Great property and location and the staff at the ocean villas were awesome. cant wait to do it again. I couldn't stop saying Wow, God is awesome. Ocean in front and mountains to the side.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The place actually feels much bigger than in the pictures, which is a huge plus! The community pools were very nice, but the hot tub was broken, though. We also thought that for the price having to pay extra for a baby crib was unusual. Not having beach chairs, no sand toys, a broken boogie board, and an inflatable pool toy with a hole was also a turn-off. Tinny tiny shampoo and conditioner do not count as having any because it was gone after two people took a shower. We were also very disappointed that the property itself does not have any recycling. It is so so unfortunate because all guests go through so many beer cans that end up in the trash. I think it is a bigger issue that needs to be brought up and addressed, especially at large resort-like properties like this one. Communication on the weekend was poor and impersonal. In the email confirmation, we were given a phone number to contact ( and it was listed as the best way to reach them), and on the weekend, that phone number was not the place to call. Made things confusing. There is also a mistake in the listing description with an incorrect check-in time. We were headed to the properties for a 3pm check-in to find out, over the email, that the check-in is actually at 4pm. Anyway, I think there is some room for improvement, considering how pricey this property is.

The room was just as pictured. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was in a great location. This unit is steps from both the pool and ocean. There are lots of restaurants to chose from on property. I would highly recommend this property!

Great place!! Incredible to wake up in front of the gorgeous ocean and grounds every morning. Also appreciated the giant black-out curtains so the sun doesn’t get in unless you want it to! The resort was in a nice spot to hit Luquillo, El Yunque, San Juan, and lots more super easily~ We will definitely come back!!

The location is beautiful as is the view. Unfortunately, the apartment itself is in much need to repairs and upgrades. It is not in a condition to rent to others and I wish the owner/managers were honest about it. The walls had holes and cracks, the furniture was old and falling apart. The kitchen was small and the refrigerator had broken pieces. The kitchen also had ants which drove me crazy because I did not feel comfortable putting anything down on the counter for more than a minute. The bathroom ceiling had mold and the water would turn scalding hot every couple of minutes. I really just couldn't wait to get out of there. Not a place I would ever stay again :(.

The fact that the water went out after a unusual accident for 2 day was fine. I was kindly reimbursed. Thank you. However, for the rest of the trip The one positive is the location within the resort is great! Here are a few examples of less than desired issues the A/C in main room did not work. The dishwasher did not work and if it had detergent was not provided. The fan in the bathroom made some noise but dis not function. Parking lot opener did not work. I was told to ask someone at the desk about it. I did. Twice. They had no idea what I was talking about. Switch for disposal was exposed and potentially hazardous. Sheets in the main room smelled strongly of urine (think it was the mattress pad). No beach towels as listed. No laundry detergent provided. One “starter pack” trash bag (for a week) provided. I’m not a huge complainer and am pretty easy to please when it comes to rentals, but, wow, other than the location this was pretty bad. I contacted the managing partner as well as the owner and never received a call or back so I didn’t bother trying to let them know about the other issues.

Everything was PERFECT from start to finish. The property manager was great and answered my questions in a timely manner. The view alone is worth every penny. We will be back!

Our stay was wonderful! Located within the Wyndam resort property, our condominium had everything we needed, from in-unit washer/dryer, full kitchen and of course fantastic views of the ocean. Just a few steps from either the pools or the beach, we were never more than five minutes from relaxation. Located in Rio Grande, we were 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of San Juan, and only a few minutes from the fun and sun of Luquillo Beach or the beauty that is the El Yunque rainforest. Our unit was freshly cleaned on arrival, and the check-in procedure could not have been simpler! We will definitely be reaching out to Beatrice the next time we are in Puerto Rico. 10/10!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa. Beatrice made check in easy and was a responsive and helpful host. The location and facilities were exactly what we were looking for - a comfortable and beautiful living space, a balcony with wonderful views of the ocean and property, and a fantastic pool and lovely beach literally just out the door. So glad we chose to spend our anniversary in PR at the villa.

