Such an amazing property with so much space to relax in. Kitchen was large enough for several family members to work together in, with lots of seating options. So many fun activities to enjoy in the well maintained yard.

This place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! We had 20 of us, (10 adults and 10 kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house and property were both beautiful and the little mountain town it was in was a perfect quiet family getaway! We will definitely keep our eyes on this place for a future trip! The owner was easy to work with and very responsive as well.

First and foremost, Makeli is by far the most communicative host I’ve ever had over 50+ rentals. The house is located in the most beautiful settings. Private, lovely, and secluded. Absolutely massive home, we had 20 guests total and couldn’t even fill the bedroom. Everyone mingled, played games, hung out.. it was great. Would never think twice about the property again. Highly recommend 10/10

Everything we needed and then some! Wonderful!

We are from Florida and half of the family had never experienced snow. We had a white Christmas for sure and the cabin with huge and open windows to see it all, made it fabulous. The kitchen was great for cooking, and worked perfect for our cupcake bake-off. There were several washers and dryers to accommodate my large family and was needed with drying things from the snow. The property size was perfect because the kids were able to play outside in the snow without us worrying. The kids enjoyed the slide on the property too and we made smores with the outdoor grill. The family enjoyed the cabin very much, but there was a request for more TVs and especially to have one in the main family area. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin to anyone because the property was clean, beautiful, spacious, and the owner was very pleasant. Thank you Makeli!

Everything from the property itself to the communication with the property manager was wonderful. We have had our Ladies' retreat here before and continue to return because it is so comfortable and welcoming.

Beautiful location, beautiful mountain air. Tons of space. We had 28 and had plenty of room. Kids all had a blast.

When you walk on you immediately know this place is 5 star. The renting and check in and out is seamless. My family and I had the time of our lives here!

Storytellers Lodge is magical! My family gathered at the lodge to celebrate the 70th birthday of our matriarch. We enjoyed 4 days of fun, love, rest, rest, and recreation. The lodge is amazing! The grounds are perfect. The surrounding valley is beautiful and the people who live here are very kind. Special thanks to the owners for opening their property to us for a great experience!

This property was more than we imagined! It was so so so beautiful. Pictures didn’t do it justice! We had a large group and it accommodated us tremendously.

Loved the grassy area in the back and the king size beds in every room! Great gathering areas inside as well for big groups. There was so much natural light coming in from the windows that family pictures were easy to get done. We had plenty of bathrooms and the manager was incredibly responsive to any issues we came up against. We would definitely stay again!

Will consider this place for another vaca someday!

Inviting, comfortable, peaceful, beautiful, roomy.

Even though Southern Utah was in the middle of a heat wave, and experiencing record temps, our stay at Storyteller's was wonderful. We chose to cut back on some of our outdoor sightseeing, but still had a great time indoors, with all the space and ample things to do at the house and on the property.

The pictures do not do justice. More beautiful in person. All of our family walked in and were absolutely amazed. The kitchen is a dream. When you have 21 people there are a lot of dishes. We had those dishwashers running all the time. The bedrooms were furnished The host Makeli went way beyond to help make this a memorable experience for us. My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with our children/spouses and grandchildren. He made sure we had enough chairs to have a simple ceremony out in the amphitheater, which was a perfect location. Our photographer had so many locations to use on the property and in the house. On our way to the house from LA area we got aessage the chef had a family emergency and she was not going to make it. I asked Makeli if he knew anyone. He posted our dilemma on some networks to see if someone was available. This just shows the high caliber host Makeli is. We all want to go back. We had a wonderful time. All 21 of us.

This is the second time we have stayed at Pine Valley Lodge. Every detail for a large group has been well planned in the design and furnishings of this large lodge. We stayed at the cabin for a family Christmas party/reunion. While we were there it snowed about 10". It was AWESOME!!! We had a wonderful time!

A beautiful home and lodge....spacious and outstanding. We all enjoyed our stay and the beautiful surroundings both inside and out. Lots of space and areas to gather in large or small groups. Beds were comfortable and the many bathrooms made it perfect!

We loved the location. It was so peaceful. The people waved as we went by and were so helpful when we asked for directions. Beautiful valley! We really appreciated the welcoming gift basket of breads, cinnamon rolls, frosting, jams, chocolate chip cookies and truffle sweets. This is the very first time we have received a gift basket at any of the places we have stayed through the many years we have been having our family get togethers. We would go there again!

Wonderful support and communication from the property manager. The lodge was well appointed and spacious. A beautiful property! We also enjoyed a morning fishing at the nearby lake. Perfect place for a large group.

Perfect place for a family reunion! This place checks all the boxes! We absolutely loved our stay! The view from the main living area is breathtaking and so peaceful! With 26 people, we wanted a place that we could have a room and bathroom for each family to have their own space. The kitchen is so functional and storage and pantry space makes feeding a large crowd a breeze. The downstairs is every kids dream. They hardly wanted to come upstairs will all the fun they were having. Pine valley is a hidden gem and all the beautiful surroundings make it so much fun! Thank you for providing such an amazing home for our family to make memories. We will definitely be back!
