A beautiful view from the main living space of this home, and a short, easy walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping and restaurants in Waldport. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

The king room is in the basement which smells of urine and garage oil, the game room is pretty much unusable without a gas mask. The dehumidifier runs constantly and makes it hard to sleep downstairs. It's a nasty cave. There is no room in any cabinet to put groceries as all are full of thrift store dishes etc. You'll have to keep your groceries in bags on the floor. All that was awful but the worst part is the owner who thinks this is the taj mahal and should not be renting it out. I'm currently in a financial dispute over scratches to the refrigerator door and wine marks on the cabinet. Crazy. Save yourself the drama and stay someplace friendly and real.

Everything in this home went beyond expectations. The bed was so comfortable that we ended up looking to see what it was and buying one ourselves (casper from costco). Ronna was easy to get a hold of and flexible. I have been renting houses on the Oregon Coast for over 20 years and this was the best equipped house I've ever stayed at. If you want to bake a cake - it's all there. Including some starter flour and sugar, salt, etc. All the appliances are brand new. The views are beautiful. We had s'mores at the fire pit. You can not beat watching the sun go down on the west coast and this house was a perfect place to do it. Our family had a lovely time. Thank you!

Our 14’th annual girls trip was a success. The Oregon Coast was the perfect place to escape the heat of Arizona, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We loved the mid 60’s temperatures for hiking. The house is in a great central location from Yachats, Florence and Newport. The huge windows in the dining and living areas, as well as the porch, offered great views of the ocean. A short stroll through the beautiful dunes brings you out to a near private beach. Walking on the beach was peaceful. We appreciated that the house was very clean, bright and cheerful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Every household item we needed for our stay was available. We are so happy to have great memories to take home with us. Thank you, Ronna. We enjoyed our stay here in Waldport. Right out the back door, over a couple of vegetation covered sand dunes, was a long stretch of sandy beach. We had sunny days the whole two weeks and enjoyed beach walks almost each day (a couple days were just too windy). The propery is nice, especially the upper/main level, and very well equipped. It was easy to pop down to Yachats or up to Newport for a good variety of restaurants and things to do/see.

Overall, we were really happy with this beach rental. The location was superb, the kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were really comfortable. And the view... can't beat it!

It was a beautiful house on the coast. You could tell the owners took pride in everything about the place. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. We all enjoyed our time there. Even the rainy days were nice here. Just watching the ocean out of the giant windows made our stay better.

We stayed at this property with 4 adults and 2 kids. The space was perfect for our group! The house is as advertised. A two minute walk from the back porch puts you on a lovely beach. The house is very well stocked, and communication with the owner was great. Overall, especially for the price, this is a 5-star property in a 5-star location. Highly recommended!

This home was beautiful and the space was very functional. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking as well. We loved being right on the ocean and felt like we had the beach all to ourselves! I would love to return to this home. Thank you for a great stay!

Four of my high school girlfriends and I (Class of ‘63!) had a great stay. We were most impressed with the house, the amenities and items available for our use, detailed information about everything…the appliances, internet, restaurants, activities. Ronna our host was a great communicator. The view was wonderful and even the weather cooperated. We highly recommend Surfview Retreat!

Our stay was restful and fun! The house had everything we needed. The location was excellent, we couldn’t get enough of the view and easy access to the beautiful beach! We would love to stay again.

This is a very nice property and a great location. My mother wanted to go to the coast for her 87th birthday. She wanted to look and hear the ocean. It is a short walk down to the beach. There are a few minor things that need some work. Mainly on the outside. The beds are all comfortable. I would definitely rent this property again.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay for my hubbys birthday. The beach and area were quiet. The views were AMAZING!! The house had everything you could need. The owners were very good with communication. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

The home was perfect for our family. Enough room to spread out especially with the game room downstairs. Well equipped kitchen. A short walk to the beach.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay very, very much! The house was perfectly located, close to restaurants, and with great ocean views. The house was loaded with every convenience device we could ever have needed and was spotlessly clean. The three of us each had our own bedroom and bathroom (with room to spare because the fourth didn't make it).We did cook our own meals most of the time and found every kitchen tool and device with ease. I couldn't ask for more. We took long walks on the beach several times a day and chatted with other friendly folks doing the same. We saw people swimming but didn't take the plunge ourselves. As a child my family and I went camping all around the USA starting from the Washinton DC area when my father had "Use or lose" vacation time built up. We camped on the Oregon Coast then and my brother and I did go swimming in the cold ocean, with an eye out for the "great white shark", and luckily didn't see one! But I remembered how freezingly cold the water was! All in all, this visit was a lot of fun and the house contributed greatly to our trip. I will highly recommend this rental to local friends in Oregon and to out of state folks who plan to visit our beautiful Oregon Coast!

