We absolutely loved our stay at Sandcastle Villa. It’s a beautiful, well maintained home and had everything we needed. We had a great time in Rincon!

We loved everything and had a great time! Our family enjoyed the pool and the beach felt really private. The house has everything we needed to enjoy our time there.

We stayed spetember 8th to the 14th. We felt very safe from the hurricane and because the beach was rough a couple days the pool came in very handy. We wanted for nothing. The house made our stay one of the best vacations. Plenty of room and luxurious. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

We loved Sandcastle Villa and the outdoor lounge areas were awesome! We have been to Rincon may times and this was a great property to enjoy it from - convenient to grocery stores and lovely beaches and restaurants. Only a couple of minor annoyances - dogs next door bark loudly in the morning and kitchen could use some task lighting and better pans and knives to make cooking easier. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice. Overall, great place!

The house was wonderful. Very clean and has all amenities, like tea kettle, keurig, pans etc that you would need. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning in bedrooms and downstairs family room worked great. The backyard and pool area was wonderful for having daiquiris after the beach. The rooftop couches were nice for hanging out in the evening . The location is about a 10 min walk into town if that, very easy. The grocery store and a little surf shop and a good place to eat called From Scratch, was just across and down the street. Easy walk or drive and has everything you need. Although The beach is technically at the end of the streeet, about 6 houses away, you can only watch the sunset on the rocks there. There is no per se real beach to set up chairs on. For that you have to go down toward the beach, make a right on that first street, and then walk almost to end, make a left to the beach and then walk a bit on some rocks and then there is a nice big beach. The surfing beaches are nice but they are not very wide and you have to be careful where you set up your chairs so your stuff doesn’t get wet from incoming tide. I know others mentioned the dogs next store to the house but I did not understand the full extent of them until I was there. There are about 3-5 dogs in the property next door. The first day while we stayed by the pool they barked quite a bit. After that we were gone all day and would come back @ 4 pm and they were pretty quiet then. However please note they bark every morning anywhere from 6-7 am. It woke us up every day especially my 18 year old daughter whose room was closest. I would definitely bring a little sound machine for whoever stays in the room with queen bed as that helps. They stop @ 7 am but by then you are already up. That is certainly not the fault of the owner of this wonderful house but you should know about it. There are also a few cats that wander around. They are very well behaved and don’t bother you. We had 2 wonderful meals at Beach House. Teens in our party liked Stoked for ice coffees and smoothies. Plenty of towels for pool and beach.

I gave a 4 star instead of 5 only because of a couple things. 1. No A/C in the bathrooms. I sweat bad and by the time I got done showering I needed another shower. We stayed in late November so I could not have stood it in the summer! 2. The neighbor dogs bark very loud and often. This is not something the property owner can do anything about but the dogs did wake us every morning at around 6 or 7. 3. The driveway gate was having issues running off the track which we dealt with every time we used it. Now the good! The place has everything you will need and very clean! We had a fabulous time even with the few minor issues. Yes I would book again around the same time of year but definitely not in the summer for me!

Location is perfect so was the home. We were very grateful for Pac n play, highchair and little scooter for the baby. Pool was wonderful. Local food and drink YUMMY 😎🙂 most definitely will return. Thank you so much