My husband and I stayed at the Beachfront Villa - Wyndham Rio Mar Resort in Mameyes II for a week in September 2021. It was fantastic. The pictures were spot on and everything we needed was in the apartment. You can view both pools from the balcony and sitting on the balcony taking in the view and hearing the waves from the beach was very relaxing. Check-in was a breeze. There were no crowds at the villa so we did not have to worry about contact with others and when we did it was in passing. We walked to the resort twice but mostly stayed at the villa and enjoyed "our apartment for a week" at the beach. Beatrice sent us detailed instructions for getting to the villas, accessing the apartment, parking, and locations to tour. Thank you, Beatrice! We had a great time.

Loved the convenience of being within a resort with easy access to pool and beach. Also a great location to explore northeast region of the island.

Staying at the Villa it was better than what we expected. The Villa was well decorated and has everything we need to relax. The closeness to the hotel it was a plus for us. Thanks for sharing your Villa with us.

The location is beautiful and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Was unfortunate we were not able to use the hotel restaurants due to capacity, but we went during a holiday week. The only issue we had was our bedroom air conditioner leaked water after about 15 minutes so we could not use it for the last two days. Other than that great stay. Side note beware of the rip currents at this beach. Our family had to do cpr on a tourist who ended up drowning.

Our stay was better than imagined....beautiful views, great pools ,hot tub just steps from the unit,super comfortable bed, and the pullout couch was good enough....the unit was very nice, that said. .u cannot use the pools at any other part of the Wyndham except for the 2 u see in the pics...a couple times during the week I was the only one in the pool area..not one other person anywhere....so it's great that way...the kitchen is small and functional as long as u have only 1cook ha...we found lots of great restaurants close by......we loved our stay...and look forward to coming back to the area.....ellingsons...

The villa was exactly as advertised, and the location is fantastic. For anyone looking at this property during the pandemic, we were very impressed at the compliance with COVID-19 precautions - both at the resort and in the surrounding area. We felt really safe.

My wife and I loved staying at this villa for our honeymoon. Very spacious, clean and the pool/beach view was amazing! Private pool access with very few people was very relaxing. Short walk to the resort was nice but enjoyed our privacy. Lots of cool places near by for eating and day trips. We are definitely coming back!!!

I had an excellent stay right on the beach. The best part is waking up and looking out to the beautiful waves. Rio Grande is also a great location as its between San Juan and Fajardo while being next to El Yunque. Beatrice, the property manager, is great and replies promptly to text messages whenever there are any issues. The washer and drier in the apartment were not working well, but she plans to get those fixed. Meanwhile, she assisted in using the ones in the laundry room nearby. I loved my stay in the ocean villa due to its proximity to the beach and found Beatrice's informative emails and restaurant recommendations very helpful.

Beatrice was committed not only to providing a great place to stay but also setting us up for a great trip in general. Her communication was incredible. She provided a helpful document giving food and excursion ideas that were on point. The Villa was perfect for our family, located directly on the beach with easy access to the rainforest. We also found the Villa to be larger than anticipated.

Beatrice communicated quickly and accurately. Ocean Villas are lovely and Rio Mar is beautiful. Highly recommend!

We just finished a 6 day trip at this property and we were very pleased. The property was just as listed; although no picture could do that view justice. Beatrice communicated everything along the way and was a great host. We brought our 1yr old daughter and were very happy to have the convenience of the Wyndham amenities within walking distance.

This villa is well equipped with all the basics for an enjoyable stay. It's location is far from the city lifestyle but close enough to the Hotel Rio Mar in case you would like to try your luck at the casino, eat at one of their restaurants or use the spa/gym. The golf course is magnificent. I have played here before, but not this time around. The owner, Beatrice, was easy to contact and quickly responded to all my questions. I'll be back for sure.

My family just came off a cruise ship and spent 4 nights in Puerto Rico. Beatrice’s home was spectacular! The cleanliness, the view, the safety, and the beach was the best we have ever experienced. We enjoyed our stay as much as we enjoyed our cruise. Everything was perfect. We loved our privacy at the villa. The bonus was a washer and dryer in the condo. We would highly recommend Beatrice’s condo!

We love this place and will be back for sure. The grounds are beautiful, villa is comfortable, and the people are great. Beatrice was attentive and responded quickly with all our questions.