Great value for location and everything that’s included. Well cleaned, well stocked with all the extras to enjoy time on the beach. Awesome kitchen with tons of gadgets and good knives. The owner was super communicative and kind. 5/5!

Superb

We loved our stay, especially the view of the ocean and easy access to the wonderful long beach. The house had all we needed and is close to so many great hikes and beaches and small towns, which we loved.

This home is well stocked with activities like foosball, racquets for community tennis court, sand toys, movies, darts, board games and more. The kitchen had things we usually have to bring with us and was also well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the house was nice and clean when we arrived. Plus, it is right on the beach with a short walk over a couple of dune grass hills. Great place for flying kites and the beach wasn't busy at all. We would definitely come back again. The location is great as well in the middle between Lincoln City and Florence with plenty to do in that stretch of only an hour in each direction.

10 out of 10 would come back here again. The unobstructed view of the gorgeous dune grass and the ocean alone makes this property completely worthwhile but Ronna is a wonderful host as well. The place is spacious, clean, and family friendly with all of the appliances and housing extras you could ask for during a getaway to the coast. We already can’t wait to come back!

The exceptional nature of this beach house rental is in all the DETAILS! Not only is this adorable cottage exactly as advertised, it includes so many little touches that set it apart. The location is stellar with an expansive beach awaiting just over the sand dune, but it is also with 5 minutes of Waldport shopping...very convenient. Ronna has thought of everything! The beds are comfy with high quality linens, there are fluffy towels and small toiletries in two spotless bathrooms (in case you forget something). The kitchen is amazing with nice appliances and everything you need to cook wonderful meals....felt like being at home. Utensils, glassware, plates, pans, even bar glasses impressed us over and over. Two couples had their own private areas which was great for the four of us. Nice washer and dryer downstairs, beach chairs , a game room, and lots of sand toys made this a perfect place for all ages. We LOVED the view calling to us to explore the pristine beach as the ocean glistened in the sunshine. BRAVO for cleanliness, amenities and a conscientious owner who is providing a memorable experience for those lucky enough to secure this property. We have rented vacation homes from coast to coast, and this was one of our favorites. Magical beach time and a superior vacation rental experience!

First and foremost, the house is breathtaking, so comfortable and so meticulously thought out, you will want for nothing. Ronna has thought of every detail. I was in awwww of the things she had for her guests. The linens, the beds were so comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are beautiful. The kitchen, well the kitchen, I was in heaven, I felt truly at home. The gameroom was a blast, foosball tournament, (we won), darts(we lost), toys for my nephew. The deck was so nice, the beach was so windy, but we could enjoy the view from the deck. I would stay here again without out question. Ronna is a fabulous host and truly cares about her house and home and it shows. The beach access was wonderful, so windy while we were there, but the last day we able to enjoy😊 So in closing, thank you for a wonderful vacation and can't wait to go back😊

We had a great Spring Break at Bayshore house. Kitchen was well stocked. Game room in basement was a plus when weather was iffy. Location right on the beach . Sand on the beach was great. Beautiful views of the dunes with plenty of light in the living room/ dining room area. Lots of beach toys and boogie boards in the game room for the beach. Great communication with manager/owner

We loved our time at this home. The owner was easy to communicate with and flexible when we had to reschedule our visit due to a freak snowstorm. The house was very clean and well-furnished. The knives in the kitchen were actually sharp! I think that's the first house I've stayed in where that was the case. The furniture was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out. I loved that they had a basket of blankets to cozy up with on the couches and enjoy the spectacular view. We were a family of three, but it could easily accommodate two families. We had a blast in the game room with the darts and foosball table, and the TV upstairs was an excellent smart TV with a great sound bar. We didn't take advantage of the plentiful beach supplies, but they had many sand toys and chairs etc. for visitors' use. It was literally a two minute walk straight down to the beach, which was great since the weather wasn't very kind to us on one of our days. We could pop down for a quick stroll and get back up before we were too soaked. I would spend all my time on the porch if we came back in fairer weather. All in all, our stay was wonderful, and we love this area of the beautiful Oregon coast.

Just my newly wed wife and I stayed at this great house on the beach for our honeymoon. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. The place was clean and comfortable. Of course you are a quick stroll through the dunes to miles of empty beach to walk and enjoy.
