This was a lovely cottage and in an incredible and peaceful location.
This was a lovely cottage and in an incredible and peaceful location. It’s a bit “vintage”, but in a really sweet way. Do note that there’s no internet, and that the stairs to the master bedroom are steep. And, as others have said, the mattress is a bit hard. But, I would *definitely* book again. It was an oasis for a week :)

Only problems were mattress too hard & duvet too thin.

The house was accurately described on the website. It was comfortable and had a good size kitchen/diner and a cosy lounge. It is in a great location in the centre of Grasmere but still pretty quiet.
Be aware that there is no Wi-fi but there is a reasonable 4G signal.
