quick and easy. The unit was clean and tidy. Nice new bathroom. Functional kitchen. All the appliances worked well. Very close walk to the beach with our dog and a close drive to shops for groceries and other essentials. Perfect place to stay for a couple.

Short walk to secluded beach. Quiet or non-existent neighbors(thanksgiving is dead in Hatteras). Hot tub is nice touch. Owners are responsive. Glad we drove down in a truck. The roads can get flooded.

This was my first trip to OBX, and I can understand why people are so obsessed with it. It's a beautiful place, and Mark and John's condo was in a great location. It's about a three-minute walk to a gorgeous beach on the Atlantic Ocean; I really enjoyed walking my dogs up there at sunset. It's also a two-minute drive to the small local grocery store. Also, the bathroom was recently remodeled and was really nice. The entire condo was well-appointed. I stayed for two and a half weeks and had a great time. The unit was perfect for my two dogs and me. There was a nice view of the marsh, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything I needed; the only thing I would've added was a cutting board. I hope I get a chance to go back someday! It's a long drive from my home in MA, but it's worth it.

The property is perfect for us and our small dog. Easy access to the beach, apartment is clean and well equipped. We've stayed several times now over the last 3 years and look forward to planning our 2024 visit!

We just loved the property, the studio, the location, the night sky, the sound of the surf and the tree frog songs. We had a wonderful time.

We came to the outer banks to see the lighthouses and we were in a good location to do so. We saw four and the Wright Brothers Memorial, took two ferry rides and cooked out several times. It is a long ride to Food Lion, but The Red and White supermarket is just 1/2 mile south so no problems. Nice little kitchen and dining area so we had plenty to eat. The TV selections were a lot more than you get in a motel. All in all it was a very good vacation. Very nice place to stay. Thanks

A great smaller rental perfect for a couples getaway. great location close to everything in Hatteras. 2 minute walk to a gorgeous stretch of natural beach. Included everything you could ever want, with excellent communication from the owners. We loved the hot tub as well. A tremendous bargain - we would definitely recommend.

Very clean, and in a great part of the outer banks. Not too much traffic. And the host was very attentive. A great place to stay.

Home was small, but we expected that. However, it seemed to still be under construction in many areas, and the interior was filthy. We had no hot water, and it was infested with cockroaches. When brought to property manager's attention, he said the roaches were "Palmetto Bugs" (another name for the North Carolina Cockroach, per quick internet research) and denied there was a problem with the hot water. The plus side: It's a beautiful neighborhood amongst a collection of nice looking shops and close access to the beach. We paid for a week, we left after a single night. Neither the Host nor VRBO had any interest in any sort of refund.

Great location property fit our lifestyle perfect

My partner and I had a great time in Hatteras! This studio was perfect for just the two of us. It came well stocked with everything we needed and was just a short walk from the beach. We also had the whole place to ourself and enjoyed sitting out on the huge deck and using the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This was our 3rd summer at E=MSea2 and it was our best experience yet. The house is perfect for a couple and our dog loves the property as well. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the hosts are fantastic. Beach access at this house is fantastic, a 2 minute walk puts you on the most beautiful beach. We will be back next year for sure!

While I was unable to enjoy my week away at Hatteras this year I was told it was a perfect location exactly as described in the listing. Thank you for being a great host!

Wonderful visit!

We liked the location and the fact we had the property to ourselves. House was fully stocked in the kitchen with all you needed for a full seafood meal. My only complaint was all the windows were dirty. The Hot tub on the deck was a great treat and way to unwind at the end of the day.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at E=SEA2. The weather was great, sunny every day, just a little cool and some wind which made it cooler. The cottage was cozy and we were very comfortable. The queen bed was comfortable and we slept very well each night. The AC and Heat were working fine. A couple mornings we had to turn on the heat to knock the chill off. The temperatures all week were pleasant in the upper 60's and low 70's one day. The location was great just a short distance from the Ocracoke Ferry and the beach was just down the street. The property Owners were very helpful when we had a technology issue with the TV. He was easy to reach by text with his phone. There is always room for some improvements but overall, we were very pleased. We would book this VRBO again if we decide to go back to Hatteras.

Nice and clean studio. Nice view of the marsh and sound. Short walk to the beach. Unfortunately the beach has washed out some but you can't control what the sea does to the beach. The only complaint I had is the spotlight on the neighbor's flagpole. Wish he turned it off after midnight.

House is perfect for a couple or single, great open floor plan and well kept. Easy walk to beach and village.

We visited Hatteras for three nights, celebrating my 50th birthday. We were looking for a small place to enjoy the long weekend. This place was perfect. The price was right and I actually loved bringing my own linens. The owner was very responsive when I contacted him about using the tv remotes. Much easier than I thought. This place was perfect for two people. We used the hot tub each night. Can’t wait to visit this property again in the future.

We stayed in the little yellow house behind the main green one. It is a one bedroom studio, meaning the queen sized bed is in the same room as the living room and kitchen. It was perfect size for us as a couple and our labradoodle. The little living room had a couch and two chairs in the kitchen had a little dinette with four chairs. Downstairs at the entrance from the driveway is a nice outdoor shower as well as hose to use for the dog and us after a day at the beach. The property is located just a block from a private entrance to the beach and if you sneak along the backyard, you can also cut out to the main road across the street to Happy Belly for ice cream. The property was clean and we really like that they do not provide linens because that just makes it overall a much cleaner experience for us to bring our own towels and bedding. Please note that the property does not have paper towels, hand towels, or trash bags. You will need to bring those. The owners food recommendations are absolutely spot on and matched our taste perfectly. We loved it and we are already talking about going back again.

House is nice. Road is full of potholes filled with water. Wind moves entire house back and forth on pilings.

This place was perfect for my husband and I and 2 fur babies. John was above excellent in his communication. He even called me on the phone at one point to discuss options for changing dates due to my mother's death. He was quick to respond by email. The studio was well-equipped with a great layout. The bed was comfortable. TV worked well as did all appliances. The beach is at the end of the street. Great restaurants just down the road. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked well-maintained. There was a grill right outside our door on the deck. Even though the studio is connected to the main house there is good privacy with the separate entrance. On the short walk to the beach one evening we saw 7 deer just standing at the side of the road looking at us. So awesome. John seems to be a great guy who really cares about his property and his customer satisfaction. Highly recommend.
