We absolutely loved staying in theis getaway home, the adults enjoyed the stay just as much as the kids! The best part was NO tv, the kids played board games and ran around the yard the entire time! Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! Will definitely be back! Many thanks!!

We enjoyed the atmosphere at the property, learning the history behind the Killian as well as the town of Warm Springs. There was plenty of room and it was quite comfortable. However the place could use a little TLC as far as upkeep and cleanliness.

Located in the country you have privacy, and it is quiet. The woods around are beautiful. We were able to enjoy bonfires at night twice while staying there. Sitting on the porch, front or back, is such a wonderful experience and relaxing. Our grands did an early Easter Egg Hunt of Saturday and had a ball. Not having TV is an advantage. The house takes you back to a simpler time and has all the amenities you could ever need. When you enter the back door and open up the blinds you have a beautiful view. Perfect for eating and enjoying nature. Sleeping where it is so quiet is restful and the rooms are roomy. We highly recommend this if you are going to be in the area. We already miss it.

Cute, quaint, charming 1950s home in a great location. Boomers, If you love vintage and nostalgia this is the rental for you! I read the interesting history of Sam Killian and FDR in the info book left for guests. The house was decorated for Christmas and the dining room set up with china as if my Grandma had set the table. Our dogs liked the big yard and woods. Soft bed mattresses and plenty of towels. The owner left a gift ornament with a picture of Killian house on it for us. Thank you for this souvenir of a lovely stay in Warm Springs. As for sightseeing advice we enjoyed seeing the Red Oak covered bridge in Woodbury, the oldest and longest wooden bridge in Georgia. It’s a peaceful place take a picnic; there are tables by the creek. The best way to see the Fantasy in Lights at Callaway is to book tickets for the first trolley time at 6:00, arrive around 5:00 see the Santa shop and then board the trolley. Beautiful lights and music with caroling on board sure invokes the Spirit of the holiday. The ride took about an hour but by the time we walked out the crowds and long lines were evident! So glad we went early! If it’s too cold for the trolley on your chosen day you can always opt to be the first in line at 6:30 in the car lane. We will definitely be back. Thanks again to the hosts for offering their home for rental.

We had a wonderful stay at this home just outside Warm Springs! There were games and books for kids and adults. There was a deer just off the back porch one morning. The home sits high on a the side of a small mountain and has beautiful wooded views in the front and back. We visited a couple of restaurants recommended by the owner and thy were both hits! This home is exactly as pictured. The owner was great to work with. She was super responsive and helpful. We went to Callaway Gardens for the Christmas lights on this trip. We are now talking about coming in warmer weather to visit Warm Springs and the Little White House.

Wonderful place and hope to be back one day.

The Killian house was a perfect fit for our time in Warm Springs. We played games around the round table in the cozy family room, did puzzles on the large dining room table, fixed all our meals in the well stocked (with kitchen items) and drank a lot of coffee. Each of the 4 bedrooms had plenty of blankets for the chilly evenings. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and helped with any issues we encountered. I would definitely stay here again. *If you rely on internet, wifi to do remote work or school, remember this is rural Georgia.

Being an older home, some things didn’t work well. Bathroom sinks very small and pressure not great. The blinds were difficult to close, front door didn’t close easily. Kitchen had everything needed, seating was nice.

My father and I enjoyed our overnight stay in this charming house! Everything was clean and just as pictured. We enjoyed reading the book left by the owners with a little history on the house and items inside.

This quaint house on the hill gave us a wonderful alternative to a "motel' experience. I love reading about the history of the area and the Killian family.

It was very inviting, and very interesting with alot of history with the house. We loved reading the things about the photos and the old antique's in the house. Very well kept.

This was our second time to stay at Killian House. We love the location for visiting Warm Springs and Pine Mountain shops and restaurants. It's very much like visiting a grandmother's house—homey feeling, complete with rust stains and chairs that are serviceable but not the most comfortable. :) We had an issue with the internet, and the owner came right over to set things straight. It was a very cold weekend, but we were snug inside. We did have to keep adjusting the Nest thermostat, though! If you like history and "old-fashioned," this is a great spot for you. We hope to return next year!

We stayed here on our drive from NC to Florida. Cute house and plenty of space for the 5 of us. Nice neighborhood on a hill with privacy. Place was nicely decorated for the holiday. Great communication with host.

The property was beautiful and inviting. We all jumped with excitement to see all the games and books available. I like to clean so a vacuum for me would have been nice. I saw dog food under the couch in the den I would have cleaned up in a jiffy. But my fiance said I was supposed to relax. And I was forbidden. The Christmas spirit in the home was very sweet. We had 6 adults and 2 small children that had the best stay at Killian House! The grands want to know when we are going back! From old telephones to the board games lots of memories were made! Had a mishap with a faucet and it was fixed the same day within hours! The host was gracious and replied within 30 minutes! Most comfortable beds and clean as home! Look forward to our next stay!

We loved staying in this quaint house. Made us feel we were living through history. The house is well stocked with games - the kids were never bored! And we loved using the fire pit in the evenings, roasting marshmallows and enjoying the evening air.

Great property and location. We were only a party of 3 but there is plenty of room for more guests. The kitchen was well equipped even though we didn't cook. I'm a kitchen fanatic. Having two bathrooms is always a plus. The information booklet left was wonderful. I had been to the area several times but found new places to visit and enjoy. It is an older home but well maintained. WiFi was great. The extra outlet extensions in the rooms were a definite plus. I would certainly recommend and stay again.

Only there for one night, but the house was perfect for our party of 5. Plenty of space, very close proximity to Warm Springs and Manchester.

Killian house was a wonder way to spend time with family while enjoying all the surrounding activities. The owner was fabulous and responsive.

My entire family stayed here, we cooked meals and played outside. The sunset was Beautiful. The beds were clean and soft. The kitchen could have been cleaner. Maybe their cleaning crew was in a hurry that day. It was also a 30 minute drive to callaway And wild animal safari. I would stay here again. Felt like we were alone out there even though there were close neighbors. My children played with treasures of toys they found in the closet. The projector was a fun thing we tried out in the evening. It was so peaceful. We loved it ands would recommend it.