After reading all of the reviews I had high hopes for this home and stay…I can say it far exceeded my expectations. The home is gorgeous, just steps to the beach, stores, and restaurants. There is a binder neatly organized with EVERYTHING you need to know about the house and area complete with menus from restaurants and brochures for excursions which was much appreciated. My family and I came to Rincon as part of my daughter’s graduation trip and our anniversary. It was my my husband and I, our 21 yo son, 19 yo son, 18 yo old daughter and her boyfriend. They all said this was the best vacation ever and nothing could top it. They want me to book again for next year but “it has to be the same house”. My boys loved the top deck (I did too and drank my delicious Puerto Rican coffee up there every morning) and loved the walk ability of the area. They are very outgoing and said everyone they talked to were so cool and chill. They loved Rincon’s “vibe”. The home had everything you could want or need for the pool and beach. Just steps from the house was the beautiful beach that was never crowded with gorgeous sunset views in the evening. Just to the left of the beach was Villa Cofresi that my daughter and her boyfriend went to pretty much every day which had wonderful food and drinks and to the right you could walk past the rocks to other beautiful beaches. Tres palmas Marine Reserve was a short 7 minute drive that we spent all afternoon snorkeling at. The pool was big and perfect at night after long days at the beach. I could go on and on about it but just book it and experience it for yourself…you won’t be disappointed. We cannot wait to get back to Rincon! The home is truly a beautiful Oasis. Once you enter you’re embraced by the lushness of the property. The home is well equipped with all of the comforts of home. We were traveling with a 4 month old, for the first time, so we were very selective with the experience we were looking for; quaint, quiet, conveniently located and family friendly. This home offers it all. We will be recommending this home as a perfect home to stay when visiting the Rincon area. We will certainly be back.

Everything was exactly as pictured and more!!! My Family & i were so happy with this home. Very clean, private and worked out PERFECTLY for Family time. It is exactly as i invisioned. The pool was an added bonus, very clean and well kept, along with everything else outside with it. There was more then enough seating for everyone, and the outside dining area with mini fridge was awesome. The only thing that threw us off was the Charcoal bbq grill LOL!!! But my husband eventually figured it out, for we are accustomed to gas grills. But all in all our stay was Perfect and will definetly stay again when in Puerto Rico😊

Beautiful home, short walk to a great beach (awesome sunsets), nice pool (with iguanas watching, lol), plenty of towels. Easy walk to downtown, short drive to nature preserve and Rincon lighthouse. Across the street from Econo (groceries), Rincomeni Bakery, Marcos Pizza, a gastropark and more. In short, a perfect location, fantastic accomodations, responsive host. (My daughter lived on PR for about a year and wanted to show us the island. We had 8 of us stay--parents, five kids, and her husband--and had plenty of space.) Met every expectation and helped ensure a relaxing vacation.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Sand Castle Villa and it was more exciting than the first. I had more family come down with me this time and they were enamored with the property and the location. Rincon is a beautiful beach town and the restaurants are awesome. I definitely recommend this property and expect to be returning very soon!

The property was just as described, and the pictures were accurate as well. The house was well stocked and very clean. The location was perfect for us since it was our first time to the area, so having the grocery store just down the road a bit was perfect. Downtown was just a 2-minute drive to all the restaurants and shops (it is walkable but, in the heat, you may not want to attempt). We love the ocean/beach (which was about 5 houses away, short walk) but having kids along for the trip it's an added bonus to have the private pool, so that when they need to take a nap, you still are able to enjoy the sunshine by lounging around the pool area. The yard was well manicured, and the cabana area was perfect for those who like to be outside but are mindful of too much sun. I tend to read reviews before booking a house when we plan our trips. So, I will add this one drawback, which I will stress is not the owner's fault, they don't have control over their neighbors'. The neighbors' dogs bark when anyone or animal walk by and they tend to leave them out in the early evening and very early morning (probably because it's cool in comparison to daytime heat). All in all, it was a lovely home, and we look forward to staying here next time we visit.

The house is super clean & extremely spacious! The balcony off the two bedrooms are Awesome to enjoy your morning coffee & the sun! At night we would go to the top level & enjoy some breeze & music on the comfortable outdoor furniture! Let me not forget the pool & grill area, great laughs & food! We all said the house is worth the money we paid!

My family and I had a great time here! We were very happy that the supermarket, food trucks, and the beach were all within walking distance and the kids enjoyed going to the pool, just about every day! The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the Host responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks for everything!

Everything was as in the pictures. Clean colonial style home. A pleasant neighborhood, couple of minutes walk to the beach. We are eager to return.
