Terrific location, easy beach access, beautiful home! Owner requested we take trash from previous tenants to curb, and there were a few dishes put away dirty. Bathrooms needed attention as well, so I think if inspection was done before our stay, items were missed. Also the sofa, A.K.A. - 4th queen bed is remarkably unsuitable for comfort.

Great views of ocean from this house, on several levels. Easy walk to beach. Well equipped kitchen. Very satisfied with rental.

We were looking for a last minute family getaway with ocean views and this fit the bill.

My husband, our four adult children, and I stayed here for three days/nights to celebrate my 60th birthday in October. We had an absolutely magical time. The property is right on the beach, with beautiful views from decks on several levels, especially the incredible 360 degree view from the widow's walk on top of the house! The house itself was very comfortable, with full bathrooms on each of the three levels, a washer/dryer, large garage, ample parking, and lovely master bedroom and bathroom on top. Jennifer was very helpful: she responded quickly to all my texts and she even gave us an extra night for free to make up for the bad weather! We look forward to coming back!

Jennifer was awesome at responding to my emails on a timely basis. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. I would love for some of the money to go back into "freshening" up the house by; updating the furniture and stocking the kitchen with more glassware, utensils, etc. It would've been nice to be able to use the wine cooler. It was also difficult trying to figure out the television. We did have a wonderful time. Thank you!

Loved the stay here! as all reviews have stated the views of sunrise and sunset were amazing. Loved the master bedroom which offers views of the water. we were 5 adults and 2 kids and this was right size- would have been more difficult if our whole party of 10 were to join. 4th bedroom had 2 twin beds and the top is too close to ceiling and as such would be uncomfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and as it was during Covid- we were not sure what options we would have to eat out- so was very adequate. Access to the beach was very easy . Jennifer our host was very respsonsive to all our needs! would return again if we decide to do so.

Location perfect. Workmanship on some repairs to ceiling were marginal. Dollar store blinds were shabby. The floor of the outdoor deck on the main level was pitched inboard with a constant puddle resulting. Housekeeper’s were still on site at check in so we had to wait extra 30min to get in (and left dishwasher loaded and running). One would expect zero trash on check in, we found a third of the trash bins already full. Stair railing on the interior stairwell walls are flimsy and possibly unsafe.

Property is pretty nicely kept for a rental. All top of the line appliances and brand new TVs with Netflix/Roku quick wifi for the small set. Jen was very communicative quickly answering the few questions we had while there and returned our deposit promptly thereafter. View from the very top deck really nice as (other than the blue'square' house 2 blocks to the north,) it is the highest point in the area so you have an unlimited view in nearly every direction. Only small critique is the kitchen could use some more glassware. Tons of plates/silverware/cooking items and about 20 coffee cups, but only 2 glasses than I could find for ice tea/soda/beer whatnot. Bring a stack of plastic cups with you but otherwise highly recommended

The two good things I can say is Jennifer is very responsive when I tried to contact her. The other is the location. You are right on the beach, and the decks are great. Now for the negative: Be warned, the property description doesn’t mention bedding and towels are not included. It apparently is mentioned in the contract which I missed. The living space is quite small for hanging out, and the Living room furniture was tired and worn. If you like to cook, and we do, the kitchen is poorly equipped.

Stayed for a week with my wife, 2 children, and mother-in-law. The house was very comfortable, clean and had the necessary amenities needed. We had a great time being so close to the beach and right in the middle of "town" ... near mini golf, ice cream and some good bars & restaurants. Owner was also very responsive and returned our deposit very quickly. Would definitely stay again!

My family stayed in this house and for most it was their first time to LBI! They all loved the house, the location and all of the amenities. The owner responded to us very quickly, from booking the trip, to closing out the week. We can't wait to stay at this house again next year! This would be a great house for families of any size, any age!

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful week at this property in Ship Bottom. We have stayed at many oceanfront homes on LBI over the years and found this to be one of the best. The property is well maintained, beautiful kitchen and dining area, very comfortable living room. Excellent sunrise views of the beach and a cool 360 degree view of the island from the upper roof deck. It was only my wife and I this trip, but I could see that this would be an excellent location for a family or group of couples....nice bedrooms and bathrooms on all 3 floors. Great access to the beach. I found the owners to be very responsive, Jennifer returned our emails within an hour with answers to any questions that arose. Overall a very positive experience, and we will surely look to stay there next year. Thank You Jennifer

This is a house with a view! With multiple decks, you will definitely see the sunrise/sunset! The best was finding a nice quiet spot on the lower deck facing dunes and reading a book. Easy walk to the beach, walking distance to many things like mini golf, breakfast places or ice cream. The owner was awesome to deal with and made everything easy. We traveled with 5 adults and 3 kids under 5. The only downside was the living room space being a little small, especially for a movie night. Long Beach Island is the best! I highly recommend renting this house if you love the beach!!

Perfect place for a family or two!

I booked this house eight months in advance and I expected a clean house. I was dismayed that when I arrived the house was filthy - not just dirty but disgustingly filthy! When I asked the cleaners why the house was so dirty they explained that they did surface cleaning only, they said the house did not have a thorough cleaning for the entire season . To name a few issues , the sitting area had what used to be a light grey couch and chair that had not been cleaned for years, there were big stains on each cushion every arm was black from the dirt. The dirt on the couch was not from one tenant or two, it had obviously not been cleaned ever. In the bathrooms there were dark liquid spill stains all over the tile floor, not small spots , big spills that needed a good cleaning . The picnic table that was on the second floor had not even been wiped , there were remnants of food caked on it The grill was filthy and the burners had what looks like years worth of dirt and food and grease inches thick caked on . In the upstairs bedroom there were ants in the drawers and in the bed . I could go on and on about how filthy the house was and have the pictures to prove it . The first floor porch had no chairs and a broken dirty picnic table and you could not sit there , it would have been nice to have the additional space, yet that area was not up-kept . The amount of filth to walk into was not acceptable ! While the owner ensured that the cleaners came back by Monday to do a thorough cleaning and was more than willing to have the place cleaned ,even offered to send slipcovers or come deliver them in person - the fact is when you are spending so much money to rent a place to enjoy with your family it was not acceptable . We used fitted sheets so we could sit on the couch and chair and on Monday the cleaning people spent three hours re cleaning the house. We lost two days staying in a house that was dirty and the owner should have ensured that the home was left in proper condition for a tenant. In addition, since garbage collection days do not match the rental period, we were left with over six full cans of heavy garbage that we had to take a quarter of a block to the curb . The owner addressed our concerns, however, they did not address the issue of what we paid and what was acceptable, they did return the deposit promptly , they should have realized that leaving a filthy house was not acceptable !

I stood in the house with my husband and 2 teenage daughters and from the moment we entered the house we were so pleased with the location and the great decor. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop deck and just watching the sunset. It is the perfect location and the owner was very accommodating. I highly recommend this house, very clean and quiet neighborhood. Will definitely rent again!

The photos of this home do not truly depict the actual condition and it's not a "New" house. We rented this home based on photos and a local realtors recommendation. The house was absolutely filthy and in poor overall condition. 2nd level had an ongoing water leak that surfaced during a day of rain. I strongly urge you to do an inspection prior to renting. The location and views are spectacular but overshadow a very worn out property. The owner did provide a small refund as a gesture to compensate for our experience but it was minimal inlight of the inaccuracies in the advertisement.

This is an outstanding property on the oceanfront, has 3 bathrooms which made our stay very comfortable. The owner is very helpful, and is always available to answer any questions related to the home. The view from the top deck is phenomenal... we will make plans to return next summer and would highly recommend the property and owner...
